Iggy Azalea’s SO pumped to be nominated for the Artist to Watch VMA.
Hey, gang! in case you didn’t get the memo, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea got nominated for the Artist to Watch category at the 2013 Video Music Awards!!!! Her year spent making us “Bounce,” “Work,” and shake our — OH WAIT, we can’t $$ay that here — is finally getting the recognition it deserves, and she is beyond jazzed, beyond overjoyed, beyond… well, she’s just straight-up BEYOND in her reaction video below.
Watch Iggy Azalea’s reaction to her VMA nomination after the jump.
In this clip, recorded in the back of what looks to be a supa glam limo that probably contains a mini hot tub and chandelier-lit twerk stage juuuust out of frame, the Ignorant Art-ist can hardly CONTAIN herself.
“Hey MTV! I just want to say thank you so much for my VMAs nomination!!” said the “Work” singer. “I’m really, really, ridiculously, geekishly excited.” Ridiculously, geekishly excited?” Iggy, if you’re the face of ridiculous geekishness, then where do the REST of us fall? Somewhere right around “Buffoonish Pariah” status? We’ll settle this later. In the meantime, check out the artist’s four reaction tweets to the news — because 140 characters weren’t enough to contain all this adorably ridiculous geekishness.

Lame? Pshh. WELL-DESERVED, we think you mean. Hey y’all, how about a round of applause — no, WAIT! A round of ponytail-raising for the “Bounce” rapper’s Artist to Watch nom!
Definitely more fitting.
