Cori B. isn't your normal celebuspawn. Yes, she the daughter of Snoop Dogg, but she's a talented little 12-year-old in her own right. We first fell for Cori B. when she came out with her rambunctious, beyond-her-years video, "Do My Thang." And though we didn't think it possible, Cori's 1500 or Nothin-produced second single "SMH" packs in even more swag.
Cori's new song is set to a hot beat that's ready for the club... Of course, Cori's too young to be clubbing so she'll just have to take our word for it and/or set up a dance floor in her parents' living room. For those of you who are totally outdated/unhip to the cool-kid slang don't know, you can thank Cori for teaching you that "SMH" means "shaking my head." And the lingo lessons keep right on going -- Cori's new song is a veritable how-to guide in texting slang: "SMH, got me shaking my head/I'm like 'LOL' when I'm with my friends/You know what it is when I'm doing my thang/They like 'OMG, there goes Cori again.'" (Hopefully you followed that, but if you didn't you probably shouldn't be reading this blog.)
About her new song, Cori B. admits: “I’m really excited to be releasing my second single, 'SMH.' I hope everyone likes it; I had a lot of fun recording 'SMH' and just as much fun shooting the music video! I can’t wait for fans to see that soon!" Based on Cori's "Do My Thang" video, we're expecting a 10-minute expose on how "SMH" is seriously THE BEST acronym on the internet right now. Can't wait.
