Chris Brown and Justin Bieber goof the hell out at their Billboard Music Awards celebration dinner.

It's not likely that you'd see a cheesy thumbs-up from the person who basically invited the word "swaggy," but Justin Bieber breaks boundaries, y'all. Snapped recently with pal Chris Brown while they sat down for dinner, Justin showed off his most dad-like hand gesture while Chris turned his face into some kind of Jim Carrey ish circa the "In Living Color" days. (Look it up, young people.) Justin tweeted, "i will have the pasta. very nice," while Chris shared on Instagram, "Celebration dinner! We live our fans! But we hungry too!" (He probably meant, "We love our fans." But maybe not. Free country.)

We're guessing that celebration dinner probably had something to do with the Billboard Music Awards -- Justin took home the Top Social Artist award while Chris nabbed R&B Artist Of The Year. Yep, just a couple of award-winning buddies out for dinner, giving you the thumbs-up. Nothing to see here, move along.

I'm wondering what would happen if I told Beth Ditto that Gossip's new video "Move In The Right Direction" reminds me of Deee-Lite's "Groove Is In The Heart." She's pretty feisty, so she should know I mean it in the best way possible -- sometimes all you want is a lady and her band dancing in front of a green screen. Also, fish eye lenses!

Katy Perry brings her grandma to the Billboard Music Awards, we swoon.

While some might have been expecting Katy Perry to bring her rumored new beau, Florence + The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, to the Billboard Music Awards, Katy instead asked her adorable grandmother to join her. Which is just more reason to love Katy Perry -- she's always surprising us AND she loves her grandma!

It was a big night last night for Katy as she stunned the crowd with her acrobatic "Wide Awake" performance and received the Spotlight Award for tying Michael Jackson's record for most No. 1 singles off of one album. While those might have been the standout moments of the evening for Katy, we have to say our standout Katy moment was actually Grandma Perry's cane. CHECK THAT THING OUT, y'all. Sure, Katy looked gorg as usual in her striking Blumarine lilac gown, but Grandma done got her cane bedazzled. I know we're reaching the moratorium for this word, but I'm pretty sure this event calls for one final utterance: SWAG.

Chances are you've heard Kimbra's voice once or twice before. Actually, if you've lived on planet Earth for the past year or so, you've probably heard her guest verse in fellow PUSH alum Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" at least 100 times by now. But Kimbra's been a solo musician in her native New Zealand since she was just a little girl. She debuted her first music video on the New Zealand children's TV show "What Now," and she sang the national anthem in front of 27,000 people when she was only 10 years old. In the years since (there's only been 12 of them), she signed with new management and relocated to Australia. Kimbra's first single, "Settle Down," was released in late 2010 to critical acclaim, and of course you all know the aforementioned megahit "Somebody." And here we are -- Kimbra's our PUSH artist of the week.

Get to know the girl from Down Under in our performance and interview videos. The "Warrior" singer sits down to discuss her unique take on fashion -- "It's important because it's an extension of the sonic world" -- and the intricate body paint she donned for the cover of her debut album, Vows. Speaking of body paint, Kimbra let us in on how long that Gotye "Somebody" video took to shoot, and how she's probably had enough body paint experience for a while: "Then [after the Vows cover shoot] I went on to do a 12-hour shoot for the Gotye video, so I've had a lot of experience being naked with copious amounts of paint on my body." Not sure anyone's necessarily complaining about that.

Kimbra's Vows is out now on Warner Bros.

Can we just talk about Garbage and how effing rad it is that they're back with a new album? A new album, Not Your Kind Of People, after seven years of no new tunes? Oh wait, Sam Lansky already did that for us. (See his latest Pop Think column, "Why I'm Obsessed With Garbage's New Album, 'Not Your Kind Of People,' And Why You Should Be, Too.") So instead I'll talk about MTV Hive's Garbage livestream as part of their "Live In NYC" series.

Shirley Manson & Co. will hit the stage for the first time in seven years (having lost not an ounce of their street cred) on May 22. Tune in to Hive's livestream to catch all of their new jams and hopefully some old favorites. And don't be ashamed if you pick up a box of red Feria before the show. The '90s can live on through your dye job despite what your boyfriend says!

+ Celebrate Garbage's new album and check out their "Live In NYC" livestream on May 22 at 9 p.m. ET on MTV Hive.

Kimye are so nice to each other, we can't handle it.

It's a little disturbing just how happy I am for both Kim Kardashian and Kanye West regarding their romantic relationship. I seriously, SERIOUSLY feel like these two are deeply in love and should get married and have beautiful babies until the end of time. Kimye were spotted yesterday in London, probably on their way to some fabulous event, and Ye made sure he had a good grasp of Kim's hand. All together now: "Awwwww!"

Relationships are tricky and no one ever knows how things will end up, but fans will get a good look inside K + K's situation when Kanye makes some guest appearances on the upcoming season of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." Kim's been pretty mum about their dating scenario, so the new season of the show will give all of us curious minds a little insight into how their relationship is playing out. And according to her sister Khloé, Kim is "so happy." Keep on keeping on, Kimye.

So we've already told you guys about some cool-ass s*** that's gonna go down at the O Music Awards this year – MTV's going to attempt to break another world record! As we previously told you, one courageous musical act is hitting the road in an effort to beat Jay-Z's current record of the most live concerts in 24 hours in multiple cities. The artist will board a bus and zigzag across the Southeast hitting a total of eight cities, starting in Memphis and ending in New Orleans. Oh, and it's gonna be the world's first 24-hour, livestreamed awards show, so you can watch the whole thing the real time. Breakin' records all over the place.

Now, naturally we can't stop wondering who this artist is going to be. We'll find out Wednesday, May 23, who these brave heroes are, but being on the inside of things at MTV, we’ve come across some solid clues as to this mystery musician's identity. Here's what we're thinking.

1.) What if it's Jay-Z trying to break his own record?
2.) Better yet -- what if Beyoncé's trying to break her husband's record! (BRB, booking a Memphis hotel.)
3.) Or -- and I just gave myself a heart attack thinking about this -- what if the OMAs mark a Britney-Justin Timberlake duet!?!?!? They ARE from the South! You never know.
4.) Paramore! They’re also from the South, and they’re heading out to the UK this summer, so maybe this would be a warmup?

Who do you think will attempt to break Jay-Z's record of the most live concerts in 24 hours in multiple cities for the O Music Awards? You'll find out Wednesday, May 23, but in the meantime, guess away!

Yo, Taylor Gang: Clear your schedules for Sunday, June 3, because your boy Wiz Khalifa is set to hit the stage as a performer at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. Wiz will be performing his song "Work Hard, Play Hard," the debut single from his upcoming album, O.N.I.F.C. Big deal status, y'all.

Wiz will join previously announced performers fun. on the Movie Award stage (but not at the same time -- at least we don't think). Also on hand for the Movie Awards: Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, and Mila Kunis as presenters. And of course, the host with the most (hilariously uncomfortable sense of humor): Russell Brand. Can someone put me on the guest list, please?

+ Head over to MovieAwards.MTV.com to vote for your favorite flicks, and catch all the star power during the 21st annual MTV Movie Awards, airing live Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET.

At least someone gets some joy out of baggage claim.

As glamorous as it might seem to fly around the world all the time, spending hours on end in airports is actually the pits. They like, trap you there with all those pesky security measures and stuff. Ugh. But at least three-fifths of One Direction found a way to get their s***s and giggles at baggage claim. The dudes landed at Heathrow yesterday and got right back into their British tomfoolery. Look at Liam sitting on those pieces of luggage! Wacky!

Given that a half-eaten piece of Niall's toast was sold for $100K (no, really), what do you think these suitcases would go for? This is prime 1DDNA (One Direction DNA), y'all. That ish does not come cheap. I would tell you my maximum, but I'm afraid that one day they might actually auction a piece of 1D luggage off, and I'll have to buy it -- and then you guys would know what "a year's worth of rent" costs me. And frankly, we're not that close.

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to be in a relationship with Nicki Minaj, her new "Right By My Side" video (featuring Chris Brown) gives fans a pretty good idea. A Nicki boyfriend (played here by Nas!) would be responsible for gifting Nicki some posh-ass s***, like designer shopping sprees and expensive cars I can't identify. But she'll return the favor with a ton of slo-mo hair tossing. Fair trade, IMHO.

Director Benny Boom is really in love with the slo-mo effect, and we can't be that mad at it -- "Right By My Side" is a slow jam, y'all. Let's save the strobe lights for later. (Or for "Starships.") The clip opens as Nas starts loving up on Nicki hard: he buys her a new whip, he takes her shopping on a Rodeo Drive look-alike street, and then he just smokes a cigar on the hood of a car for a little bit. (Guys need their alone time, ladies. Don't smother them.) Chris Brown steps in for his verse, which is basically just him on a sound stage, and then the video ends and you're wondering if there was a story arc you missed. Nicki does look sad when she's seated alone out by the grotto or whatever, but we're not sure why -- she just got a bunch of new clothes! And a car! Silver lining, sister. Look for it.

"Right By My Side" is Nicki Minaj's latest single off of her album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, out now.
