We're not gonna write Sara Bareilles a love song...but we are going to congratulate her on a job well done. We just finished watching her newest must-see video, "Bottle It Up," and we have to say: we thoroughly enjoyed it. From the belted, green empire dress (very Anne Hathaway in Devil Wears Prada) to the sultry voice that calls to mind another Sarah (i.e. "Adia" singer Sarah McLaughlin) to the mysterious piano-in-the-middle-of-nowhere trick ((See: Every Music Video By Vanessa Carlton) Bareilles proves she's a triple-threat: singer, piano-player, and fashionista-in-training. Worst of all? She's also a total sweetheart. Sigh. You know, if we didn't already like her so much, we'd totally have to hate her.
Anne Hathaway, whose pretty punim we'll be seeing in the new movie Becoming Jane, had a lot to say when she stopped by TRL today. Like... the one movie she can watch over and over again? Pretty Woman. The website she checks daily? PerezHilton.com. The one food she can't give up, even when she's on a diet? Bread, despite the fact that people think you have to give up carbs to lose weight. "I like the jiggle that bread gives me," she says. You go, girl!
