We never thought we’d see the day, but our favorite monochrome art punks tossed out their black jeans to wear some sweet primary-colored winter gear for the upcoming holiday episode of "Yo Gabba Gabba!" Gerard Way is even rocking red hair! (Who wore it better: Gerard or Rihanna? We’re kind of feeling Mr. Way.)
The band lightened up to perform "Every Snowflake Is Different (Just Like You)," an upbeat new jam about how everyone's special -– a message we can get behind no matter how many times we watch that mean "Fight Club" scene. (We don't care what Brad Pitt says; we're totally beautiful and unique, if not actually a snowflake.) My Chemical Romance gets an extra member for the performance: a blue-faced yeti that totally crushes his keyboard part. Will Bigfoot join MCR next? Will Gerard dye his hair green for St. Patrick's Day? Can we buy this song on iTunes already? So many questions!
The new video's out now, but the "A Very Awesome Christmas" episode of "Yo Gabba Gabba!" airs Sunday, Dec. 16, on Nick, Jr., and will also feature Tori Spelling, Mark Mothersbaugh, Tony Hawk, Leslie Hall and Cults. You know, in case you needed more reasons to tune in.
