Ever wonder what it's like to be a celebrity? Mobbed by screaming fans vying for a piece of your hoodie and paparazzi trying to take pics of your, um, private parts? Well, whether MTV News reporter James Montgomery wondered or not, he got his 15 minutes of fame (or more like 144 hours to be exact)...

When James traveled with Fall Out Boy down to South America (they were set to head to Antarctica before the trip was postponed), he was mistakenly identified as a member of the band by excitable Chilean locals:

...for six days down in Punta Arenas, I was Britney. Given the fact that I was a bearded Caucasian dude in skinny jeans, it didn't take the kids of Punta Arenas long to figure out that I was somehow connected to Fall Out Boy (I think some were even convinced I was in the band), which automatically made me a celebrity of the highest caliber. And fair game.

As a result, every pair of eyes was trained on me, which meant that I couldn't move without starting a mini-riot or having a million flashbulbs going off in my face. I wasn't able to go to the grocery story or open a window or basically do anything any normal person would be able to do. Kids screamed my name, asked me to sign their backpacks, passed me notes. They all felt that they knew me, could corner me and have a conversation with me. It was surreal, to say the very least.

And what did he learn? Being a celebrity is tough work. Read about James' epic fan-filled experience, and watch below to see a pro (Pete Wentz) take it all in stride...

Named after the big, shaggy yeti in the 1986 fantasy movie Labyrinth (it's got David Bowie and puppets -- classic), Ludo are five guys who know a thing or two about theatrics. The band's new video, "Love Me Dead," is like an elaborate high school musical (no, not that kind) with frontman Andrew Volpe as the star of the show, melodically, hyper-literally musing on his super schizo love/hate relationship with a certain lady friend.

Hailing from St. Louis, the band formed back in 2003 but only gained recent kudos following the February 2008 release of their major label debut, You're Awful, I Love You. With heart-tugging harmonies that bear resemblance to power-pop icons Weezer (nerdy glasses included!) the group is vying for votes for a spot on the TRL countdown.

Watch "Love Me Dead" for a histrionic dose of chainsaws, vampires and skeletons (no yetis though -- too bad), and check out videos by some of their select elders:

Three years after their last studio album, Story of the Year is back. After changing their name from Big Blue Monkey (good call, guys), SOTY first caught our attention back in 2004 with "Until the Day I Die" and "Anthem of Our Dying Day" (death is evidently a favorite theme of the band's) from their major label debut, Page Avenue.

After getting their aggression out on their heavier sophomore effort, In The Wake of Determination (and trading punches with Godsmack's roadies -- LOLz), the hardcore punk quintet took a much-needed breather, and now they're poised to release their new disc, Black Swan on April 22.

Here's their brand-new clip, "Wake Up," which features singer Dan Marsala (the pensive dude who's front and center, twiddling his thumbs) and co. playing in an abandoned warehouse while kids spray-paint things. What does it all mean? Stay in school, kids.

For a while, Tokio Hotel were like David Hasselhoff -- they were only big in Germany. But after the pop-rock quartet released their debut English-language disc Scream last year (here in the States, the set will be released May 6), they gained many a fan (and could very well surpass the 'Hoff in global popularity). Don't believe us? Get a free download of "Scream," recorded live at the Fillmore East in New York.

Another reason to download that live track: the band recently had to cancel their sold-out European tour after singer Bill Kaulitz (the third from the left/ the one with the awesome two-tone hair) needed surgery on his vocal cords.

We here at Buzzworthy wish Bill all the best. For now, check out Tokio Hotel's new video "Ready, Set, Go!" which shows the frontman in full force:

(And Hasselhoff -- watch your back!)

Hi there, music lovers. I'm BuzzRock, Buzzworthy's new blogger helping to bring you the latest music videos and news on our favorite artists.

I thought long and hard about which music videos to show you in my first post. Since Buzzworthy is all about the music people love, I chose one of the very first bands I was passionate about...

Before there was *NSync, Backstreet Boys, Hanson and The Jonas Brothers, there was N.K.O.T.B.:

New Kids were my favorite old-school concert, but since then my tastes have changed a bit. Clickety clack onward for a few more of my all-time favorite videos (they're a little more current than New Kids -- promise). Read More...
