Doritos have done a lot for me mentally and spiritually (hello, cheeseburger flavor), but I think California-based acoustic folk singer-songwriter Kina Grannis is even more thankful to the little tortilla chip than I am. After she entered herself in the "Doritos Crash The Super Bowl" contest in 2007 and her original song "Message From Your Heart" aired in more than 97 million homes, Kina quickly scored herself a record deal. Cool Ranch FTW!

Grannis self-released her album Stairwells in early 2010, where it debuted at No. 5 on iTunes Pop Chart. That and her YouTube star status and steadily growing online fan army helped her win an MTV O Music Award for  Best Web-Born Artist, where she even beat out Odd Future and The Weeknd. Not easy to do! And now we're checking in with Kina to find out more about what's on her music radar in the next year and what it feels like to become a household name. On what she's most excited about since hitting it big, Grannis explains, "I get to travel around the world and meet all of these amazing people, and they're singing my songs! And to me, that's crazy." No crazier than getting a record deal from a commercial, Kina. Get used to it!

We also go behind the scenes with Kina on the set of her candy-coated video "In Your Arms," where she lets us in on her organic and "handmade" creative process -- for the video, Kina worked with director Greg Jardin to make an entire video out of jelly beans (almost 2500 individual frames comprised of 288,000 jelly beans to be exact!). As the video plays out, the jelly beans soon find their way onto Kina, who's lying on a glass above the canvases, as she becomes one with the tiny pieces of candy. We don't even want to think about the hours and hours (and hours and hours) that went into "In Your Arms," but the result is totally unbelievable.

Check out Kina Grannis' "In Your Arms" video below, and watch more videos after the jump. Stairwells is out now on One Haven Music.

Cash Money millionaire Birdman and his "son" Lil Wayne are once again making sure you understand just how rich they are -- with an assist from the not-poor Nicki Minaj -- in their latest video, "Y U Mad." "How rich are they," you ask? Oh, just custom white Maybach half-convertible rich. Your savings account gently weeps.

In the video, the Harajuku Barbie revs us up while flossing in her best Lil Wayne impersonator outfit -- blonde dreadlocks, a white tank, baggy cargo pants, and of course, exposed boxers. Nicki lays down her flow and reminds us why Lil Wayne signed her: "I am the female Weezy/This s--- is easy/Pull up in that new, new/Get a squeegee/Yeah, my flow sick/Yeah, my flow queasy/Haha, they was sleepin' on me/Z-Z-Z-Z-Z."

Birdman's up next, and I can't repeat most of his verse here due to my desire to keep my job. Lil Wayne closes out the grimy track while images of of cash, models, and flashing lights having you rethinking your Christmas list.

Y R we mad, Bird, Wayne and Nicki? Because you guys are MEGA, INSANE, OPRAH-LEVEL rich. WE GET IT.

Happy ThanksGIFing everyone! Not only is this the special week where you get to fight with your entire extended family eat stuffing, mashed taters, and fight off wild animals at early bird sales, it's also the week you get to look at extra GIFs on MTV's Tumblr!

Today, we forever immortalize rapper Theophilus London and GIF him out from head to toe. As you can see, we captured a very special moment in Theophilus' life -- the day he chose to wear a sequined tank top. I'd also like to point out that his sweat is glistening much in the same way that Beyoncé's did in her "1+1" video (which coincidentally also got the GIF treatment). GIFs + sweat = magic. Duh.

Check out tons more sweaty GIFs over at MTV's Tumblr, and Happy ThanksGIFing!

It's a super GIF-y week, y'all. If you hadn't noticed, in honor of ThanksGIFing (the word for that time when MTV posts dope GIFs all Thanksgiving week long on our Tumblr) MTV has GIF-ed out Kreayshawn and she's doing what she does best: standing in an outfit that you couldn't pull off while looking badass and spitting a few hot rhymes into the mic.

Check out tons more GIFs over at MTV's Tumblr, and if you have some downtime this Thanksgiving weekend, may we suggest a rousing game of "make your own GIF"? It basically consists of striking an interesting pose, then standing in place and mimicking what would happen if you had a siezure were permanently plugged into a vibrating chair. Fun for the whole family!

Happy Thanksgiving! Before you load up on starches and awkward family conversations, we thought we'd give you a look at Buzzworthy's own personal Thanksgiving dinner table. Just like we always do, this year we'll be dining at Beyoncé and Jay-Z's. They make a DELICIOUS turkey, but they really mean it when they say everyone has to eat exactly at 4 p.m. They'll be seated at the head of the table, obviously, flanked by our tight-knit family of Britney Spears; Justin Bieber, who's annoyed he's not sitting near Selena Gomez; the ever-elegant Demi Lovato; Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj, who decided to wear matching pink hair; Taylor Swift who'll say grace (as she does every year); a radiant Christina Aguilera; an outraged Jared Leto (relax, brah, we got you a Tofurkey); and Drake, who will leave the table early to write in his poetry journal.

So, yeah, that's our humble little family! Hope your Thanksgiving's safe and savory! Happy ThanksGIFing, and now go get that stuffing, you!

GIFs never get old, guys. EVER. Kanye West even said so himself (I made that up). So to continue our long-standing brand new tradition of ThanksGIFing week on MTV's Tumblr, here's another one for you guys to gape at -- Never Shout Never being his soulful, cool, adorable self! Nothing says Thanksgiving + GIFs like Cristofer Drew.

We're not sure what's more impressive: winning the American Music Award for New Artist Of The Year or securing a blazing collaboration with this year's hottest female vocalist. All we know is that Hot Chelle Rae is on an effing roll right now -- they just won their first AMA, and today their collaboration with Demi Lovato has hit the internet.

The song is called "Why Don't You Love Me," and unlike the rowdy "I Like It Like That," "Why Don't You Love Me" takes a softer approach to HCR's infectiously catchy pop-rock. We're not gonna call this song emo, per se, but the boys definitely get in touch with their sensitive sides on this midtempo ballad: "See I can't wake up/I'm living a nightmare/That keeps playing all over again/Locked in a room/So hung up on you/And you're cool with just being friends." The "Skyscraper" singer assists HCR on the second verse, but the song really takes off when everyone gets on the chorus.

On their "Why Don't You Love Me" collaborator, lead singer Ryan Keith Follese admits Lovato's big voice made her the perfect choice for the track: "She's such a powerhouse female vocalist for our generation... She took it up a notch in a way that we couldn't have imagined." Um, not to be rude, but DUHHHH.

Hot Chelle Rae's forthcoming album, Whatever, is out Nov. 29.

Feel a bit of glitter floating through the air? You know what that means... it's Miss Kylie Minogue! Earlier this year, the disco diva embarked on the unbelievably mayjah, utterly extravagant "Aphrodite Les Folies" tour across dozens of countries worldwide in support of her 11th studio album, Aphrodite. Now, the "All The Lovers" chanteuse is about to release Aphrodite Les Folies: Live In London on Nov. 28 -- a full concert shot in 3-D at the O2 in London back in April.

To celebrate the upcoming DVD, Team Minogue has been slowly unleashing some of the glorious performances from the show. The most recent of the bunch? "Get Outta My Way," Mizz Minogue's hands-aloft, kiss-off pop anthem that rampaged straight to No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Dance Charts back in 2010.

Dressed to impress in a dainty top hat and a big ol' poofy feather skirt that would have Lady Gaga ga-gagging, Queen Kylie works through the song like a pro, making sure to spend plenty of time striking poses, getting friendly with her muscly backup dancers (seriously, no one's complaining) and putting on a show like the true showgirl she so effortlessly is. Glam overload!

Oh, and don't forget the ample hand choreography -- point, point, wave, wave, indeed.

We The Kings just changed the game. No, literally -- their new interactive music video/video game "Say You Like Me" just made it impossible for regular old music videos to ever be cool again.

We The Kings' innovative video creates an alternate reality where band members become video game avatars that fans can control. For once in your life you can actually have power over a famous musician! (Take that, Selena Gomez.) Adding yet another level of customization, WTK fans can choose to play as either lead vocalist Travis, guitar player Hunter, bass player Drew or drummer Danny, and in either easy, medium or hard mode.

In terms of plot, the video is simple: We The Kings chose to employ the tried-and-true "there's a hot girl in distress and I have to save her" plot as they attempt to locate their kidnapped leading lady. The boys face a series of challenges, one of which is combating a super villain by throwing eggs and pies in his face. There's also some "Matrix"-style karate chopping and the opportunity for players to lock and load a virtual gun on the bad guys. Yikes, I'm becoming a gamer as we speak!

If the user wins and completes all the levels as all four members of We The Kings, they'll receive a free download and top billing on the leader board. BRB, writing a memo to every other band telling them to step their music video game up.
