Buzz Bites: Florence + The Machine’s ‘MTV Unplugged’ To Air April 8

+ Florence + The Machine‘s “MTV Unplugged” will air Sunday, April 8, on MTV. The show will include “Never Let Me Go,” a cover of Otis Redding’s “Try A Little Tenderness,” and more. Seven more “Unplugged” shows are scheduled for this year with Civil Wars on VH1 and Dierks Bentley on CMT. (Hollywood Reporter)

+ Speaking of Florence + The Machine, Florence Welch was tapped to write a song for the Snow White And The Huntsman soundtrack. The song “Breath of Life” was inspired by the Wicked Queen Ravenna. “The Queen is just this incredible character; so hungry for life but so dead inside,” Welch explained. (MTV News)
