Just try to make it through the new video from the late and lovely Amy Winehouse without getting all misty-eyed -- we know we sure can't. The first single off her posthumous Lioness: Hidden Treasures album, "Our Day Will Come" is a sweet and breezy, reggae-kissed track that blends beautifully with the video's heartstrings-tugging montage of archival footage and still photos. We get to see Amy strutting around town, getting goofy behind the scenes, painting on her trademark over-the-top eye makeup, touching up that wild beehive and, most important, working her original Winehouse magic onstage. Perfectly capturing her ragged glamour, vulnerability and old-soul vibe all at once, the video more than cements Amy's status as one of the greatest gifts to the music world in recent history.

"Our Day Will Come" is a cover of the 1963 doo-wop hit from Ruby & The Romantics, and with Amy sounding so triumphant on lines like "No one can tell me that I am too young," it's damn near heartbreaking.

Amy Winehouse's Lioness: Hidden Treasures hits stores Dec. 6.

There were a slew of standout moments at last night's AMAs: Taylor Swift took home Favorite Female Country Artist, Favorite Country Album and Artist Of The Year, Nicki Minaj scored Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Justin Bieber wore leopard pants and did the running man with LMFAO (true story). But perhaps one of the most memorable acts of the night was Katy Perry -- not only did she win a special achievement award for being the first female to have five No. 1 singles off the same album, but she also performed a gorgeous acoustic rendition of her midtempo ode to lost love, "The One That Got Away."

Instead of her usual rowdy stage productions consisting of whipped cream bras jumping and dancing, Katy chose to stand still for once take it down a notch for her emotional new song. As she took to the stage, Katy was surrounded by a flood of warm pink and purple lights. Her face was somber as she channeled the sadness felt by "Grandma Perry" in Katy's moving "The One That Got Away" video. Katy strummed her guitar -- props for being a pop star who plays an instrument, gurl -- and looked off longingly into the audience as she sang: "And in another life/I would make you stay/So I don't have to say/You were the one that got away."

Of course it wasn't all somber -- Katy Perry basically looked like a pink-haired Judy Jetson for the performance. Seriously, who else could be that convincingly emotional while decked in a pink space suit?

So, forgive me for gushing, but oh my God, you guys. The new Rihanna album. But no, like, seriously. It's everything.

Pop’s incipient queen of the universe and No. 1 hustler in the game is in rare form on Talk That Talk (out today!), taking the super-sexy party girl persona that emerged on Loud and taking it to a whole ‘nother level with some of the most delightfully filthy lyrics this side of Too Short. It doesn’t hurt that the production is unvaryingly on point, as hitmakers like Dr. Luke and Stargate shred your speakers with beats that literally got us pregnant (well, not literally), and top writers like Ri's go-to scribe Ester Dean and The-Dream busting out horned-up lyrics that would send us riding on a major LOLlercoaster if Rihanna didn't deliver them so convincingly.

In celebration of the continued sovereignty of That Rihanna Reign, here's our track-by-track guide to what you need to know about Talk That Talk:

You Da One -– Packing island swagger like "Rude Boy" or "What's My Name?" with a dissonant, sing-along chorus and a slimy dubstep break, "You Da One" is a smart choice for a second single, with lyrical genius Ester Dean and über-producer Dr. Luke delivering a hyper-current twist on the good, old-fashioned Bajan bangin' that the Bajan banger built her career making.

Where Have You Been -– We've never been hyperbolic before (actually, literally never), but it's probably safe to say that this is The Best Piece of Music Ever Recorded. The combined talents of Scottish DJ Calvin Harris and Dr. Luke bring in wistful, twangy guitars, a frantic gallop of a bassline, and sleazy grime breaks, making “Where Have You Been” the most compulsively replayable song on the album.

We Found Love –- Ri's 11th No. 1 single made "We found love in a hopeless place" the season's refrain most likely to be seen as your friend from high school's Facebook status, and with Calvin Harris' ravey instrumentation dominating the track, "We Found Love" cements her post as one of pop’s most innovative artists.

Talk That Talk -– It's only reasonable to expect that RiRi's first collab with Jay-Z since "Umbrella" would be massive, and the Stargate-produced "Talk That Talk" doesn't disappoint. Sultry and swaggerific, the title track sees Ri seductively counting on the chorus, while Jay-Z boasts about how "bitches wanna f*** me." (Ultimately, we doubt Beyoncé's too pressed about the competition.)

The great queen Beyoncé once told us that girls, they "run the world," and last night the AMAs were yet another example of this phenomenon. Taylor Swift took home Favorite Country Female Artist, Favorite Country Album and Artist Of The Year, Nicki Minaj nabbed Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Katy Perry scored a special achievement award for being the first female to have five No. 1 singles off the same album. Nice work, women!

Besides sweeping the whole award show, the ladies also found time to hang out, and thankfully a photographer captured their laugh session in THE CUTEST PHOTO OF ALL TIME!!!!! Taylor Swift and BFF Selena Gomez joined Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry backstage, and they managed to crack themselves up, probably thinking about all the kids that used to make fun of them in high school (best feeling ever). I could go on and on about how all of their dresses should be hanging in my closet right now, but that would take much longer than you have. Instead, we just want to congratulate the ladies one more time and officially decree to the men of the world: STEP YO GAME UP.

You might think that a dude who's signed to Red Bull Records might specialize in music made specifically for those 17-hour cleaning binges you find yourself on when the caffeine in your system is likely at medically unsound levels (i.e. "Nyan Cat" on a forever loop). But that's not the case with AWOLNATION. AWOLNATION may sound like an army, but it's really fronted by Aaron Bruno, formerly of Under The Influence Of Giants, Home Town Hero and Insurgence, and the result is a sonic free-for-all. His varied musical background allowed Bruno to reach across genres while experimenting with AWOLNATION, and the eclectic electro-pop results can be found on their debut album, Megalithic Symphony.

First, check out AWOLNATION's new video "Not Your Fault," where Aaron reminds us that any video featuring a claymation version of the artist can't not be liked. In the video, we see Aaron and his bandmates in various stages of distress -- dealing with an abominable snowman, a fire-breathing dragon and (duh) aliens -- while he reminds his cartoon girlfriend that he doesn't mean to yell at her: "Baby, when I'm yelling at you/It's not your fault, it's not your fault, and/Baby, 'cause I'm crazy for you/It's not your fault, it's not your fault, yeah." And just like that, it's happily ever after for all!

If you're trying to pick which playlist to put "Not Your Fault" on, congratulations -- that's exactly the effect Aaron was going for. As he told us in our interview, "It's really hard to describe what this record [Megalithic Symphony] sounds like, and I'm really proud that it's hard to describe." Mysteries and enigmas, man. We dig. Aaron also opens up about how happy he is about his fortuitous success: "The whole success of this band has been a pleasant surprise, and it was totally unexpected. I tend to expect the worst and hope for the best." To date, I'm pretty sure that motto has never let anyone down.

AWOLNATION's Megalithic Symphony is out now on Red Bull Records.

We know Justin Bieber was actually pulling the lever for the holiday lighting of the Empire State Building, but we know a lot of y'all are probs gonna be doing some serious Photoshop action to this. (I'm sorry but the hand gesture is LOL.) Shame on you, though! Dude's underage! Also, you're probably just jealous that he lit up the FREAKING EMPIRE STATE BUILDING. Rock. Star. Status.

While our big Christmas moment will be polishing off an entire jug of eggnog plugging in the meek string of lights on our Charlie Brown Christmas tree, the "Mistletoe" singer gets to yank the coveted lever at one of NYC's most famous buildings. This is the kind of influence you have on holiday traditions when you've recorded a super successful Christmas album -- you get to officially start the Christmas season. Santa, bro, sorry but you're old news now.

Listen, we get a lot of "media alerts" rolling through our in-boxes: "Alert: So-And-So is feeding ducks at XYZ Bookstore next Thursday, save the date," or "Joe Schmoe is ice-skating for ABC Charity, attempting a world record!" And usually we're like, "SNOOZE," "BORE," "YAWN." But when we heard "Toddlers & Tiaras" SUPERSTAR Eden Wood was going to be promoting empanadas RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from our offices, we were SOLD.

Unfortunately, we didn't get a performance of "Cutie Patootie," but I did get to take this photo with her!!!!! And I think it's safe to say you can CLEARLY see our shine. While some of you might say, "I'm pretty sure there's a Photoshop brush that does that," YOU'RE WRONG. What made us SPARKLE and DAZZLE is Eden. She is every bit the GRAND SUPREME in person as she is on TV, and I really feel like I've been walking on sunshine since I've met her just wee hours ago.

Also, WE GOT AUTOGRAPHS. If this isn't the signature of a superstar, then we don't know what is. To quote Taylor Swift, "I had the best day..."
