Hayley Williams talks about her love for TLC.

Paramore’s Hayley Williams stans REALLY hard for TLC.

#TrueFact No. 2,183: Lady musicians admire other lady musicians. And Paramore‘s Hayley Williams, aka one of the raddest-ever lady musicians, is no different! In fact, Hayley even sat down with us recently to talk about the female artists she grew up admiring in the ’90s, namely TLC, the subject of VH1′s upcoming biopic, “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story.”

Find out what Hayley Williams’ favorite TLC song and video are after the jump.

Expressing her excitement for VH1′s upcoming biopic, Hayley name-dropped her favorite TLC song and video: “My favorite song is “Creep,” [and] my favorite video is “Unpretty.”

Later, Hayley went on to elaborate on what made T-Boz, Chilli, and Left Eye her idols, and how their girl-power ethos influenced her and the ’90s pop music scene at large. “I love how [TLC] dressed, I love how different they were, and how they stood for things. They were so empowering.”

“In the ’90s there were a lot of really rad chicks in pop music. Especially in R&B. I loved Aaliyah, I loved Missy Elliott, I liked women that went against the grain, and I think TLC did that so well. You wanted to be best friends with them.”

BUT. The question remains: Can Hayley do the “Waterfalls” dance? “Oh my God, I don’t know if you wanna see that in my kitten heels and leather pants!!” exclaimed Hayley. Um, no, Hayley. We ABSOLUTELY want to see that. Nothing would make us happier than that. (Except for some TLC karaoke. We’re not picky.)
