If you just judged her on her admittedly fabulous videos, you might take Brit electro-pixie La Roux as some sort of neo-Bjork, post-modern chanteuse from the future. But, really, she's a regular ol' around the way girl (the "way" being London, in this case). Elly Jackson--who performs as La Roux with partner Alex Stewart--is a pretty normal lady; she likes David Bowie, cooking, thinking about fashion and patterns (something on display in her "Bulletproof" clip) and enjoys vintage jewelry.

In this edition of "The 5" Jackson talks about all those things and more. Be sure to check out her live performance of "Bulletproof" from It's On With Alexa Chung.

Now that the "katze" is out of the bag about Tokio Hotel's new album -- it'll be out October 2nd, and it's called Humanoid, I'm already fantasizing not just about the songs (because that's for about 292939 other posts) but about the album cover, photography, and cover art.

With a sci-fi-inspired name like Humanoid, I'm pulling for a cover that combines robotic-like elements of Janet Jackson's Discipline album cover and "Feedback" single art, both of which were photographed by Singapore fashion photographers Chuando + Frey.

The name Humanoid immediately strikes a Bjork-esque chord (hopefully in the good way), so I'd love to see Tokio Hotel do a sci-fi future/fashion cover along the lines of the cover of Bjork's 1997 Homogenic album, which was art directed by Alexander McQueen himself and photographed by Nick Knight. (Homoogenic always feels a little Handmaid's Tale-ish to me.)

Of course, Bill, Tom, Gustav, and Georg will give the album cover their own special je ne sais quoi to Humanoid, but if they employed the assistance or inspiration of any of the aforementioned -- or Daniel Jackson, who shot their H&M Fashion Against AIDS t-shirt photos -- I wouldn't be mad at 'em.

Finally, some good news out of Tokio Hotel base camp! Tokio Hotel's LOOOOOOOOONG-awaited next album titled was revealed, AND we have a release date!

Tokio Hotel's next album will be called HUMANOID (it's not necessarily in all caps -- I just got really excited) and it'll be released October 2. I hope. Which means they should just go ahead and officially change the name of month of "October" to ROCTOBER! Or better yet, RAWKTOBER! Also, that title is SO Bjork. I cannot WAIT to see the album art. I hope it's super futuro.

The Humanoid update came via Tom Kaulitz's blog, so thank Tom for the update!

Also, the guy who attacked Gustav in a bar turned himself in. GOOD! Grrr!

Your idea of summer music is less booty jams and bikinis and more sitting in your AC-ed, shag-carpeted bedroom making mixes on your iMac? There's an "MTV Unplugged" for that.

After Adele reindoctrinated the heritage MTV live performance series, Silversun Pickups brought the fuzzy, foggy, hazy sound of Silverlake summer heat to "MTV Unplugged," for you stay-indoors-and-listen-to-indie-rock types.

Watch their six-song "MTV Unplugged" set, including "Well Thought Out Twinkles," "Panic Switch," "Lazy Eye," "Catch and Release," "Kissing Families" and "Getting Old Is Growing Old," off Carnavas and their 2009 album, Swoon.

+ After the jump, watch Silversun Pickup talk Bjork and Oasis...

+ Forget about Skipper or Teenage Prom Maxi. Who needs those shallow plastics when you can have your very own PLUS-size Beth Ditto doll complete with Victoria Principal bob and blue eyeshadow?! (The Frisky)

+ Lady GaGa's "Lovegame" video has been out for a while, but here's some pretty cool behind-the-scenes footage from the set. (Towleroad)

+ Yesterday, it was the girl from the "Thriller" video claiming she's owed royalties. Today, it's his old publicist. How many hundreds upon thousands of people will continue to sue ole frail-n-pale Michael Jackson before SOMEone, ANYone realizes that he DOESN'T. HAVE. ANY. MONEY?!?! (MTV News)

+ Solange Knowles has been tagging along with sister Beyonce on her I Am tour, singing at special afterparties and the like. Here she covers (perfectly and uniquely) Bjork's "It's Oh So Quiet." (Neon Limelight)

+ In case you're wondering what Katy Perry would look like as a midge, here you go! (Best Week Ever)

+ As cheesy as she may be, you have to give Paula Abdul some credit for turning it out on last night's American Idol. She was a'jumpin' and a'flippin' and a'whippin' that mic stand around like a rag doll, all while in 5" heels. Our favorite part was when she gets flipped over that guy like when Britney goes flying through the air in "Oops...I Did It Again." You know the part? You know the part. (Pop On The Pop)

+ Thursday LOLz courtesy of your favorite pint-sized rapper Lil Kim, who danced up on Regis Philbin during yesterday's Live With Regis And Kelly. (Rap-Up)

These days, everyone who's anyone is partying over in the Twitterverse (bonus -- you don't even have to leave your couch!), and celebs are no exception. Also, if you don't know what Twitter is, a.) Seriously?!, and b.) Watch this.

Anyway, we here at Buzzworthy love Twitter because, well, we Tweet! But also, we love Twitter because the sheer entertainment value of following your favorite celeb CANNOT be overlooked. We've laughed, we've cried, we've poked our eyes out (after reading John Mayer's penis-falling-asleep Tweet) and attempted to set our keyboards on fire (ENERGY!). But we always come back for more.

So, herewith is our roundup of our favorite, must-follow celebrities who Twitter.

CLASS A CRAZIES: This group includes the "must-follows" -- the celebrities whose Tweets are so friggin' BANOODLES you simply cannot miss them.
+ Diddy (@iamdiddy) -- If you follow NO ONE else on this list, please, please, please follow Diddy. (LET'S GO, PEOPLE!)
+ MC Hammer (@MCHammer) -- Apparently he was hiding an early adopter in those glittery Hammer pants!
+ Shaqille O'Neill (@THE_REAL_SHAQ) -- Shaq lives in Twitteronia.
+ Snoop Dogg (@snoopdogg) -- His "izzle" talk just slays me every time. Occassionally Tweets while toking.
+ Steve Buscemi (@steve_buscemi) -- He hates penguins!
+ Solange Knowles (@solangeknowles) -- Love Solange, but when is she NOT Twittering. I think she's the sole reason Twitter keeps crashing.
+ Xzibit (@mrxtothaz)
+ Ryan Seacrest (@RyanSeacrest) -- Dude Tweets DURING COMMERCIAL BREAKS of American Idol! HOW IS THAT EVEN ALLOWED?
+ Lily Allen (@lilyroseallen) -- Lily still kinda hates Perez Hilton, and they are FOREVER back-and-forthing forever on Twitter.
+ Heidi Montag (@montagheidi) -- I swear to the Lord, you will S--T when you see how many of Heidi's Tweets are about Jesus!
+ Spencer Pratt (@prattspencer) -- Sometimes he's on the Bible train too, and he once even compared himself to Jesus. Epic.

FAMOUS BUT KINDA BORING: This group is dependable though almost never shocking. But they're all famous, so they've usually got somewhat interesting things to say. Just don't expect ALL CAPS Diddy rants or Lily Allen vs. Perez Hilton feuds):
+ Britney Spears (@britneyspears) -- Sometimes Britney's team posts for her, but this is still a good one.
+ Selena Gomez (@selenagomez) -- Yay, Selena!
+ Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) -- Demi and Selena leave each other little Twitter notes. 'Scute!
+ Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) -- W00t Taylor! Predictably, Taylor Swift's Tweets are sweet.
+ Dave Matthews (@davejmatthews)
+ Soulja Boy Tell 'Em (@souljaboytellem) -- Mostly Soulja wants you to click on shiz for him and make him more famous. Soulja Boy also Tweets his beef with 50 Cent. (That was one of the weirdest sentences I've ever typed.)
+ Dave Navarro (@davenavarro6767) -- Tweets about being bored and playing video games. Fair enough, we say!
+ John Mayer (@johncmayer) -- He's become a bit of a mad Twitterer lately, and I'm actually a little tempted to move him to the above category. He once Tweeted about his penis falling asleep.
+ Sara Bareilles (@SaraBareilles) -- Sara Bareilles really needs to Twitter more.
+ Mark Hoppus (@markhoppus) -- He's been Tweeting about blink's new album a lot.
+ A Cursive Memory (@acursivememory) -- They really need to Tweet more.
+ Simon Curtis (@simoncurtis) -- Yay! We LOVE Simon Curtis! Posts fun pix of his trips.
+ Regina Spektor (@reginaspektor)
+ Liam Gallagher (@liamgallagher) -- Surprisingly, this feed is not so crazy. Bummer.
+ LeAnn Rimes (@leannrimes)
+ DJ AM (@DJ_AM)
+ REM (@remhq)
+ Duran Duran (@duranduran) -- Yes, they ARE still around!
+ Nick Cannon (@nickcannon4real) -- Mr. Mariah Carey is livin' large in the Twitterverse too.
+ William Beckett (@billbeckett)
+ Bjork (@bjork) -- Hers are crappy, unfortunately.
+ Four Year Strong (@fys)
+ Janelle Monae (@janellemonae)
+ Katy Perry (@katyperry) -- More exciting IRL than on Twitter. Oh wells.
+ Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) -- Ditto. Lady Gaga's Twitter sorta reeks of label Tweeting.
+ Ingrid Michaelson (@ingridmusic) -- Hers are cool and make me wanna hang out with her even more than I already do.
+ Cinema Bizarre (@cinemabizarre) -- Lady Gaga's German tourmates are also Twittering!

More celebrities on Twitter after the jump!

+ American Idol rewind! MTV's resident recapper, Jim Cantiello, recounts the best moments of '08. (MTV News)

Made -- MTV's Emmy Award-winning makeover-with-a-soul show, just celebrated its 100th episode, which means it's about 100 times more successful than Emily's Reasons Why Not (killed after just one episode) and only slightly less successful than Cheers.

And it's not hard to see why -- as much as we love to watch tomboys teetering awkwardly in their first pair of heels and hopeless geeks with even less athletic abilities than ourselves, we (and probably you too) have gotten choked up more times than we'd like to admit by watching determined underdogs prevail in the face of haters (right, Amanda from The Paper?)

But the one amazing transformation we've never seen on Made? Gender reassignment! Come on, Made! There's gotta be some girl out there who doesn't want to wear a bra anymore! And, believe it or not, we dug around in the MTV video vault and found a video buried in the WTF File that perfect embraces this sentiment: it's Japanese pop star Utada's clip, earnestly entitled, "You Make Me Want to Be a Man."

Look her up -- we'd never heard of her either, but she's sold a trillion albums, and her life story reads like the combined plots of an entire day's worth of Lifetime movies. Watch her bizarre Bjork-of-Japan video below, and check out Made's 100th episode special and Buzzworthy's all-time favorite Made-ee.
