New Song: Mariah Carey Featuring Rick Ross And Meek Mill, ‘Triumphant (Get ‘Em)’

Mariah Carey has finally unveiled the full version of “Triumphant (Get ‘Em).”

We told you that Mariah Carey‘s been a tease lately, tweeting photos from the set of her “Triumphant (Get ‘Em) video, revealing the cover art for “Triumphant (Get ‘Em),” talking about “Triumphant (Get ‘Em),” but never actually LETTING US HEAR “Triumphant (Get ‘Em).” That is until now, of course, because Mariah has officially unleashed her new tune to the world.

Mariah’s Meek Mill- and Rick Ross-assisted “Triumphant (Get ‘Em)” is a laid-back R&B/pop song that earns its street cred via strong verses from both rappers. Though the song has a strong hook and will undoubtedly tear up the charts, we can’t help but think that Mariah is holding back a little in the vocal department. (Though, in all fairness, I’m sure she is busy with Dem Babies.) As is evident by what I confessed here, I am a giant Mariah Stan, so it pains me not to hear her really wail and use those incredible pipes. That being said, it’s clear the song’s message is close to Mariah’s heart, so that wins her some extra points. We’re just hoping that she doesn’t stay this quiet on her entire album! Just sing, honey!!! You’re basically better than everyone out there! It never hurts to hear a reminder.
