We've been on Diggy's steeze for a minute now, but it's time for the rest of y'all to start paying attention. He hails from the Simmons clan (he's Rev Run's kid -- that would be the Run from Run-D.M.C.) and Kanye's already given him a certified thumbs-up (on Twitter, no less). He's been applauded for his ambitious cover of Drake's "Over" as well as "Flow Stoopid," his freestyle track set to Nas' "Made You Look." After success with his first mixtape in 2009 and signing to Atlantic in 2010, Diggy's just released his debut album, Unexpected Arrival, late last month. Now it's dude's turn to take over on his own, and we have no problem sitting back and watching him dominate.

We sat down with Diggy to discuss everything from following in his dad's musical footsteps to where he came up with the name Unexpected Arrival. Diggy also opened up about his feelings on the current state of hip-hop, and he had some pretty poignant words of wisdom, especially coming from a 17-year-old: "There's so much diversity right now. I definitely feel like [the hip-hop scene] is bringing it back to what it used to be... So many people have substance in their lyrics... so I just think we're bringing it back to making great, substantial music." Uhh, I didn't even know what the word "substantial" meant when I was 17. Well done, Rev. You raised a good one.

Nicki Minaj gets wet and wild in her new 'Starships' video.

Let's just call a spade a spade here, people: Nicki Minaj's "Starships" video makes absolutely no sense. If starships are really meant to fly (according to Wikipedia, they are, and through space!), then why did Nicki choose to have a tribal body paint party on the beach for her video? Who knows, but it really doesn't matter. The important thing here is that we'll all be on egg white and protein shake diets for the next three months trying to replicate Nicki's absolutely bananas figure. WHAT EVEN, I CAN'T.

Beyoncé texts and walks at the same time, remains flaw free.

Is there anything Beyoncé can't do? The newly named "World's Most Beautiful Woman" (not too shabby) was caught by the paps texting and walking at the same time in NYC recently, but the amazing part is that she was also smiling. Whenever I'm texting and walking at the same time, I'm narrowly avoiding poles (or the ends of piers like this poor woman), and I'm constantly frowning because auto correct! It's like, really frustrating. (Also known as #firstworldproblems.)

Do you guys think Beyoncé would be one of those new moms who flood your Facebook newsfeed with photos of Blue Ivy? And new mom questions like, "Hey mom friends, wondering which toy aquarium is best for Blue's crib. I don't want it to keep her awake. Any recos??!?! Thx!!!1!!!" NO. Beyoncé would not do this, because Beyoncé is the epitome of COOL. Instead, she'd post professional photos of Blue on her Tumblr in between her gorg vacay shots. Not that I'm harping on my mom friends (I am), but we could all learn something from (the imaginary Facebook behavior of) Beyoncé.

So, in case you haven't been to the gym yet today, you're probably going to find time to work that in your schedule after watching our exclusive sneak peek of Nicki Minaj's "Starships" video. It's a short clip, but it's still enough to get googling who the hell Nicki's trainer is.

In the "Starships" preview, we see Nicki frolicking on the beach in a pink bikini and green wig. (Much more riveting than it sounds, I assure you.) Under a washed-out lens, Nicki jumps around in the water as she raps, and we get a whole new understanding of her nickname "Harajuku Barbie." Um, she basically looks like a Barbie. Head to toe.

Guys. Something bad happened. Well, in our opinion at least: We're down to the Sweet 16 in our EPIC Battle Of The Boy Bands, and the results are going to shock you. "Why," you ask? GREAT QUESTION. Because Backstreet Boys AND *NSYNC seem to be missing from the list ENTIRELY.

But that's how these fan tournaments work, guys. It's up to the fans to vote for the best boy band ever, and apparently us BSB and *NSYNC voters didn't cut the mustard. (Why is that a saying?) But the silver lining here is that there are still many bands in the running who we're pulling for (but obviously we can't let you know who... our secret!). Justice will prevail!

+ Check out the full list of the 16 bands left in MTV's Battle Of The Boy Bands after the jump, and cast your votes in Round 2 until noon on Monday, April 30. May the best boy band win! (Except BSB or *NSYNC.)

Kimye make another appearance!

I hope this doesn't cause us to get too much hate mail, but I'm kind of really feeling Kanye West and Kim Kardashian as a couple. There are so many things working for them: First and foremost, Kanye's name starts with a "K." We all know how crucial that is to Kris Jenner, Kim's mom. Second, they're both super popular on Twitter, so they can commiserate about all the mean tweets they probably get from haters (to the left, y'all). Third, look at them in this photo!!!!!! I don't have a degree in biology or whatever, but I've seen plenty of Discovery Health shows and read my fair share of Cosmo to realize this is probably a photo of a couple in love.

Kimye stepped out for yet another date night last night, and cameras caught them coming back hand in hand to Kanye's apartment. Ooh la la! We won't bother them about what goes on behind closed doors, but all we wanna know: WHERE DOES KANYE LIVE AND WHAT DOES IT SMELL LIKE IN THERE?

Even though we can't wait to see who will be taking home MTV Movie Awards in categories like Best Onscreen Transformation and Best Onscreen Dirtbag (can I nominate some people IRL?), we're really in it for the music. Mine are.

The 21st annual MTV Movie Awards air live Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET/PT from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.

Rihanna headed to the Time 100 gala in NYC

I mean, I can't with this Rihanna photo. She is just the prettiest person ever. Ri stepped out in NYC yesterday looking hella Cinderella as she made her way to the Time 100 gala. If y'all didn't hear, Rihanna was voted one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people. She's right up there alongside Tim Tebow, Hillary Clinton and President Obama. And I guess when you're super duper mega important like that, you get to go to a gala dressed like the queen of the ball. Allow us to remind you Ri is only 24. WE KNOW.

As for what went on during said gala that most of us will never be invited to, Rihanna tweeted, "Well....2nt consisted of us singing Bob Marley, drinkin Vintage Scotch, and my mom thinkin a joke abt Kutcher was appropriate!" So apparently the Time 100 is just like Thanksgiving at your drunk uncle's house... or something. Rihanna: Always keepin' it real.

If we found out The Wanted's "Chasing The Sun" video was literally four minutes of the five Brits watching paint dry, we'd seriously have no complaints. We're like, obsessed with these bros right now. But thankfully, we don't even have to lie -- their new "Chasing The Sun" video is right up our alley. Think partying all night, flirting up a storm and piggyback rides from the boys. Oh, yes, I said "piggyback rides."

"Chasing The Sun" opens with the five Wanted dudes on a rooftop singing about their new loves: "I'm better/ So much better now/ I see the light, touch the light/ We're together now." We see the boys make their way to a late-night party where they're toasting over beers and dancing with pretty girls. Eventually, each one of them pair up (we're guessing this happens a lot?) and it's off to the after party with their new girlfriends for the night. The group eventually find themselves at some kind of makeout party, and things are going swimmingly. (Remember the one Stephanie Tanner went to? Scandalz!) But then, whoops, all the girls turn into... well, we won't spoil it for you, but it's generally not the best thing you can find out about your new girlfriend (aside from finding out she hates pizza or something sacrilegious like that). "Chasing The Sun" takes on a whole new meaning once The Wanted's night is over. Muahaha!

How do we get a Neon Hitch fan makeover?

You might recognize Neon Hitch for her fire engine red hair or lack of clothes in her "Love U Betta" video, but just like all wacky British pop stars (?), homegirl has a softer side. She recently got the chance to meet some of her fans face-to-face, and we have the super adorable photos to prove it. We even have a video, because you kids these days need your videos and your Facebooks and your Twitters with everything. (Sorry, Drunk Uncle somehow got in that paragraph.)

Neon spent some QT with a few lucky fans -- she told them cute stories in her cute accent, and she even let them play with her face paint and headdresses! And then they all went outside and took photos together so the fans could prove that it really happened! JK, so they could have a fun bonding session with their fave artist. Pretty legit of you, Neon. Also, we'll take one of those headdresses if you have an extra lying around.

+ Check out more photos of Neon Hitch and her tribe after the jump, and watch a video of her hanging with some lucky fans below!
