I'm sure that when the infinitely cool Cee Lo Green was composing "F*** You" with Bruno Mars, neither party ever thought their song would be covered by a bunch of dancing chickens, Kermit The Frog, Felix The Grouch or my personal role model, Ms. Piggy! (Actually maybe they would have since Cee Lo performed with The Muppets at last year's Grammys.)
"Forget You" has been forever immortalized by The Muppets, which is basically all the career validation a pop star could ever need. Slated to appear on the forthcoming The Muppets Soundtrack out Nov. 21, we can't exactly comment on the amazing vocals in this cover version since there basically are none -- the entire song consists of chickens clucking the melody to Cee Lo's jam. A tad annoying? Yes, but on the bright side, these birds are totally on pitch.
On a borderline inappropriate note, we kinda wish The Muppets had recorded the explicit version of this song. NOTHING would be funnier than watching Muppets say "f***" repeatedly. You all know it's true.
