Here's Drake's 27th birthday cake! And... we're at a loss for words.
Today is Drake's 27th birthday! And how did Drizzy celebrate? Well, while we're sure that no new friends were invited to his birthday party (we threw our own celebration here, thank you very much), we ARE sure that we want to know the entire thought process behind this completely whackadoodles, Toronto skyline-inspired birthday cake. Aside from the fact that we want to eat this immediately, we're kind of at a loss for words.
The cake, which Champagne Papi shared on his Instagram today, is, as we said, a replica of Toronto, complete with a structurally unsound-looking CN Tower, a shout-out to Habibiz Cafe (one of Drake's favorite Middle Eastern restaurants, we're guessing), a Shoppers Drug Mart (the store where Drake used to work that turned up in his "Started From the Bottom" video), and a Starbucks. Y'know, in case he runs out of energy trying to finish this massive, condensed sugar bomb.
But really, where to start with this baker's monstrosity?? For one thing, that CN tower looks like it's about to topple over, there's a friggin' bowl of fruit hanging out in the background (?!?), that apartment building-looking thing looks like it was made out of clay, and generally we're pretty sure Robin Thicke dressed as Beetlejuice is gonna rise up outta that Toronto town model any minute to say "IT'S SHOWTIME."
All that said, we'd still be more than happy to help Drake have his cake and eat it too. AND wash it down with a Grammy cup full of milk. (Despite its Play-Doh appearance, I'm sure that town model tastes delicious.)
