Justin Bieber pulled the BEST April Fools' Day prank on the paparazzi!
Justin Bieber hasn't exactly seen eye to eye with the paparazzi lately, so who could blame him for wanting to give them a taste of their own medicine? NO, we don't mean that Justin went after anyone with a camera, but he DID pull a HUGE prank on the paps in honor of April Fools' Day! (Anyone who's seen Justin's "Punk'd" appearances knows that JB is the Prank King -- just ask Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, or Sean Kingston if they're over theirs yet.) This time around, Justin traded in stars for star hunters by pranking the eff out of gossip and entertainment site TMZ. (That sound you hear is the collective cheering of everyone in Hollywood.)
Early Monday, Justin tweeted out (but later deleted), "As promised taking all fan phone calls TODAY at (888) 847 9869. Talk to u soon!" Well, as you could guess, the number did not lead to a Justin Bieber hotline like the pop star hotlines of yesteryear, but it was the number for TMZ's personal tip line. After sending this out to his nearly 37 million followers on Twitter, we could tell Justin was pleased with the prank's outcome:
Uh yeah, they did. And here, my friends, is yet ANOTHER example of why we should all hail Justin Bieber, the ultimate Prank King. ::Bows::

Ne-Yo shut down Spring Break with his performances of "Let Me Love You" and "Let's Go."
Spring is finally here!! And while the majority of us are celebrating by shedding our down jackets in favor of, uh, slightly lighter jackets (SPRING BREAK IN NYC, WOO HOO), a lucky few got to have THEIR spring break at mtvU's 2013 Spring Fix! That's right: United Way joined up with MTV to create an alternative spring break for students to help rebuild areas hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. But it wasn't all work: mtvU spring breakers got to catch a free concert from Ne-Yo! Giving back AND getting a show from one of the hottest R&B stars in the game? Amazing! All that's missing is James Franco posing as Riff Raff!

Chris falls for a mafia boss' daughter in his latest video for "Fine China."
It's no secret that Chris Brown has partly modeled his music after Michael Jackson. He's repeatedly referred to Michael Jackson as his greatest influence, an influence that is all over Chris' latest video, "Fine China," from his upcoming sixth studio album, X. And although he regularly reaches back in time to channel The King Of Pop's footwork and finely sliced vocals, Chris' latest clip is actually set in a "Looper"- like future, with him going up against a menacing mafia boss. You can imagine how well that goes over for Breezy.

Tyler, The Creator plays with dolls in his "IFHY" video.
We can't even begin to imagine the things Tyler, The Creator has come up with as the director of Odd Future's music videos. With his twisted humor, raw emotional vision, and musical talent shown in clips like "Sam Is Dead" and "Domo 23," it's clear he's got some major cinematic ambition going on. In his new video for "IFHY," the latest from his upcoming album, Wolf, Tyler plays a doll (with full-on plastic makeup) in a toy playhouse with a lady figurine he can't seem to shake. Basically this is like if Barbie's Dreamhouse was a Nightmarehouse or if the toys in "Toy Story" belonged to Sid instead of Andy. SOMEBODY POISONED THE WATER HOLE.

MGK hits the streets of L.A. with pro skater Ryan Sheckler for his "Skate Cans" video.
MGK's been everywhere lately: Not only is Mr. Kelly prepping a follow-up mixtape to his amazing Lace Up, but he's just wrapped up his 2013 MTV Woodie Awards hosting duties (and we've learned of his proclivities for nipple clamps). Nowadays, the "Wild Boy" is back in the music game with his latest video for "Skate Cans" (from the forthcoming Black Flag), and he's not alone -- MGK's joined by pro skater and former "Life of Ryan" star Ryan Sheckler!

DeLon seduces his lady in a lavish mansion in his "Pretty Girls" video.
Does anyone know how to get Los Angeles rapper DeLon's day job? In his latest clip for "Pretty Girls," he's rhyming in an ENORMOUS mansion and wearing a super dapper suit, while his model girlfriend CANNOT decide which designer dress to wear (been there, girl... except for the designer part). With his rapid-fire switching from rapping to singing that reminds of Drake and vocals that recall John Legend, we can see why all the "Pretty Girls" would flock to DeLon.

Trinidad Jame$ returns to the Caribbean in his "Female$ Welcomed" video.
If nothing else, Trinidad Jame$ is a guy who is proud of his homeland. He's SO proud, in fact, that one of MTV's 2013 Artists To Watch literally made it part of his name (he was born "Nicholas Williams," just in case you were wondering). That said, we couldn't think of a better way for Trinidad to follow up the MASSIVE "All Gold Everything" than by returning to his homeland in the video for "Females Welcomed," from the mixtape Don't Be S.A.F.E. Who says you can't go home again?

Check out these vintage photos of Lady Gaga for her 27th birthday!
Happy Birthday, Lady Gaga!! We can't quite believe it, but you've been an ENORMOUS part of our lives for the better part of a decade. And yes, we know you're, like, the biggest star in the ENTIRE galaxy (also, remember when you were in "Men In Black 3"? Heh), but we've been repping for you since the very beginning. We knew you WHEN. So, what better way to celebrate your 27th birthday than with 27 vintage photos of you? (We also considered 27 meat dresses, but it's technically still Lent.)

Passion Pit throw a creepy forest dance party in their "Cry Like A Ghost" video.
When Passion Pit isn't making collabos with Juicy J (we're STILL not over that), the electro-pop group is busy filming its own heartfelt and unique videos ("Carried Away" and "Constant Conversations" to name a few). Their latest clip for "Cry Like A Ghost" falls into the latter category, featuring a young woman having a one-person dance party in a creepy forest as she thinks about all of her ex-boyfriends (otherwise known as our typical Friday night). It's basically like if Tim Burton decided to curate Ultra Music Festival and schedule it on Halloween.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs tell a creepy story in reverse for their "Sacrilege" video.
When the Yeah Yeah Yeahs dropped their new song "Sacrilege" last month, we could hear the drama swell in the powerhouse indie-rock track. Now that the cut from their forthcoming album Mosquito (due April 16) has a proper video, we had NO IDEA how right we were. Starring model/actress Lily Cole, the clip unfolds a tawdry, creepy story of one woman turning a small town upside down. (Don't be offended if you live in a small town, it's just art 'n' stuff.)
