Bestie alert: Darius Rucker and Nelly! Also, WHOA.
First came the bromance between Jay-Z and Kanye West. Next, we saw a bestie-blackout between Justin Timberlake and Jigga. And now?? Nelly and Darius Rucker??! Surprisingly, YES! Because in one of the most shocking events of the 2013 CMT Music Awards, Nelly, the hardcore rapper, is in an intense BFF situation with Darius Rucker, the super-important country singer and former frontman of '90s alternative act Hootie And The Blowfish!! WE CAN'T.
But perhaps this makes a little more sense than we originally thought? Nelly was on hand to perform his crossover smash "Cruise" with Florida Georgia Line. But, before his performance, Nelly and Darius were snapped mid-handshake backstage! Aside from the genuine look of happiness to see one another, we're kind of dying to know if there's some secret handshake action going on? Like, is there some intricate hand-slapping and finger-twinkling that went one before and after this candid moment? Because these bros seem like they're in on the same damn joke, and we wanna know what is IS!!! That, or maybe they're scheming up a collabo? Perhaps a reinterpretation of "Let Her Cry"?? 'Cause that'd be DOPE! Either way, WE WANT INFO.

Here's Miley Cyrus enjoying a lollipop at Facebook HQ!
Needless to say, we can't stop listening to Miley Cyrus' new single, "We Can't Stop" (sorry, I've tried to resist saying that for days). And now, to further induce our Miley blackout, MTV News caught up with the singer en route to premiere "We Can't Stop" at Facebook HQ, where she candidly discussed the inspiration behind her Mike WiLL Made It-produced track (the first off her forthcoming album), her party girl tendencies, and her similarly raging work ethic.

Hunter Hayes loves music, but he loves cars ALMOST as much. Almost.
Sup, #Hayniacs! So, usually we're here to bring you crucial music-related deets on your king, Hunter Hayes. You know, like, news that "Wanted" singer is going out on his "Let's Be Crazy Tour" tour with supporting act Ashley Monroe, the fact that he's slated to perform at the 2013 CMT Music Awards tonight in Nashville (starting at 8 p.m. ET), AND the info that he's up for for three awards, including Video of the Year! But no, shockingly this post isn't about how Hunter is slaying the country music game dead. Instead it's about how in his latest "For The Love Of Music" webisode, we learn that if the music thing doesn't work out (what are the odds, though?), bro could totally be a badass race car driver! Like, who knew??

Joe Jonas takes it all off (his scalp) and cut off all his hair!
It's not since Miley Cyrus' drastic haircut that we've seen anyone so perfectly document their hair change! UNTIL NOW. Because, like Miley, middle Jonas Brother Joe has just chopped off all his hair! Oh, and to help us cope, Joe created a handy-dandy "haircut" photo guide (thank you x 10,000!). Everyone knows that the best way to internalize and process intense change is to "understand." Or at least that's what Google taught us.

J. Cole might have some unresolved dental issues in his new "Crooked Smile" track.
J. Cole's kind of having a moment here. Not only is his upcoming LP, Born Sinner, out June 18, but his latest track, "Crooked Smile," features TLC!!!! YES, "No Scrubs" TLC! We don't even know how to thank him for this much-needed dose of '90s goodness other than to buy ten thousand copies of his album, tweet about him a lot, and possibly name our firstborn son J. Cole. So, yeah, you'd better believe we're going to go HAM when that disc comes out/when we have a baby.

Before You Exit hunt for a beautiful girl in their "I Like That" video.
We'll come right out and say it: If Orlando pop rockers (and IRL brothers) Before You Exit don't make you go "awww" just a little, then there might be something wrong with you. (Your "awwww" reflex is probably defective -- you might wanna get that checked out.) Lucky for us, the adorable five-piece/mini Jonas Brothers have been sending frequent photo updates from their "Right Place Right Time" tour with "The X Factor U.K." finalist Olly Murs, and now we can't wait to watch their just-released "I Like That" video.

Listen to Selena Gomez's "Slow Down," the second single from her upcoming album.
Selena Gomez's new song may be called "Slow Down," but it's far from a slow JAM and it probably won't make you wanna "take it nice and slow" at ALL. (Sorry, but when you see an Usher reference, you take it!) Including some seriously danceable production from The Cataracs, "Slow Down" fits right in with "Come & Get It," and may or may not be the final nail in Sel's Disney coffin (gah, sorry for that image).

If you'll remember, Rihanna loves a good crotch grab.
We all know that Rihanna loves a good crotch grab, and honestly, we're, like, SO COOL with it. We first saw the "Pour It Up" singer grabbing a handful of herself a few months back when she took a classic "crotch-grab selfie," not to mention that one time she boldly ordered a special scoop of RiRi during her "Diamonds World Tour" stopover in Toronto. Now, Ri's back to her old crotch-grabbing tricks and busting out another one onstage in Montpellier, France. And also, since we're looking... SICK NAILS!
Here's the thing: We don't fault the "Stay" singer ONE IOTA for wanting to cop a feel of her gorgeous physique every now and then. Because when you're one of the most beautiful women on the planet (seriously, remember this look??), not only can you get away with all kinds of crotch grabs, but you’d be silly NOT to grab it! Like, you have full crotch grab-judgment immunity. Also, as a quick non-crotch-related sidebar: HOW good is Ri's hair these days? Those bangs be FIERCE. Go boldly into the night and grab on, sister!

Watch Beyoncé perform "Standing On The Sun" live in Antwerp, Belgium!
Ever since we first saw Beyoncé werque and twerk in her H&M commercial, we've been a little, how shall we say, EXTREMELY INTO the idea of hearing her upcoming jam "Standing On The Sun" in full. And now, in the interest of making our dreams come true, Beyoncé recently unleashed the full version of her new track (kinda) when she performed it live during her "Mrs. Carter Show World Tour" stopover in Antwerp, Belgium.

Miley Cyrus' new single "We Can't Stop" has finally arrived!
The anticipation of Miley Cyrus' new single, "We Cant Stop," has slowly been killing us, but now we can attempt to restore ourselves because the Mike WiLL Made It-produced track has officially dropped! Slated as the first song off her forthcoming album, "We Can't Stop" hails the entrance of Miley's totally grown-up new sound, and also the end of any teeeeny tiny trace of Disney in her whatsoever! Because did we mention "We Can't Stop" is REPLETE with NSFW references? Like, a lyric about an illegal substance everywhere you turn? So, join us in saying "PEACE!" to the sunshine-y backyard BBQ party vibes of "Party In The U.S.A," and please welcome the twerkin' in da club, Molly-poppin' Miley!
