Rihanna is all “GO USA,” as she poses with the U.S. Olympic Gymnasts.
Normally, we’d say that getting to pose with Rihanna is THE best moment of your life, right? But, when you’re the U.S. Olympic Women’s Gymnastics team and have already won a gold medal, we’re not sure this theory still stands, you know? It’s the Olympics. THE OLYMPICS!
Jordyn Wieber, Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Kyla Ross and McKayla Maroney, otherwise known as the Fierce Five (also known as those girls who had you shouting and crying at your TV during gravity-defying vault routines), were presenters at last night’s 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, which meant they got to chill with super-famous peeps like Rihanna. Meanwhile, Rihanna was already enjoying a huge night of her own, what with nailing her A$AP Rocky-assisted performance of “Cockiness” and “We Found Love,” and winning the VMA for “Video Of The Year.” However, and we mean NO disrespect to Rihanna’s stellar delivery, we’d venture to say that it was Rihanna’s chance to chat with the Fierce Five, which may have been the highlight of her night! Sure, there’s always the possibility that touching Katy Perry’s leg was a key moment for Rihanna, and while it’s SO INCREDIBLE THAT SHE GETS TO DO THAT, we still think posing with IRL gold medalists is probably the winner. Get it? Winner? Like the U.S. Women’s Gymnastics team at the Olympics? OK, OK, too much.
