This week's roundup features an early '90s throwback from a U.K. disco-pop princess, a sparkling comeback from a "X Factor U.K." alum, and more in 5 Must-Hear Pop Songs Of The Week.

1.) Katy B, "What Love Is Made Of"

Jessie Ware kept us disco dancing with her fabulously lush "Imagine It Was Us" last month, and now she's passed the mirrorball baton over to U.K. garage/alt-disco princess Katy B to keep the party grooving into the summer. "What Love Is Made Of" is Katy's brand-new single, which premiered on BBC radio last week, and it's a pure burst of early '90s house euphoria. "Let me see/ Give it to me," she commands above the almighty throwback synthesizers. One of the songs of the summer? No doubt.

This week's round-up features a heartbreaking moment from a "X Factor" Queen, an almighty trance anthem from the top DJ in the world, and more.

1.) Little Boots, "All For You"

After months of teasers, remixes, and singles, Little Boots has at long last unveiled her nighttime nu-disco opus, Nocturnes. The result is an unsurprisingly stellar collection of throbbing, moody tunes for the dance floor and pensive nocturnal jams, including "All For You," one of the shimmering highlights of the record. The emotional mid-tempo track, co-crafted with Hercules and Love Affair's Andy Butler, slowly chugs along a bouncing synth pulse with the earnest devotion of Lana Del Rey, and a chorus that plays like Kylie Minogue covering Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill."

It's time for another round of "5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week"!

This week's roundup includes a rising British girl group bringing back that soulful '90s R&B sound, an electro cover of an '80s freestyle classic, Sweden's premiere EDM duo, and the surprise return of a U.K. disco diva. Check it out!

1.) Boris Dlugosch featuring Ròisín Murphy, "Look Around You"

More than a decade since their last collaboration together (2001's "Never Enough"), German House producer Boris Dlugosch and alt-disco goddess Ròisín Murphy have reunited once again to craft a new tune for the dance floor. "Look Around You," the twosome's sultry new disco groove, relies on a funky disco bass line, warm electronic vibrations, and of course, Murphy's velvet-smooth crooning. It's a warm, seductive slice of Studio 54-throwback goodness skyrocketed straight into the 21st century. Lock the doors, lower the blinds... you know how this goes.

It's Wednesday! Time for another round of "5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week"!

This week's roundup includes the return of the Queen of Norwegian Pop, promising efforts from some rising British singer-songwriters, and some dubby, downtempo dance courtesy of the "Milkshake" songstress herself. Read on!

Livvi Franc, Jess Mills, Danny Brown, Say Lou Lou, Charli XCX, Ginny Blackmore in 5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week.

1.) Ralph Myerz featuring Annie, "Take A Look At The World"

She's all but disappeared since 2009's Don't Stop, but now Annie (the same songstress behind "Heartbeat," "Chewing Gum," "I Know Ur Boyfriend Hates Me," and the Italo-disco masterpiece "Anthonio") is back -- and just as brilliant. Norwegian producer Ralph Myerz enlisted the Scandinavian pop goddess to provide vocals on his brand-new single, "Take A Look At The World." A shimmering electro-pop creation co-crafted by the legendary Röyksopp, full of unbelievably catchy chants ("Oh-ah-oh-ah-oh!") and pounding electronic beats, "Take A Look" plays like a cross between the sleek, stylish shimmers of Girls Aloud, Mini Viva, and Dannii Minogue -- and maybe a bit of big room EDM influence too. Much like Annie's thirst to step beyond her city limits, the track deserves to go on a trip all around the world. It's massive. Really, though: Annie and Röyksopp? Who's surprised it'd be this good, honestly?

It's Tuesday! Time for another round of "5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week"!

This week's roundup features a Swedish-Australian dream-pop sister act, a U.K. goth-pop princess, and a New Zealand singer-songwriter who wrote Christina Aguilera a solid smash for "Lotus." Read on!

Livvi Franc, Jess Mills, Danny Brown, Say Lou Lou, Charli XCX, Ginny Blackmore in 5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week.

1.) Say Lou Lou, "Julian"

Say Lou Lou isn't just a fun name to say out loud -- it's also the name of an incredible dream-pop duo! The rising sister act (twin sisters, in fact) grew up shuttling in between Australia and Sweden, and now they make gloriously moody and luscious tunes tailored for 4 a.m. cry sessions and pensive night drives. On their latest single, "Julian," the girls vow to get their beloved Julian past the border: "You know I'll keep your secret/ I've locked it up inside/ As long as we are moving/ I know it'd be all right," they promise above the dreamy synthesizers. It's a bit like Bat For Lashes mixed with some Sally Shapiro -- a perfect soundscape if we've ever heard one. Godspeed, Julian!

It's Tuesday! Time for another round of "5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week"!

This week's roundup features a pop chanteuse's moody dance track, solo work from one of pop's most in demand singer-songwriters, and a quirky Danish indie pop duo's rollicking first release from their new record.

5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week.

1.) Tinashe And Jacques Green, "Painted Faces"

Our beloved Tinashe is no stranger 'round these parts -- the Buzz On alum first got our attention in 2011 with her sizzling club-pop anthems and moody mixtapes. Most recently, she's teamed up in the studio with Canadian producer Jacques Greene for Yours Truly and Adidas Originals' "Songs From Scratch" campaign, which follows the collaborative process between two artists on one song. "Painted Faces" is the result of their collaboration -- a subtle, slightly chilly '90s-tinged house track. Tinashe's honey-sweet vocals layer onto the delicate pulsations gorgeously, resulting in a dance track that almost feels too precious to bust a move. Almost.

It's Tuesday! Time for another round of "5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week"!

This week's roundup features trap-turned-trance euphoria from a certain Navy Commander, funky throwback grooves from a Scissor Sister gone solo, and some devastating heartbreak from the industry's Concrete Rose. Let's go!

Ashanti, Slow Knights, Rihanna, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Carly Rae Jepsen and more in 5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week.

1.) Ashanti, "Never Should Have"

Our beloved Concrete Rose is back! Five years since The Declaration, R&B chanteuse Ashanti is finally gearing up to release her long-awaited follow-up, Braveheart. Taking a break from her gig on the latest season of "Army Wives," the "Foolish" songstress has just unveiled a brand-new track from the upcoming album: "Never Should Have," a devastating power ballad that sees the singer pouring more emotion into a track than ever before. "I thought that you were ready/ I thought that we were gonna be a family," she achingly cries out above a striding marching beat and light electronica flourishes. Sure, there are probably some things you shouldn't have done, Ashanti -- but releasing "Never Should Have" isn't one of them.

It's Tuesday! Time for another round of "5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week"!

This week's roundup features sweet, sweet former Sugababes crooning, the return of a Pussycat Doll, and an outrageous new anthem from a certain Disney princess gone bad. Spring break forever!

This week's roundup features sweet, sweet former Sugababes crooning, the return of a Pussycat Doll, and more in 5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week.

1.) Phoenix, "Entertainment" (Blood Orange Remix)

Blood Orange, better known as Dev Hynes, clearly had a lot of fun in the studio with MKS, otherwise known as Mutya Keisha Siobhan from the original lineup of the Sugababes. After unveiling the new British girl group's cover of Kendrick Lamar's "Swimming Pools" last week, the producer has unveiled his brilliant take on Phoenix's new single, "Entertainment." His remix finds the blissful, '80s-tinged original several hours later into the night, slowed down substantially, and given a decidedly more melancholy sheen. And, of course, the vocals of Mutya Keisha Siobhan take over the chorus and add new depth with their sweet, sugary harmonies. It's still not an original track from MKS, but as with their brilliant take on Kendrick Lamar, we'll gladly take it.

It's Tuesday! Time for another round of "5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week"!

This week's roundup features a legendary U.K. girl group's Stateside studio sessions, a brilliant Janet reinterpretation, futuristic R&B, and a celebration of the ultimate disco diva. Come and get it!

1.) MKS, "Lay Down in Swimming Pools"

Ah, MKS: the greatest girl group to never debut...yet. For the past year, the original members of the iconic British girl group Sugababes have been holed up in studios across the U.K. and America carving out what will be an inevitably immaculate (re-)debut -- their first together since 2000's One Touch. And at long last, we got a taste of something new last week: "Lay Down In Swimming Pools," an interpolation of Kendrick Lamar's "Swimming Pools (Drank)" produced by Solange's BFF, Dev Hynes. Harmonizing above a faded, blurry R&B beat, the girls po' it, po' it up together. It's a refreshing sound, and all the girls sound fantastic (especially Siobhan's moment toward the end!) For a group that hasn't made new music in more than a decade, they've never sounded quite so fresh.

We reviewed Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience" ...IN GIFs!

Don't call it a comeback! Well, actually, go right ahead. This one really does count as a comeback.

Seven years (and a whole lot of acting gigs and "SNL" appearances) after sending us along on a space-pop odyssey on the (still) groundbreaking FutureSex/LoveSounds, Justin Timberlake made his formal return (quite formal -- suit and tie formal, in fact) to the music industry this week with an early stream of The 20/20 Experience (grab the actual disc when it drops March 19!). Teaming up yet again with his constant collaborator Timbaland, the former boy band crooner (we bet he hates hearing that!) has carved out another collection of extended mid-tempo grooves for his 2013 return, full of extended breakdowns and bouncy interludes that stretch each song well past the 5-minute mark.

In a lot of ways, 20/20 is not so much an evolution in sound as it is a continuation of his 2006 record, relying on the same horn-heavy loops and Timba-branded beatboxing as he did over a half decade ago. And while he manages to get the crowd briefly pumped for lead single "Suit & Tie" and the Latin-infused "Let The Groove Get In," the record is largely an "album only" affair, as opposed to the more hit-heavy, single-ready fare of his last two records.

But even if the new album isn't chock-full of obvious singles (which isn't even a bad thing, necessarily) and often drags (that one's a bad thing), Justin's packed a few massive punches along the way, including the unbelievably sexy "Don't Hold The Wall," the Janet-esque R&B coo of "Strawberry Bubblegum," and "Blue Ocean Floor" -- arguably his most stunning ballad ever, proving that JT's still got what it takes to stay comfortably seated at the throne as pop royalty.
