Lol, it looks like the Britney wig is LITERALLY burning Em’s scalp.
But all this high praise from reviewers and critics and talk of an anti-gay controversy — not mention the title of the record itself — are giving us a major Y2K throwback moment! Why, it just makes us wanna pick up a gel pen and jot down our feelings of 2000s-era love before the computers come to destroy us all.
Thankfully, we’re not alone in our nostalgia jones, as MTV has uncovered an amazing “Making The Video” clip where we see Eminem put together his iconic “The Real Slim Shady” video — specifically the part where he gets transformed into Ms. Britney Spears through the power of wigs and lip liner. YUSS.

Amid many bouts of screaming, Eminem finally begins to resemble the “Perfume” singer. (Sidebar: Were his cosmetics made of sulfuric acid or something?! We were gonna try to give him the benefit of the doubt that he got, like, eyelash glue in his eyes, but damn, dude… SUCK IT UP!)
But still, you’ve gotta applaud the “Beautiful Pain” rapper for his level of commitment to the clip. Like, he wore a full
head wig-to-toe “…Baby One More Time“-style schoolgirl ensemble just to take that cutaway Britney gag to the highest possible level of comedy that he could! Man, he wasn’t kidding when he told MTV News’ Sway that he’s “a little nuts” in a recent interview.
Well, actually he was revealing why he hooked up with Rihanna on “The Monster,” their second duet after 2010’s “Love The Way You Lie.” “I think people look at us both like we’re a little — a little nuts, you know?” Em explains. “And that’s one of the things I was telling her in, uh, in making the record… I think that people look at us a little crazy.” Let ’em look, Em. They just want to get a good look at the resident Rap God! #BowDown
