Howdy do! Since leaving St. Louis, we've been to Omaha, Nebraska, Denver, Colorado and Salt Lake City, Utah. We are now in Oregon locked in the "edit bus" as it's been dubbed because ... well ... it's full of editors. Five in fact. We are cutting a live video for a song called "Closer To The Edge" and simultaneously waiting with baited breath for the FX to be finished for the video for "This Is War." I saw two teasers that were sent over from France, and they looked incredible. Very exciting. They should be out in a day or two, so keep an eye out!

Headed to Kurt Cobain's old town of Seattle tomorrow for a show. Hard to go there without thinking of him. It's amazing how impactful one artist can be. Especially someone that gifted.

Can't believe this tour is already almost over!!! We only have a week left of the North American Into The Wild Tour, and we'll soon be heading back to our home city of Los Angeles for a long-awaited and well-deserved break of a whole ... one day. :) True, we have about 24 hours in L.A., and then they are shipping us back to the U.K. to play the BBC Radio 1 festival. Hope to see you all there. Can't wait!

Come join us for the California shows, and help us celebrate the end of the tour!!!

May 13 – Oakland, CA, Fox Theater
May 14 – Santa Barbara, CA, Santa Barbara Bowl
May 15 - Los Angeles, CA, Greek Theater

The St. Louis Arch bidding us farewell.

Some new friends we made.

Twilight in Nebraska.

The line outside the bus for the Denver show.

If you weren't at your computer on Friday, April 30, you missed the live stream of the Gorillaz performing at London's Roundhouse. We wish we could show the whole gig, which was great.

Their performance featured tracks from the new album Plastic Beach with special guests Mos Def, De La Soul, Bobby Womack, Snoop Dogg and more. Plus The Clash's Mick Jones and Paul Simonon were a part of the backing band.

Since we can't bring you that gig, we'll give you a taste with videos of a recent performance by Gorillaz on the British show "Later ... with Jools Holland." Here are videos of "Stylo" and "White Flag." Be ready to be grooved by Damon, Mos Def and many more.

In case you're wondering what's been up with Gorillaz of late, a lot has changed for the virtual supergroup since their album Demon Days. There's been much madness, mayhem, kidnappings and explosions. Evil Svengali Murdoc Niccals has taken over the fantastical floating island of garbage known as Plastic Beach.

With airborne pirates hot on his heels and moaning whales surrounding Plastic Beach, Murdoc Niccals clearly has just one choice: Plan a massive party, and let the new Gorillaz album loose upon London and the world. All you have to do is watch the cyborgian experience unfurl.

Just to give you an idea of how great the Roundhouse show was, here are photos from Gorillaz's Roundhouse show on Thursday, April 29. (And yes, that's Snoop and De La Soul.)

Trey Songz is no stranger to memorable moments on stage. From his surprising smooch with Toni Braxton at the Soul Train Awards to his recent turn as the latest "MTV Unplugged" performer, the Virgina native seizes opportunity more than The Situation during last call.

MTV's Jayson Rodriguez sat down with Trey Songz and had the "Panty Dropper" and MTV PUSH artist recount some of his most memorable moments on stage.

+ Trey Songz, on his his first solo show after touring with Jay-Z as a part of The BP3 Tour.

"That night, that was at the end of the show, and I was looking to walk off stage and get things together. But then I see my manager on stage, and I'm like, What the hell is going on? 'Cause I saw him on stage like two songs before that and I thought somebody f***ed up or something, because he didn't come on the stage. So when he came out with Michael Kyser, an executive at the label, and they presented me with the plaque (his album "Ready" was certified Gold), it was a great moment. After the tour, it's my show, I been on support with Jay-Z for a month before that, and this was my first sold-out show after that, in New York City. Being presented with the plaque and to be able to see the Vibe magazine cover story for the first time, it was a moment. And I got to share with with my fans, and that's what I cared most about."

+ Trey Songz, on sharing the stage with Stevie Wonder at the 2010 BET Honors:

"Throughout my time performing I've had a million great moments. Kissing Toni Braxton at the Soul Train Awards was one of them. But performing with Stevie Wonder at the BET Honors, and he actually performed a piece of "I Invented Sex" -- which is my song -- to have an icon like Stevie Wonder performing my record and to be up there with him, when he was making music before I was born! So without him there's no possible way I could have been here, or a lot of artists, for that matter."

+ Trey Songz, on sharing the stage with Drake following his knee surgery:

"I remember when Drake came back performing for the first time after having surgery, and he had a cane, and it was me, him and Lil Wayne on stage. He was back in Toronto. I could go on for days about great times on stage, great moments, and they continue to happen. 'Cause in the end, that's what it's about, being remembered for those great moments. It's like the first time you saw Michael Jackson doing the Moonwalk. You never forget that."

+ Plus: Watch Trey Songz's MTV on-air videos to see why Trey's a ladies' man, how he stays focused and how he prepared for his "MTV Unplugged" performance.

In anticipation of the Monday, April 26, premiere of Trey Songz's "MTV Unplugged" special, we met with Trey himself to get his take on stripping down his performances and joining the chosen few who've performed on "MTV Unplugged" throughout the years. Check out the interview below and peep photos from Trey's "Unplugged" taping here and another look at Trey Songz's performance.

By Jayson Rodriguez

The series "MTV Unplugged" has created some of the most memorable moments in music history, whether it was the restrained emotion from Kurt Cobain during Nirvana's "About A Girl" to Jodeci's raw rendition of Steve Wonder's classic "Lately." Trey Songz realizes he's venturing into a rare fraternity as the latest artist tapped to perform an acoustic set, premiering Monday, April 26, on MTV.com. We sat down with Trey Songz to get his take on joining the elite rank of "MTV Unplugged" performers.

"At this point in my career, with all the opportunity arising, this is definitely a major highlight within those opportunities," he says. "I saw a write up on MTV.com, and they described my performance as a star-making set. That's crazy to read, and I think "Unplugged" has been that for so many people. It's a chance to highlight an artist, a chance for them to be vulnerable, a chance for them to contort their music and give it to people a different way. To show that I'm truly an artist and that I love to do what I do, making music. To do it on that platform, the same one as so many artist before me is just really amazing."

The young singer was fresh off of opening for Jay-Z as a part of the legendary rapper's The BP3 arena tour when he took the stage at Manhattan's NEP Studio 33.

MTV P.U.S.H. (Play Until Someone Hears) Artist of the Week Neon Trees have been busy out on the road with 30 Seconds To Mars. We've been bringing you 30STM frontman Jared Leto's tour diaries, but we thought we'd give you another perspective of the Into The Wild Tour from the Neon Trees gang. Check out their dispatch from the road, below.

By Tyler Glenn

Yesterday we were all talking about how it's felt like we have been gone from home for two months, but really it’s been a little more than a week. This wasn’t out of complaining, but more out of awe and excitement from what we’ve seen and what we have yet to see.

Las Vegas was crazy. It was such chaos and anticipation. Meeting 30 Seconds To Mars was nice, and Jared Leto was very cool and nice. We both arrived with the same haircut, bleached blond and everything. He was gracious and dyed his pink. Luckily it's the Into The Wild Tour, so anything goes!

Tucson, Arizona, was such a good time, and It was our first experience playing a radio festival! So many people were out early for our set. I have to mention that Muse played and was a total sensory treat!

I feel like we were getting into the groove of playing. I felt back in my stride and all of a sudden supercomfortable in front of these big crowds.

The thing is, when you are in a band, you wait and wait to be able to play giant stages in front of thousands of screaming people. Then it happens, and you’re doing it and you have no time to think. I feel like we are all becoming an even better band than I thought we were, with every night.

Let’s talk about the highlight cities for me: Tulsa, Oklahoma, the first show I felt was like a Neon Trees show. Thank you, Tulsa!

Milwaukee was a total punk-rock show, we played spazzy, and the crowd was super radical. We even covered a quick version of The Violent Femmes' "Blister In The Sun" as a tip of the hat to the city.

Detroit was a stunner as well. We were able to play the entire record "Habits" live! Every song! And it was so fun and cathartic. The crowd was so radical and ate up our quick nod to Motown with Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On"!

In this installment of Jared Leto's 30 Seconds To Mars tour diaries, we find the band as they make their way out of Vegas, through the desert and into the Midwest, with stops at the Grand Canyon along the way. Read about life on the road, check out Jared's photos and check out 30 Seconds To Mars' epic tour videos.

After leaving the insanity of Sin City, we went to play KFMA Day in Tucson, Arizona, with Muse. We went on stage right at sunset, and it was magic. Thanks to our family in Arizona for such a great show, and to the guys in Muse for coming to watch our set.

Left Tuscon and took a day off at the Grand Canyon. We picked a random spot and pulled over to climb around and explore, and I quickly realized I had stopped at the EXACT same spot when I drove across the country to Los Angeles for the first time well over a decade ago. Of all the gin joints ... serendipitous.

A beautiful day with the gang and then out of nowhere a snowstorm. Weird but great. Got on the bus, ate a yam and some homemade guacamole, and off we went.
