While Kelly Rowland's BFF Beyoncé is off being a super workaholic pregnant person, Kelly has been off filming videos for tracks from her Here I Am album, the latest of which is a trance-like club joint, "Down For Whatever." The song is about as clubby as we ever thought a Destiny's Child would get -- no, literally this record is like, straight from the clubs in Ibiza, guys. The beat is thumping, and amid about 10,000 synths, Kelly's booming R&B vocals resound.
In the video, Kelly dances alone on a podium in a hot leotard, sky-high rhinestone stilettos and a chain/metal headdress/face necklace thing (we have no clue, but it's rad). As the colorful lights surround her and flash in a seizure-inducing strobe light pattern, Kelly is content to chill by herself and sing seductively to the camera about doing uh, well, whatever to and for her man: "There's no place I wouldn't go/Tonight I'm ready to take it anywhere/I'm amazed by you/You bring out a side I didn't know.../I'm down for whatever/I'm down for whatever/When it comes to you."
Kelly pauses for a quick outfit change and slips into a zebra print leotard paired with a bedazzled hat that reminds us of the studded admiral's hat in Bey's "Love On Top" video (twinsies!). Then there's some more sexy dancing, winks at the camera and the final shot is basically a nude Kelly Rowland, save for a barely there black leotard, walking away from the camera. Kelly Rowland IS here, y'all.
