Call them emo all you want. Undefinable Houston rockers Blue October pride themselves on not holding anything back and could care less if you like it or not. "Get it all out," they say. That's the most important thing.

Just weeks after the release of their fifth studio album, Approaching Normal, Justin (vox, guitar) and Jeremy Furstenfeld (drums), Ryan Delahoussaye (violin, mandolin, piano), C.B. Hudson (guitar), and Matt Noveskey (bass) came by the MTV studios to share five very important things about Blue October and their "bipolar art rock."

It was one stop among many on their endless tour, an experience which allows them to "wake up in a different city [every day] and see the world."

Find out what keeps Blue October going, day after day, in the exclusive MTV Buzzworthy interview below. And if you somehow haven't heard Blue October yet, watch their video for "Say It," after the jump.

In case you somehow still need more reasons to tune into the Internet's best new show, I've compiled $5 Cover's steamiest scenes to give you a taste of just how far director Craig Brewer is willing to push the envelope. Clearly we're too classy enough (right, Tila?!) to broadcast all-out porn, but the Hustle & Flow director so expertly wields the power of suggestion, that at times it's even hotter than the real thing.

1. A New Drummer: Bass Master
$5 Cover's very first scene catches blues whisperer Amy LaVere in the act, doing a fearsome sans-pants tango with her stand-up bass. Scene 1! Memphis doesn't waste any time.

2. A New Drummer: Bed-Hopping
Minutes after Amy's private band practice sesh comes to an end, we meet her buddy Clare Grant, who's also lost her pants. But Clare's not wrestling an instrument. She's rolling around with Amy's boyfriend. Well, that is, until Amy walks in.

3. Head Change: Clare & Present Danger
After a spirited parking lot pep talk, Memphis rap clown Muck Sticky and kinky Clare take to the stage with an act that includes semi-nude S&M antics. Blame it on the Memphis heat!

4. Memphis Drama: Valerie's Secret
Valerie June is as cool and mellow as $5 Cover characters come. The drawling, dreadlocked singer-songwriter provides frequent easygoing comic relief. But there's no relief from Valerie's breakfast attire in Episode 3, which leaves nothing to the imagination!

5: Things to come...
Believe it or not, $5 Cover's steamiest clips are still yet to come! The new episodes premiering on MTV every Friday include new lovers, a heartbreak, a heart attack and a very physical reunion between Clare Grant and Lucero singer Ben Nichols. If you think your heart rate's up for all that action, check out new episodes of $5 Cover, and get more behind-the-scenes looks at $5 Cover on the $5 Cover blog.

If not for the wisdom of the great people of Paris, this superstar could have just been another back-up dancer. And no, I'm not talking about you, avid Buzzworthy-reader Kevin Federline.

In a 1984 interview with mullet-headed MTV VJ Mark Goodman, Madonna talks about living in New York in the early-1980s and working as a dancer. Just when it looked like she'd be twirling into her thirties, she got a call from a French record label. They wanted to cut an album. Clearly, Madonna went to France.

Watch the MTV Vault gem below for more on that story, and stick around to pick up on Madonna's gasp-worthy fashion, which was, as you know, WAY ahead of its time.

Take it away, Madge!

Watching Mandy Moore on "The 5," you can tell she is as much an actress as she is a musician. Her face is so animated that you could sit through this MTV.com interview with the sound off and still get a real good feel for what her new album's like: grown-up, sincere and ever-so-slightly self-deprecating.

Whether or not her recent marriage to new-country's punk prince, Ryan Adams, has directly affected her music, she doesn't say. But she does name-check Wilco while describing the sound she's after. Her debut Amanda Leigh single, "I Could Break Your Heart Any Day Of The Week" isn't exactly "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under," but it's definitely got a twang to it.

Manning that twang is producer Mike Viola, the guy who actually wrote and sang "That Thing You Do." Introduced by Mandy's buddy Inara George (The Bird And The Bee), the two hit it off immediately and quickly had an album on their hands. But why don't I let Mandy tell the rest. She says it all so... clearly. Only thing that's sorely lacking from this interview is her Ultimate Fighting fetish, but that's why you've got Google!

Check out Mandy Moore's new interview below, and watch her new "I Could Break Your Heart Any Day Of The Week" video after the jump! Plus, stream Wilco's new album, Wilco (The Album), on mtvU!

Remember how famous that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City soundtrack was a few years ago? I'm not a video game guy, but I used to play that one just to drive around and listen to the radio. Flipping between stations you could catch blips of Cutting Crew, Run DMC, Rick James, Hall & Oates, Motley Crue and A Flock Of Seagulls, all while enjoying a flamingo pink Miami sunset.

Well I got no time for video games anymore -- too busy fanning Tamar and feeding her peeled grapes -- but I just found out I can have pretty much the exact same experience, without all the hand-eye coordination, if I just throw on And Then Boom by Iglu & Hartly.

In fact, not only do these smart-assed Fracht-Rockers (that's frat + yacht) out of Los Angeles capture every bit of that Vice City sweetness, but they also cram all of it into every single song. You know that brilliant Frito~Lay product called Munchies that combines Cheetos, Doritos, Pretzels and Sun Chips? Iglu & Hartly are the musical equivalent of the cheese fix waiting in every bite of that genius snack. They've got new-wave disco synths, monster ballad bridges, rap breaks, and soul jazz smoothness bubbling up in every last jam.

Of course I realize that I've made an outrageous claim and will have to back it up. So, why don't you go ahead and stream all of And Then Boom here, download "Day Glo" and "Jump Out Of Your Car" below and see for yourself?

Great news for Miley Cyrus: it's just been announced that Kings Of Leon will perform at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards! Miley, who's nominated in the Best Song From A Movie category for Hannah Montana: The Movie showstopper, "The Climb," has confessed that she has a big crush on the Southern band of brothers.

Particularly to Miley's liking is Kings Of Leon bassist/pianist Jared Followill, whose blue eyes and shaggy hair have won plenty of hearts before hers. In an MTV News interview, the boys professed an interest in cracking the silver screen, imagining roles for themselves in Pineapple Express Part 2, if it's ever made. Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Miley? You're a movie star... This could be a very good lead-in to a lasting "friendship."

What should Miley say to break the ice? Got any good ideas? Watch KOL's "On Call" video below, post some pick-up lines for Miley in the comments, and get stoked for what's now guaranteed to be a balls-out MTV Movie Awards show, Sunday, May 31 at 9PM!

In the interview below, Rick Ross doesn't mention that he lied through his teeth to get "All I Really Want" made. He had to. His Colombian video fantasy was just too dangerous for his label to sign off on without a little embellishment.

It was so important to Ross that his video's backdrop be beautiful Colombia, that he insisted he "had people" in Medellin, once the famous headquarters of drug lord Pablo Escobar, and that the crew would be welcomed with open arms. He even straight-up lied to The-Dream, who guests on the track. Now that is commitment.

As you'll soon learn, Ross has been deeply committed to the greatness of "All I Really Want," and to Deeper Than Rap, from the beginning. Maybe even more committed than he is to beefin' with 50 Cent!

Hit play below to find out which record-breaking album inspired his latest sounds. Here's a clue: he used to listen to it "on vinyls" with his mom.

When people talk about Paul Wall, they invariably talk about his teeth. It's his own doing, of course -- not only does Paul Wall rap about grills, but he also makes and sells them. But when it came time to list the most important factors that influenced his new album, Fast Life, grills didn't even crack Paul Wall's top five.

What did? Beef jerky and baseball. The essentials.

Also notably absent from Paul Wall's list are Fast Life collaborators Travis Barker, Yung Joc, Gorilla Zoe, Too $hort and Tech N9ne. No room for Mr. Boomtown (the Dirty South's leading video director responsible for Paul Wall's "Bizzy Body" clip, as well as new joints from Mike Jones, Slim Thug, Gucci Mane and Bun B) either.

That's how important beef jerky and baseball are to Paul Wall. Don't forget it. Fill in the blanks on the rest of his list in the video below.

The hair in this video is gonna blow your mind. Apparently mullets and Pomeranian shags were totally normal in 1988. Anyway, on to the point...

Long before she was making jaws drop with her "strange behavior" on American Idol, Forever Your Girl-era Paula Abdul dropped this bomb on a mull-icious MTV interviewer back in 1988: Michael "Balboa" Bolton used to be her babysitter!

Bolton doesn't appear in the interview, because had his mane been added to the mix, your face would melt from the sheer hairpower.

Among the interview's (Jerry Seinfeld?) revelations is the fact that Bolton, one of the whitest dudes of all time, can apparently really "shake a leg." Can you believe that? It's almost as shocking as the fact that Michael Bolton was a card-carrying member of the Babysitters' Club! Get the whole story from Paula herself, in the incredible MTV vintage video below!

Rihanna's ongoing bout with other people's jealousy started with a big school pageant win. After Rihanna took home the top prize, she noticed that people were looking at her differently, talking "all kinds of stuff," and showing their true colors. She was disturbed, but she let it go.

So you can just imagine what happened when she got signed to a major record label and started taking pop culture by storm. As a superstar, Rihanna got very familiar with the concept of "frenemies," as one friend after another turned away in jealousy.

At that point, it was clearly time for Rihanna to move on. We've all had frenemies, but I have a feeling that celebrities experience them on a whole other level. Looking fine as ever, Rihanna tells you exactly how it all went down in the 2006 MTV interview below.
