Not getting to see Britney Spears live on her "Femme Fatale" tour is a huge blow to one's overall life happiness. So it's time to extend a hearty "THANKS!!!" to the kind folks at Epix for masterfully filming Brit's sold-out show in Toronto and helping to ameliorate some of our pain.
Epix recently released a preview of "Britney Spears Live: The Femme Fatale Tour" featuring a sparkle-clad Britney dancing her ass off on a moving platform. Now Epix is bringing us one step closer via a more in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at the making of the tour. The video features Britney discussing song choices and how she works to create a balance between tracks from the past and present. Brit's manager Larry Rudolph also chimes in, speaking a bit about the tour's overall concept: "We had this concept of her being sort of this international woman of mystery and we built [the tour] around that."
Other juicy sound bites include Britney calling her "Femme Fatale" tour an "hour and a half workout" (no kidding!) and Larry likening the tour to "having seven babies at the same time." The behind-the-scenes video concludes how any good behind-the-scenes video should: with a wide-angle shot of Britney standing amid tons of colored confetti. Movie magic right there, folks.
"Britney Spears Live: The Femme Fatale Tour" premieres on Epix Nov. 12.
