Ah, celebrity hairstyles. Celeb cut requests have flooded salons throughout the ages: The '70s had The Farrah, the '90s had The Rachel... and today we (unfortunately?) have The Skrillex, modeled after the L.A. DJ of the same name whose hair is so huge it's inspired the Tumblr blog Girls That Look Like Skrillex.
Skrillex's hair has even inspired a song! Cue Electric Valentine: Last week the Cali-based electro-dance pop duo Chris Qualls and Lauren Baird dropped the hysterical track "Girl, You Got Skrillex Hair," and its accompanying video has already racked up more than 25k views. The video flashes through tons of photo stills, mostly of dudes partying at a club. One of them approaches a woman he initially thinks is hot while the verse plays out: "I can't quite tell, but something doesn't seem right/Face to face, now I know there's something missing here.../Oh my God! This girl's got Skrillex hair!" Moral of the story: You're not going to win over everyone with your Skrillex-inspired half-shaved haircut thing.
