I know that this is supposed to be an interview with Shwayze and you're watching it and you're saying, 'I see Shwayze, singer/emcee, performer of the summer breeze of song "Buzzin'." But who invited the Doobie Brothers roadie?'

Well, that's Cisco Adler, who you may remember from such hits as, "I Dated Mischa Barton" or "I Dated Lauren Conrad" or perhaps most notably, "I Am Most Notable For Having Some Naked Pictures Of Myself Wind Up On The Internet."

In truth, Shwayze is both one dude's name and the name of a group (or project) that encompasses said dude and Adler. So...they're like PJ Harvey, I guess.

Cisco and Shwayze are gathered to talk candy, frights and Fall; that's right, it's another episode of "Halloween Horrors." Adler recalls the rough streets of his Hawaii youth while Shwayze admits to being something of a Reese's thief.

Check out more MTV Halloween Horrors here.

Alex Greenwald -- Phantom Planet frontman, Mark Ronson collaborator, and former model -- used to be so freaking hot it was almost impossible to look at him without thinking "nasty thoughts," as Janet Jackson once said. But not long ago, a paparazzi photo popped up in which the once-smokin' Alex looked like a straight-up hobo. Still, who'd he have hanging on his arm? British supermodel and Met Ball belle Agyness Deyn.

While we've got no problem with some slight shagginess, Alex Greenwald has seen better days, and his unkempt hair looks gnarlier than ever. (A tip: lather, rinse, repeat... repeat... repeat...) Still, Alex bagged a supermodel, so maybe the joke's on us.

Anyway, the shaggy/smoldering combo of Alex Greenwald and Agyness Deyn reminded us of some more hot chicks and the mangy men they love. So check out more of Buzzworthy's favorite guys who look like they live in boxcars and the beautiful babes who love them anyway.

Ryan Adams: Alt-country musician Ryan Adams won the heart of pop-folk singer Mandy Moore, who's had high-profile romances with tennis hunk Andy Roddick as well as Wilmer Valderrama and Zach Braff, while Ryan dated pretty Parker Posey. But it was ultra-shaggy Ryan who swept Mandy off her feet: Ryan and Mandy got married just last month. Hopefully the groom, uh, groomed for the big day.

Alex DeLeon: Okay, Alex DeLeon -- who's been linked to the radiant Demi Lovato -- used to be way more polished, but when he came to MTV for The Cab's Buzzworthy interview in March 2009, his broken-ended hair, fuzzy facial hair and leather accessories kinda made him look like he was running from the law. Bring back unquestionably hot Alex!

Ben Gibbard: Indie superstar Ben Gibbard's sensitive vocals are the perfect match for Zooey Deschanel. Zooey, dubbed "the rich man's Katy Perry" -- oh snap! -- by one site, has had leading roles in a slew of movies like Elf, where she showed off her vocal cords and her adorablility. Even though the oft-unshaven Ben's been featured on UglyMales.com (to the objection of many commenters, to be fair), he and Zooey matched up not only musically, but they're also engaged. Aww! Indie romance!

Joe Trohman: It's clear that Pete Wentz-ian man-glam is not Joe Trohman's style. But there are other ways to stand out besides looking like a homeless man who wandered off the street and onto the stage. His disheveled, mountain-man look has still been described as "wonderfully hobo-esque meets Jesus." True! We're not saying Joe's not hot. We just miss his From Under The Cork Tree-era/ "Dance Dance" short hair. Still, he nabbed a super-cute girl and put a ring on dat; he and Marie (above) are engaged.

Good news, Making the Band 4 fans! This week, Danity Kane, Day26 and Donnie Klang are taking over TRL (and invading your TV screens) in honor of tomorrow night's season 3 premiere. So if you worshiped Aubrey O'Day in Hairspray, love to love Donnie and have a thing for Day26, tune in on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to catch up with your favorite MTB guys and gals (plus an impressive arsenal of celeb guests) on TRL.

Then find out what Diddy has in store for the bandmates by watching the season 3 trailer (and check out the official TRL Fan Week schedule) before the new season kicks off tomorrow at 9pm.

Until then, here's a sneak-preview of what's in store this season on MTB...and this week on MTB Fan Week:

08.19.08 | Tuesday
MTB Fan Week kicks off with Danity Kane, Day26 and Donnie Klang -- in other words, everyone you know and love from the show (except Diddy and his cheesecake). Plus Shwayze and Cisco get their "Corona and Lime" on and The Cheetah Girls show the triple-D's why they're so spot-on.

08.20.08 | Wednesday
MTB Fan Week continues, as DK and Donnie Klang share hosting duties and marvel at the fact that they have the exact same initials. Also, The Veronicas perform and both DK's are on hand to chat up the House Bunny cast and introduce the newest jams from Nelly.

08.21.08 | Thursday
MTB Fan Week ends with a bang, as Day26 co-hosts and celebs Jesse McCartney, Tyrese, Jason Statham and Natalie Martinez stop by. Fortunately, new videos by Snoop Dogg and The Academy Is... arrive to help us cope with our MTB withdrawal symptoms.

Forget about Super Tuesday -- today's your next-to-last chance to vote for this year's Best Hip-Hop Video nominees! And since voting ends at 11 a.m. ET on Thursday (a.k.a. after your Egg McMuffin, but before your Supersized Big Mac and fries) it's probably best to get to the polls today. But first, check out our helpful rundown of the leading hip-hop contenders:

+ Maino, "Hi Hater" - An unequivocal office favorite, this song has helped us through late nights, early mornings and our daily food coma. In short, this is the song we love to hate.

+ Lil Wayne, "A Milli" - We've said it before, and we'll say it again. Anyone who can turn the phrase "I'm a venereal disease" into a chart-topping smash hit is clearly some sort of evil, diabolical genius.

+ Snoop Dogg, "Sensual Seduction" - Why? Because it's got that campy, Ladies Man thing happening. Plus, Snoop's so big pimpin' in his wardrobe that he makes Huggy Bear look like the epitome of understated refinement.

+ Flo Rida, "Low" - This vid deserves a shout-out for embodying virtually every single hip-hop stereotype, including (but not limited to) indoor shades, brightly colored tracksuits and an extremely bendy crop of female extras.

+ The Game, "Game's Pain" - Fresh Prince references! A cameo by Ice Cube! 50 Cent rocking the couture sweatband! Need we say more?

+ Ray J, "Sexy Can I" - Three words for you, Ray J: "Yes," "When?" and "Hummina hummina."

+ Lil Wayne, "Lollipop" - We love this video in spite of -- or possibly because of -- Weezy's highly questionable air guitar solo.

+ Tyga, "Coconut Juice" - Aside from making us thirsty, this video has it all: the laid-back beach vibe, the amazingly shirtless MC and the completely superfluous cameo by Pete Wentz.

+ Jay-Z, "Roc Boys (And the Winner Is)..." - This song is like the music video equivalent of Good Will Hunting. Except instead of the annoying Robin Williams character it's a glammed-out Mariah Carey. (How do you like them apples??)

+ Shwayze, "Buzzin" - The song that launched a tv show! And catapulted Shwayze and Cisco Adler to insta-fame, despite their defiant refusal to adhere to "No Shirt, No Service" signs.

+ B.o.B., "Haterz Everywhere" - We totally have that purple hoodie sweatshirt B.o.B. wears in the video! (You got it from Forever 21, right?) Also: that part where he raps "Haterz everywhere we go?" It's like he's reading our minds! No, seriously, B.o.B. -- get out of our heads.

Now, go get your vote on!

Shwayze is one rapper, one producer, a couple of their friends crashing on their couches, a few chicks in bikinis, and as much of a good time as you can fit in one of those massive Igloo coolers. And no, this isn't one of those "a rabbi, a priest, and a monk walk into a bar jokes." Just stay with us…

You've probably heard Malibu rapper Aaron Smith's -- he goes by Shwayze, so that mystery's solved -- and musician/producer/BFF Cisco Adler's sandy summer jam, "Buzzin'." (Trust us, you've heard it.) You know -- that song that details the backyard party that evolves into the type of backyard party that seems like the kind of backyard party that only actually happens in other people's backyards: paper lanterns that just happen to match the fluorescent-colored Solo cups attached to the hands of willing women who look like they stepped out of Urban Outfitters' summer catalog and/or a beer ad, a conspicuous absence of food, the ocean languishing in the background, the whole thing culminating in a bonfire set to the sound of an acoustic guitar, a lazy boom-bap beat, and a refrain so chill it'd make Jack Johnson jealous. That Shwayze.

In addition to playing this summer's Warped Tour, celebrating their breakthrough video's 1 million YouTube views, and readying their debut album for release on August 19, Shwayze's also prepping for the premiere of their new MTV reality show, entitled, quite simply, Buzzin. Think Rob and Big minus Meaty, meets Entourage less Adrian Grenier and Turtle, with a little Wayne and Garth, Flight of the Conchords and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air action, plus a record deal, a recording studio in Cisco's crib, and an almost preternatural willingness to go shirtless. It all happens Wednesday, July 23rd at 10:30pm.

Until then, consider their Artist of the Week stint their pre-party, if you will. And like any accomplished partier knows, the best kinds of parties are the ones where s--- goes down that you never imagined happening when the night began. And in Shwayze's case, that means walking into a Jacuzzi filled with hot girls, cold champagne… and Pauly Shore.

Watch Shwayze's "Buzzin'" video, their TRL performance, and the show trailer, check out exclusive photos from their Artist of the Week shoot, and watch all of their exclusive Artist of the Week videos here.

Plus: Check out exclusive footage of Shwayze on the set of their new video, "Corona & Lime," which premieres Friday, July 18 at 8pm ET on FNMTV.

Backstage at TRL today, The Game made time for us while he was getting his hair buzzed. Over the hum of the trimmer, he assured us that his next album, LAX (out July 8), will really truly be his last (for now.) And we took the opportunity to talk to the Black Wall Street CEO about the crap-ass economy: "It's crazy the times we're living in now. Everything's high, and money's lower. Even for me. It affects everyone from a janitor to a millionaire rap star. The gas prices are ridiculous I'm looking at $5 before the end of next year, but that's just me," The Game said. "It's preposterous. Everything's going up, but the money's not changing. It's starting to affect people in a big way. I'd like to see it change, not just for me but for American individuals as a whole."

Still, you gotta stay in touch, which is why the The Game just bought a Sidekick to replace his broken iPhone. Despite our friendly reminder that the next iPhone's just around the corner, The Game was undeterred: "I've had the last of the iPhone," he said. "It's always something wrong with my iPhone. So I'm done with iPhones, back to the Sidekick. Because I'm scared of that BlackBerry."

And speaking of things that buzz, we caught up with Shwayze right before they took the stage to perform their summer single, "Buzzin'," and they told us about their weirdest music moment yet: "We played Wango Tango," Cisco Adler said. "It was our biggest show ever. It was 20,000 people, and it was wild. We played in between Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers, which was very apropos. Hopefully we can sell as many records as them. But we're definitely having more fun."

See for yourself -- check out Shwazye, The Game and Chris Brown (Chris Brown!!) in today’s exclusive Spankin’ New Music Week backstage video, and check out Shwayze "Buzzin'" live.

Dude, the sun is totally beatin' down in my chill-ass backyard, those chicks over there are conveniently already wearing string bikinis, and I'm getting sick of listening to LFO and 311. Nomesayin', bromosapien?

What I need now is a kiddie pool full of jungle juice, some requisite Solo cups (in red, obvs), Malibu MC Shwayze, Cisco Adler (known for famous dad Lou Adler, dating Mischa Barton, and... other things... like his band, Whitestarr), and an acoustic hip-hop jam, and I'm tired of waiting for Travis McCoy to hook up with mellow pop-folk singer Jack Johnson. Oh wait…

Watch "Buzzin'," and expect more collabos from the duo named for Shwayze but also referred to as Shwayze (confusing, we know): they're currently shooting an MTV reality show. You're stoked.
