Now Deurlo returns with another video for another catchy slice of R&B-kissed pop, "In My Head." Produced by the Midas-like J.R. Rotem, "In My Head" finds Deurlo crooning over a rockier sound (think Black Eyed Peas' "I Got A Feeling" levels of rock here).
While the song seems to follow Derulo's frank, honest approach to a girl in a club, the video's action takes place in what seems like the nicest convenience store parking lot I've ever seen.
"In My Head" is the second single from Derulo's self-titled debut album, due out this March.
Saddest day. Last episode of It's On With Alexa Chung. Worst news. Here's what Alexa wore on her last episode of It's On With Alexa Chung, with All Time Low and Snookie from Jersey Shore. (Having Snookie on your last show is either a total coup or total bummer. I'm not sure which.)
... Or... check out this Marc By Marc Jacobs heart-covered (HEART-a-dotted?) velvet dress. It's $328 at Bloomingdales.com. (And I love it.)
Okay. I'm sad to see Alexa go off the MTV airwaves, but I'm sure she's off to do big things. By all means, do come back to the MTV Buzzworthy Blog for more stylish things, okay?
How better to kiss Jesse McCartney under the mistletoe than in a gorgeous Burberry feather- and ruffle-inspired dress? Here's what Alexa Chung wore on her show today!
Tuesday, December 15 + Dress: Burberry + Shoes: Marni
Check out these two takes on textured grey dresses, for 'tis the season! Left: A sweet metallic tulip dress by Rare. It's $98 at Topshop.com. Right: A slightly more complicated lace variation for $35 at desireclothing.co.uk.
'Tis the season for... dancing like the stars and burning the floor and whatnot. Which is exactly what happened on It's On With Alexa Chung, with guests Kate Hudson and Robin Thicke.
Alexa's star dress is bygone-era Topshop, but check out two holiday-ready star dresses you can get right now (and should!).
Dressed like a glammed-up biker gang reject, Ke$ha, with bass player, DJ and backup-singer/dancer in tow, performed her cut, "Tik Tok." With an American flag hanging in the background she hopped, rapped and sang her way through her hangover anthem.
Sadly, there was no Diddy appearance (the Bad Boy lends his heavy rhyme experience to the recorded version of the song). Would've been great to have seen his reaction to the side-hawk-rocking backup singer.
Ke$ha's Animal album is due out in January and you can catch her on the Lilith Fair this summer.
Check out this exclusive "The 5" interview with Nick Jonas, and find out more about Nick Jonas & The Administration before Nick's debut solo CD, Who I Am -- featuring "Rose Garden," "Stronger," "Conspiracy Theory," "In The End," "Last Time Around," and more, drops on February 2, 2010.
Presidents have to be ready for anything at any time. And Nick Jonas, as any Jonas fan worth their weight in Jonas tees knows, has a fascination with the presidency: his Jonas code name is Mr. President, and his brand-new side-project band is even called Nick Jonas & The Administration -- his debut solo album, Who I Am, drops February 2, 2010.
So, clearly, Nick Jonas drew upon his presidential readiness -- as well as his baseball obsession and experience (Go Road Dogs!) -- when Alexa Chung threw him a curveball and asked him to throw a couple fastballs on today's episode of It's On With Alexa Chung.
Check out this photographic play-by-play of Nick Jonas slamming some baseballs on It's On With Alexa Chung on MTV, and watch the video too!
Nick Jonas processes the offer to throw baseballs as hard as humanly possibly on national TV, possibly reconsiders?
Nick Jonas decides to go for it...
... But takes off his presidentially, resplendently sartorial blazer first.
Here comes the wind-up...

HUGE day today on It's On With Alexa Chung -- Nick JONAS was here and DOMINATED the show, demonstrating his baseball skills, sharing a new song by Nick Jonas & The Administration and his affinity for man purses, and engaging in a battle with Kim and Khloe Kardashian!
We'll have video of Nick Jonas' baseball practice and the Kardashian-Off, but first, here's what hostess Alexa Chung wore on her show.
On today's episode of It's On With Alexa, Alexa had on Gossip and unearthed rare, back-in-the-day footage of guest Jason Bateman. And what did she wear while she did it?
Obsessively blogging about pop music, pop videos, pop stars, and pop culture from inside the MTV headquarters in Times Square. We also have a slight Jonas Brothers problem. And a little fixation with Tokio Hotel.
