Dear Mariah Carey,

First of all, happy (belated) birthday. We hope it didn't get overshadowed by Lady Gaga's birthday. That's gotta be annoying, sharing a birthday with another very famous person.

Anyway, we congratulate you on your impending additions to your family. We're very, very happy for you and Nick Cannon. And we appreciate your interest in expressing your creativity through an arts and crafts project! But we're concerned that you've used your belly as the canvas. And then took a picture of your belly. And then then tweeted it to the free world.

Of your be-butterflied belly, you tweeted "My attempt @ festiveness on 327! For ATLITL thank u + I?U! Comin soon #dembabies! LYMA+thanx 4 making me happy:)."

Mariah's babies nearly arrived yesterday, but the almost-delivery proved to be a false alarm.

Doll, we're just saying. When we find ourselves harboring intense, grandiose artistic visions for ourselves, we head to Color Me Mine and glaze a bowl. And maybe you should think about that next time? Here's to your riding out the rest of your pregnancy with a nice stack of heavy-duty paper from Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores and a Crayola 94-pack at the ready, so you can capture all of your creative visions THERE. And not on your stomach. We look forward to meeting your twin bundles of joy in the near future.

Love,

Us

Move OVER, Warren Buffet. You think you've got the monopoly on ALL OF BUSINESS? Start giving credit where credit is due. And do you KNOW to whom it's due? Jessica Simpson, that's whom. That's right, we said whom. It seems that Jessica Simpson's business acumen is so impressive that she qualifies for the Business Woman's Special, as Romy and Michele so famously attempted in the epic flick, Romy And Michele's High School Reunion.

Jessica Simpson is the subject of today's Women's Wear Daily "In Person" article, and the newly engaged songbird is set to hit $1 billion in revenue next year with her eponymous fashion line. Jessica helms an operation offering products ranging from juniors sportswear and dresses to handbags, jewelry, intimate apparel and fragrances. And Jessica Simpson's brand is slated to branch out into fine jewelry, cosmetics and menswear.

"The bigger it gets, the more stressful it gets," Jessica told WWD. Stressful it may be, she's proven wrong any skeptics who thought she was just a blonde airhead who didn't know tuna wasn't poultry. Today, Jessica's LOLing all the way to the bank, and we wanna love the Jessica Simpson line forever. Because the Sweetest Sin? Is the fact that our hottest heels are not Louboutins. Or Jimmy Choos. They're a pair of Jessica Simpsons.

The Defense of Marriage Act -- the a United States federal law that defines marriage as a legal union between one man and one woman and provides that states don't have to recognize a marriage from another state if it's between two people of the same sex -- were "Tearin' Up [His] Heart," clearly. So Lance Bass, former *NSYNCer and purveyor of fantastic hair has taken action by signing on to Freedom To Marry's Say "I Do" campaign.

Since the campaign launched earlier this month, more than 60,000 people nationwide -- in addition to celebrities like Sara Bareilles, Anne Hathaway, Ellen & Portia DeGeneres, and Cyndi Lauper -- have helped send a message to President Obama to join the majority of Americans who support the same-sex couples' freedom to marry. The Freedom to Marry is inviting more Americans to join by signing its Open Letter to the President. A Washington Post-ABC News poll recently found that 53 percent of Americans support same-sex marriage -- more than double the 26 percent support when the Defense of Marriage act was brought through Congress in 1996.

We're glad to see that the momentum is accelerating toward ending marriage discrimination and that Lance Bass is using his celebrity to help raise awareness for the worthy cause. The former boy bander has long been an advocate of gay rights, and we think it's awesome that he's throwing down his John Hancock on a letter that will say "Bye Bye Bye" to laws against same-sex marriage.

Listen, we're all for fitness. But let's be real with each other. We think the puzzling thing about Justin Bieber's workout situation is that he even HAS to work out. Isn't it, like, a universal truth that teenaged boys burn more calories, like, watching TV than most people do running a 10K?

(Credit: Usmagazine.com)

We mean... really. First the haircut, then the mustache "news," and now we have to deal with the fact that Justin Bieber is evidently slimming down? We're pretty sure his 17-year-old constitution will yield major results just by his changing one modicum of his diet, like switching from drinking heavy cream to whole milk instead.

Or perhaps Bieber's looking to bulk up? Is the "One Less Lonely Girl" singer looking to wow Selena Gomez with his rock-hard biceps? Seen here in UsMagazine.com, with his trainer Dolvett Quince, he seems committed to weight and strength training. Word on the street is that this dude's packing a six-pack.

Belieb it! Bieber's buffing up. Next thing you know, he's gonna look like The Rock. What do you think? Are you psyched for Justin Bieber to unveil a new bod for summer? Or would you prefer that he stay as-is? Weigh in (ha!) in the comments.

This week, Gwen Stefani donated $1 million to Save the Children's Japan Earthquake-Tsunami Children in Emergency Fund. Basically, Gwen was like, "If I Was A Rich Girl (and I am, thankfully), I'd donate a massive amount of money to help people in need." And it was totally dope of her.

"I've been inspired by Japan for many years and have a true love, appreciation and respect for the Japanese people and their culture. The disaster in Japan is beyond heartbreaking, and I want to do anything I can to help," Gwen Stefani said via a statement on No Doubt's blog. "I would never be able to make a gesture like this without the love and support of all the fans over all these years." The L'Oreal spokeswoman is also selling a limited-edition t-shirt from her Harajuku Lovers line, available next week at the No Doubt website. Proceeds from her T-shirt will also benefit the fund.

We're always in awe of and inspired by Gwen Stefani, and her donation to people in need only inspires us more. If you're inspired to help, check out Act.MTV.com for ways to aid in the earthquake and tsunami relief effort in Japan.

Ellen DeGeneres recently gifted an unsuspecting Selena Gomez with a Justin Bieber pillow, after reminding the "Who Says" singer that she once claimed Justin was "like a brother" to her. And that got us thinking. Justin Bieber pillows are just... too NECESSARY for your home decor concept to be limited to a single iteration, like the one Selena will no doubt be laying her head on this evening. No. So we tracked down our favorite Justin Bieber pillows on Etsy. Which is convenient, because weren't you JUST sighing to your BFF, "GEEZ I wish I could lay my weary head upon an airbrushed image of Justin Bieber and his casually windswept mane tonight"? Well, wish no more, friends. WISH NO MORE.

Naturally, this pillowcase will liven up the yellow-and-gray and BIEBER-themed bedroom in which you're undoubtedly dwelling. And lest people wonder where the future Mrs. Bieber sleeps, that mystery has now been solved. (Also, though, like DOES Mrs. Bieber really sleep here? Does she, though?)

If Bieber + animal print is more the theme of your bedroom (I'm sure interior designer Jonathan Adler will be embracing this combo for Fall 2011), you'll want to involve yourself with this throw pillow, adorned with an 8x10 photo of Justin.

Lastly, perhaps photos are too gaudy for you; you're a superfan who'd rather subtly salute your singing savior with the written word. An epistolary shout-out, if you will. And what better word than "Belieber?" Or Belieber in large, pink felt letters on your pillow? Exactly.

Why say ANYTHING with flowers (unless they're Justin Bieber flowers) when you can say everything you need to with a Bieber pillow? Tell us: Which one is your favorite?

What Mel B (Melanie Brown, if you're unaware) really wants, what she really REALLY wants, evidently, is a baby! And she and her husband, film producer Stephen Belafonte, are getting one -- the former Spice Girl is pregnant with a girl! The former "Dancing With The Stars" runner-up, who's due in July, joins fellow Spice GIrl Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), who's due this May.

We are thrilled for Mel B and anxiously await the arrival of a baby Scary Spice. Perhaps she'll be merely a Medium-Spice until she's full grown to her full-on chili pepper glory. This will be the third daughter for Mel, adding to what could easily be a burgeoning girl scout troop of girls, including Phoenix (age 12) and Angel (age 3). Two will soon become three... or something!

Congratulations, Mel B! You're "throwing far too much emotions" at us, but all of them are GOOD. We're throwing on our most intense circa-'97 Spice Girl platforms in celebration for you, as it'll likely be a few months since you're stepping out in yours. Here's to a new addition to the family. May she appreciate a healthy dose of animal print and big hair.

(Updated March 21, 6:30pm ET)

As if we needed another reason to love Hanson, our friends at MTV News got a firsthand account of Hanson's tremendous efforts to help the relief effort in Japan this past weekend.

Upon connecting with the SXSW4Japan relief effort, curated by Rob Wu and Leigh Durst, Taylor Hanson rallied his band of brothers, and on March 19, in less than 24 hours, put together an impromptu musical telethon online to support the relief efforts in Japan. Hanson and their celebrity friends streamed live messages of support, performances and calls to action encouraging donations for Japan for 12 straight hours at SXSW4Japan.org.

Hanson's efforts helped bring in $10,000 to help survivors of the disasters in Japan. To date, the SXSW4Japan initiative has raised more than $103,000. (You can still donate at SXSW4Japan.org or by texting "Redcross" to 90999.)

We think it's phenomenal that the trio mobilized their musical network to help the struggling country regain its standing after a devastating 8.9 earthquake and tsunami. If we had Buzzworthy medals of honor to give Hanson, we would.

Hanson pulled in celebrity friends such as Charlie Mars (pictured above), Michael Stipe, The Boxer Rebellion, Bowling For Soup, Anna Nalick, An Horse, The Parlotones, Widespread Panic's John Hermann, and the Court Yard Hounds, to encourage viewers to donate to relief effort. All proceeds from the 12-hour telethon went directly to the American Red Cross, and featured songs will be sold as part of an upcoming benefit project. Go Hanson!

It's been an unfortunate series of bad hair days for Pink, and probably will be for a while as her new deeply bad gray-blond pixie haircut grows out. What IS that hairstyle? Was her stylist joking? Does she hate Pink? Was she paying an unnecessary homage to "The Three Stooges"' Moe? Or perhaps she wanted to do a tribute to favorite stuffed animal relic the Monchichi? Who knows. There's even a little George Clooney-circa-the-beginning-of-"ER"'s-epic-run going on in that look.

Pink, who's pregnant with her first child with husband Carey Hart, is not happy with her hair "don't." "The woman that did my hair butchered it," Pink tweeted. "I hate it." Poor Pink. That haircut is not OK. It's not even wrong in ANY of the right ways, let alone all of them, to paraphrase the singer's "Raise Your Glass" lyrics. For a gal who revels in her edginess, we're horrified for her that this faux Caesar has left Pink with all the rough edges of a Skittle. Oh, Pink! We raising our glass to your bravery... and your next haircut.

OK, we KNEW that the reported Ryan Phillippe/Rihanna romance wasn't going to last (if it was, in fact, real). First of all, Ryan Phillippe is like, the eighth-hottest Ryan in Hollywood, ranked on the "Ryan" scale of merely handsome  -- Seacrest -- to world's hottest man  -- Gosling. (We're very scientific here at Buzzworthy.) And the fact that Ryan has about as many rough edges as a York Peppermint Pattie. We see Rihanna with a dude with a little more of a rough vibe.

Now, the ravishing redhead Barbadian was reportedly spotted with Colin Farrell. Um! We know she didn't ask, but we love THIS choice of man candy. His eyebrows alone are devastating. In a good way. In the best way. In a somewhat... FERAL way, heh.

The pair were reported to have been sexting last month after meeting for the first time on the U.K.'s Graham Norton Show. Colin, 34, is quite a bit older than the 23-year-old songbird. And the notorious ladies' man has been single all of a few months since splitting with former girlfriend Alicja Bachleda-Curus, so perhaps Rihanna is the kind of S.O.S. he needs right now.

What do you think, Buzzworthy readers?
