The 2009 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show went down in New York City last night, and in case you're not familiar with the year event don't get it twisted -- the pieces modeled by famous hoofers like Heidi Klum, Miranda Kerr, Marissa Miller, and Chanel Iman aren't the stuff of Victoria's Secret mall locations. These ladies aren't showing off the polka-dotted cotton undies you stock up on at your location VS.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which will air on CBS on December 1, is always an over-the-top celebration of gaudy glitz and glam and beyond-perfect bodies. And the annual show is a guaranteed celeb draw -- Jay-Z, Russell Simmons, Jay Sean, Keri Hilson, the Kings Of Leon, Patricia Field, Zac Posen and Christian Siriano were in attendance this year -- but this year, the show's "Star Trooper" collection seemed to have stolen its style, or at least heavily borrowed some inspiration from Lady Gaga and the Haus of Gaga. Observe, won't you?

Selita Ebanks wears a gold-spiked white bustier that looks an awful lot like the gold-spiked dress Lady Gaga wore to the Y100 Jingle Ball in December 2008. And that white bustier leotard looks just like Gaga's outfit in Beyonce's "Video Phone" video.

Hm. This bubble dress SURE looks familiar...

The Pièce de résistance!!! Gaga's Nasir Mazhar orb outfit from the "Bad Romance" video is reinvented on the Victoria's Secret catwalk!

Just two nights after the 2009 MTV VMAs, which was like fashion week crammed into a single night (in addition to Lady Gaga's one-woman fashion show) we indulged in some New York Fashion Week craziness at the G-Star Raw Spring 2010 show at Hammerstein Ballroom.

G-Star shows are always big on theatrics -- Benicio del Toro recited Joy Divison at a G-Star show in 2009, and Dennis Hopper's also appeared in a G-Star show.

While this year's show didn't star a celebrity on the catwalk, stars like Lindsay Lohan, Taylor Momsen, Asher Book, Corbin Bleu, Christian Siriano, Eric Balfour, Tyson Beckford, Kat Von D, Gabe Saporta, Kara DioGuardi, Peaches Geldof, Jared Leto and Juliette Lewis surrounded the runway as G-Star presented a very retro-futuro rock-n-resort collection to David Bowie's "Rebel Rebel."

Obviously you should plan on getting ALL of the shoes and handbags, but if you only get one pair, I highly suggest your foot finds its way into Christian's "Slither" booties. They're a gorgeous, luminescent pair of teal, hieroglyphic-printed ankle boots with a hidden platform, stacked atop a cone heel -- a design homage to the Egyptian pyramids.

Today's episode of It's On With Alexa Chung featured EXTRAORDINARILY fashion-forward guests Whitney Port, Olivia Palermo, AND Christian Siriano. Um, no pressure or anything. As usual though, Alexa Chung turned up perfectly dressed, but never overly dressed, which just makes her casual-chic style all the more enviable -- and accessible. And as lovely as The City stars Whitney Port and Olivia Palmero usually look, personally I think Alexa's outfit stood out the most. Here's what Alexa wore on today's show.

I mean can you just LOOK at Ashley Tisdale on the MTV Movie Awards red carpet? Was she not the HOTTEST thing there? Ashley wore a purple leather dress (the SAME one Keke Palmer wore to the 2009 Nickelodeon’s 2009 Kids' Choice Awards! Whoops!), by Norwegian/ New York designer Elise Øverland, who designed costumes for Aerosmith while she was still in design school. Ashley glammed up the already-glam purple dress with Paul & Joe Sister gladiator heels, a very on-trend Balenciaga belt, and a serious snake ring by Loree Rodkin.

Seriously? This look could BE her Guilty Pleasure album art. Anyway, it's clear that I think Ashley perfected the Movie Awards red carpet.

Last night at the MTV Movie Awards, Miley Cyrus hit the red carpet in a dusty rose/ cream-colored Moschino Cheap & Chic cocktail dress with an open back and ruffle detail and a folded envelope neck. Shoes: Christian Louboutin -- her first time in Louboutins on the red carpet!

Now, while the Movie Awards are known as being a totally anything-goes event (right, Lil Mama?), Miley opted for a totally sophisticated style. The only hint of fun, "So what, I'm still a rock star"/ Whitesnake Miley was a few chain bracelets, her super smokey eyes, and her cool turquoise polish.

Selena Gomez recently revealed the contents of her super-cute closet to WWD and confessed that she's got a bit of a shoe obsession. Selena also copped to her biggest shoe splurge yet: "That would have to be my BCBG wedges. They’re black-and-gray leather with little stones around the wedge. I paid almost $300 for them, but they were a gift to myself, so I was excited to buy them.”

Fueled by Selena's shoe splurge, obsession, and confession, I went on a mission to find the BCBG wedges Selena splurged on. But Selena/ shoe/ Selena shoe fans, I'll be totally honest with you: I failed you, as I could not find Selena's BCBG stone wedges. (Can you sense my shame? It's palpable.)

HOWEVER, I did find another pair of shoes that are so Selena. They're ballet flats from the Rachel Rachel Roy collection they're embellished with adorable bronze pyramid studs, which are SO Fall, and they'll be in select Macy's stores this fall. And, even better news, the Rachel Rachel Roy footwear collection will range from $79 to $199, so, while they're not super-cheapie, they're still definitely less than Selena's BCBG splurge.

PROJECT RUNWAY fans! Honest to God, hand to pearls, I met up with the diminutively divine, enormously talented Christian Siriano in Soho earlier this week, and he gave me (and you!) an up-close-and-personal tour of his Christian V Siriano Fall 2009 Ready-to-Wear collection, which was a dark and dreamy moody melange of chocolates and mochas, organzas and angoras, as well as some teals and green satin dresses draped dramatically, as is Christian Siriano's signature, you know? You so know!

Also on display at Christian's preview -- Christian Siriano's Payless shoes, which will hit Payless stores nationwide this August. They're super dramatic, super high, and they'll be super affordable at under $45. (God bless the poor soul who comes between me and the blue-green hieroglyphic booties.) Also, be on the lookout for Christian's Victoria Secret makeup collection, also set to hit stores around August.

With all of those projects (plus a book deal!) in the works, Christian actually managed to find time to show Buzzworthy a few key pieces from his Fall collection. (And he complimented me on my scarf! DEATH!)
