Gearing up for the release of their sophomore EP, emo-pop foursome Before You Exit is treating us to a short, sweet and stripped-down sample of their new single "End Of The World." Though the performance lasts just 2 minutes, the band still manages to bring on complete cute overload (thanks in large part to their mile-wide smiles and general Muppety charm).
Shedding the slick and shiny sound of the song's original version, Before You Exit's acoustic rendition of "End Of The World" has guitarists Connor McDonough and Braiden Wood switching to acoustic axes while drummer Thomas Silvers brings the beat with one of those adorable egg-shaped shakers. As singer Riley McDonough belts his heart out, the rest of the boys join him for some high-as-the-sky harmonies at the song's sweetie-pie chorus (sample line: "Love me like it's the end of the world") and that super-catchy "na na na" refrain.
Hailing from Orlando -- hence their Disney World-referencing moniker -- Before You Exit dropped their debut EP Letting Go last spring. After touring in support of All Time Low and Rocket To The Moon, the band took the helm as headliners of the Next Big Thing Tour. Their as-yet-untitled follow-up to Letting Go is due out this March.
