It almost feels weird to talk about how beautiful Adele looks on the cover of December’s Cosmopolitan because honestly, it doesn’t even matter! When you have a voice like Adele’s, you could literally have an excess amount of facial hair and wear an old trash bag every day and still be considered the best of the best. But it doesn’t hurt that Adele is like, ULTRA MEGA GORG.
In her Cosmo cover shot, Adele rocks a sexy leopard print V-neck dress with complementary red jewels. Her hair has volume for days while her makeup is old Hollywood glam. And why the eff wouldn’t it be? Have you seen those cheekbones? Uh-duh.
In the spread, Adele discusses the painful breakup that inspired her smash hit and 2011 VMA Video Of The Year nominee “Rolling In The Deep” and reveals her two all-time favorite vocalists: “My favorite singers are Etta James and Aretha Franklin. If you were to look up the word ‘singer’ in the dictionary, you’d see their names. Not mine.” OK, we don’t usually like to make a habit out of arguing with superstars or anything, but we’re gonna have to call you out out on this one, Adele! Your name is definitely listed under “singer” in the dictionary, in addition to descriptive adjectives such as “perfect,” “humble,” “successful” and “pretty.” Flaunt that ish, girl. (In case you’re curious, yes, I am obsessed with Adele, and no, I don’t feel the need to hide it.)
