Skillet has been all over radar here at Buzzworthy HQ. We wrote up their (literally) breakout video -- the escape-themed "Monster" -- for being awesome a couple of weeks ago. Then we followed up by asking them to tell us "The 5" things we didn't know about them. And they complied. Now, we get these stunning Skillet photos to ponder. It's an embarrassment of MTV Skillet-related riches.
Check out these exclusive MTV of John Cooper and his gang of hard-rocking monsters. Skillet's album, Awake, is in stores now, and their Awake & Alive tour. Check for dates at their Myspace.

The most interesting thing to be learned about Christofer Drew, aka Never Shout Never, is not one of the points he mentions in his interview on "The 5."
Sure, it's cool to know that he's a vegan who grew up in the Midwest. Definitely sweet to hear him tell the thrilling story of going very quickly from touring alone in a car packed with merch, to having his own sleeping compartment on an air-conditioned bus. And yes, it's fascinating to ponder the fact that Drew -- an animal lover -- has two cats and two dogs, but none of them live with him.
But the most interesting thing about each of Drew's five fun facts, is the humble way in which he describes them. This dude is 19, and he's a bona fide Internet sensation. Nobody who isn't taking off their clothes gets more attention on MySpace. He has every reason to be a raving egomaniac.
On the other hand, given the quirkiness of his music, he also has license to be a spaced-out weirdo. How many other bands on the Bamboozle Roadshow play the ukulele? Try zero. Is Christofer Drew just flying a freak flag to rake in as much attention as he can get?
Nope. Guess what? Christofer Drew is just a nice, normal dude who happens to be extraordinarily talented, and wants you to listen to his music. That's it. He's not trying to be a millionaire or a tabloid icon or a contestant on the next season of Knitting With The Stars or freaking out over dry shampoo. All he wants to do is spread a little happiness the best way he knows how. By writing a song every day.
Here he is, Christofer Drew.

Aww. Doesn't Taking Back Sunday look like one big happy family in these brand-new exclusive MTV photos? And can you BELIEVE the wingspan on Mark O'Connell? Impressive! And doesn't Adam Lazzara seem like a proud, doting dad, just gazing into Matt's eyes like that? Can you handle all that sweetness? More importantly, can you handle the wait for New Again? (You're doing great! Not even a week left! It's out June 2nd! Patience is a virtue!) Can you handle more photos of Adam and his perfect hair? Because seriously, you guys had a lot of questions for Adam about his hair... Like a lot.
+ After the jump, check out brand-new MTV photos of Taking Back Sunday, watch their exclusive Buzzworthy fan Q&A interview (ANSWERED: Your questions about Adam's hair!), and see why Matt Rubano's position on prom is firmly thanks-but-no-thanks.

I'll be the first to admit that I look totally effing constipated in the following video. I will also be the first to admit that coordination + remembering dance steps = not my strongest suit, plus I was NERVIOSA to have Honor Society teach me their signature dance (it happens to go perfectly to "See You In The Dark") in the MTV photo studio, which we quickly turned into a makeshift dance studio after they finished their photo shoot.
But I swallowed my pride and took one for the team -- the team being YOU -- and agreed to go on camera and let Honor Society show me how to do the Honor Roll. The guys were sewp-er cool about me being a total rook, and Michael Bruno was a really patient impromptu dance instructor and totally didn't bust me when I screwed up oh, say, 89% of it. I did master the "serving your face" part, so at least there's that. I still don't have the Honor Roll completely down (the jump-cross part IS HARD!), but maybe you'll do a better job than I did. What am I talking about? You're an Honor Roll pro. You can do it in the dark, while eating Pinkberry. You win.

Christofer Drew, aka Never Shout Never, posted a new photo to his MySpace yesterday afternoon. That's less than 24 hours ago. At last count, the photo had accumulated 3,084 comments (I've had to go back and adjust that number three times since I started writing because it keeps going up). That's just plain mental.
In the photo, Drew stands barefoot on a stool, in a nautical tank top, with his decorated wings spread. He has a peace symbol tattooed on his left foot, but you already knew that. You know because Christofer Drew is a big deal. His Internet popularity is off the charts -- the 283,867 friends and 18,659,515 profile views he's amassed on MySpace have put him among the most buzzed-about bands of 2009. Oh, and his heart-breakingly charming songs don't hurt, either.
What you may not know, is that the MySpace photo that's generating all the comments came from an exclusive MTV shoot with our buddy Brian Appio. Something tells me you might be interested in seeing the rest of the set... Am I right? Why don't you go ahead and do that, and wash it down with a viewing of "Bigcitycreams" below!

Maxwell Drummey and D.A. Wallach -- AKA Chester French of "She Loves Everybody"/"Jimmy Choos," Pharrell, Kanye and Harvard fame -- shared their prom memories, and they're simultaneously the funniest and most depressingly unromantic prom tales probably in the entire history of prom-going.
With Chester French's prom tales, you get and unambiguous mix of:
+ Total and inexplicable nudity
+ A discussion of the economics of prom
+ An As Hard As They Come reference
+ Pinch-hitting for psycho boyfriends
+ Bow ties
+ Various Rachels
... Plus confusion on absolute grandiose levels, Abba, and ODB. In sum, Taking Back Sunday's Matt Rubano, who referred to the magical night as a "crapfest," and Chester French -- Maxwell Drummey especially, agreed.

Aww. Just wook at Hollywood Undead! Don't they just look like a modern-day Brady Brunch? Like a totally dysfunctional, all-guy, Brady Bunch with a penchant for 40s, fast food and, occasionally, crime? Adorbs! Also, it's prom time here at Buzzworthy, and seriously, what says prom better than six guys in scary masks?
Check out 17 exclusive MTV photos of Hollywood Undead, shot by photograph Brian Appio. And watch part 1 of Hollywood Undead's Buzzworthy interview to find out why, if you're a girl, you should just stop fantasizing about joining the group. Unless you've got childcare options open to you.

And, of course, watch Hollywood Undead's new video, "Young."

As you may recall, Tuesday's Buzz Bites included this item: Gavin Rossdale, who continues to be inexplicably, unmanageably studly, has just released a solo video that uses the oldest trick in the book to up his man-babe factor. It stars his and Gwen Stefani’s 2-year-old son Kingston. Well, that wasn't quite true.
It turns out, first of all, that Gavin Rossdale's studliness needs no upping. The ex-Bush beefcake is topless for half of the video in question, and he's in better shape than most sculptures. Secondly, Kingston is hardly a star, but he does flash his smushy, sweet little celebaby face at the 2:23 mark.
Now, on to the business at hand: Gavin Rossdale's "Forever May You Run" video is awesome on a variety of levels. For one thing, It includes excessive running, and dude kiiinda runs like Steven Seagal. No offense Gavin. You look great.
Next, Gavin's new video incorporates themes from all of your favorite movies. It opens with an angry Jerry Maguire-ish corporate walk-out, fades into a Forrest Gump running montage, which gives way to a dangerous Lord Of The Rings mountain scenario and culminates in a Hillside Singers-style '70s Coke commercial (which is sort of like a movie).
The song itself is classic Brit-rock. Soft sentimental verses lead into anthemic choruses, which in turn erupt into thumping minor-chord bridges with off-kilter tempos and searing, reverbed guitar solos. Think Snow Patrol + Oasis / U2, only topless, ripped, and sprinting through a busy intersection. Got it? Good. Now watch.

In the photo above, it's pretty clear that Kid Cudi is imitating the facial expression on his Jesus necklace. Is it possible that the Kanye West protegé is already elevating his self image into messianic territories? Hip-hop already has one Jesus! And he just so happens to be the same guy who pulled Kid Cudi up from obscurity. Is Kid Cudi declaring himself Jesus' hip-hop son?? Hmm... Probably not.
What Kid Cudi definitely is doing is dropping by MTV for an exclusive photo shoot. With the weather getting nicer every day, we're getting closer and closer to the summer release of Kid Cudi's full-length debut, Man On The Moon: The Guardians. All this new sunshine also makes the big beat behind "Day N Nite" sound better by the minute.
Take a look at our exclusive set of new photos of the man with the microphone on his arm before revisiting the incredible "Day N Nite" video, after the jump. Summer is almost here!!!
