+ Janelle Monáe revealed the power-packed track list for The Electric Lady (out Sept. 10) along with the cover art. The album includes guest features from Prince, Solange, Miguel, Erykah Badu, Cee Lo Green, Big Boi, and Esperanza Spalding. (Pitchfork)

+ Lady Gaga released an ARTPOP promo clip (or possibly an “Applause” music video teaser?) in which she beats haters to the punch, reverse-psychology style. Messages like “Lady Gaga is no longer relevant” flash beneath her as she stares into the camera in a plastic face mask. (Rolling Stone)
