Karmin nailed their O Music Awards live performance of ‘Brokenhearted’ at Sun Records.
Karmin‘s been a tad busy as of late. They joined The Flaming Lips in their attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records title for Most Live Concerts in a 24-hour period, they were nominated for an O Music Award and then they ACTUALLY WON the O Music Award for Best Web Born Artist (that’s a mouthful). In between all of that, Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan of Karmin popped by the legendary Sun Records in Memphis to deliver a sick performance of their smash “Brokenhearted.” DOES ANYONE NEED A NAP? Just wondering.

Armed with only their voices, Nick Noonan’s keyboard and one extra kid with a guitar (if we knew your name we’d use it, bro!) Karmin’s performance totally befit an OMA winner. Amy’s slick vocals and mad rapping skills were the main attraction (the reason you fell in love with them online in the first place), but let’s also take a second to give some quick props to the supertight three-part harmonies. Also, even if they sounded terrible (but when would that ever happen?), the entire group gets 100 extra bonus points because Amy’s signature hair poof was seriously on point. Like, we’re talking sky-high volume here, my friends.
