The Spice Girls honor their native country by performing at the London 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony!

OK, so, when we found out that one of the biggest, greatest, best pop groups of all time, the Spice Girls, were (kinda) reuniting last month for their “Viva Forever” musical, we hardly kept it together. JUST TRYING TO KEEP OUR COMPOSURE PEOPLE. Here is what we know so far. The girls are slated to perform two songs at the already loaded London 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony, which includes The Who, George Michael and Jessie J to name a few. So far, the Olympics are the only stop for the British supergroup, but we are SERIOUSLY keeping our fingers crossed that the girls decide to go on a worldwide tour. And we can go to every stop in the U.S., and maybe become their besties, developing a true friendship over our precious shared moments on the road. (OK, too much. Dialing it back.) Needless to say, we’re so ready for this!
