One of the many, many outfits Katy Perry rocked when she hosted the MTV Europe Music Awards a few weeks ago was a not-so-subtle nod to her boyfriend Russell Brand's favorite soccer (or football for non-Yanks) club, West Ham United.

You can imagine the flutter of hearts felt across London when Hammers fans saw Perry decked out in a claret and blue bustier, thinking to themselves, "Cor blimey, wish my missus would get dolled up like that!" (that was my cockney impersonation, btw).

Well, now your missus (or any other lass) can get their paws on Perry's West Ham lingerie. The club, responding to, "huge demand," have contracted the original designer, Siobhan Dillon, to make a limited run of the outfit, running a measly £300.

West Ham are currently mired in a fight for their Barclay's Premier League survival (that means they're not doing well at playing soccer), so I guess they need all the support they can get (pun, sadly, intended).

While it's well-documented that Taylor Swift's songs are rooted in personal experiences, part of Swift's appeal is her ability to translate the intimate details of her life into witty, memorable lyrical turns of phrase.

With that in mind, it should come as no great shock that Taylor Swift will soon be creating a line of greeting cards.

Swift, who will be teaming up with American Greetings Corp. on the cards, said via a press release, "My idea of a great song is a song that says how I feel better than I could. I feel the same way about greeting cards."

Look for Swift's line of cards in the "Getting Over A Break Up," section (amongst other places) of your local greeting card emporium next spring.

Ever since Lady Gaga released The Fame last August she has established herself as the most vital new pop artist to emerge in recent memory. She's become a fashion icon, a regular tenant at the top of the charts and a cultural force to be reckoned with.

So it would stand to reason that she should be, at the very least, nominated for a Grammy in the  Best New Artist category, no?

Well, due to a controversial technicality, Gaga is ineligible for said award, due to being nominated previously in separate Grammy category ("Just Dance" was nominated for Best Dance Recording last year).

To be honest, it's not like Gaga needs the exposure. But still! Give her props, National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences!

I don't know about you, but I feel like a petition may be in order. Someone register Gaga4Grammy.com, ASAP.

But you've never seen a fire like the one Beyonce causes in her brand-new "Video Phone (Extended Remix)" video, in which B's got guns -- and Gaga -- blazing. Kids, don't play with guns unless you're shooting fashion flames.

Watch Beyonce go fluorescent-futuro beast mode, show off her freaky-deaky Bettie Page side, and get in lockstep with Lady Gaga in a pair of white-hot one-pieces in "Video Phone (Extended Remix)," directed by Hype Williams, who lives up to his name, as always.

"I Kissed A Girl"

Katy's second single gets a cabaret jazz send up, attendant with stand-up bass and torch singer vocals.

"Lost"

Described as one of the more personal songs on her album, One Of The Boys, Katy gives a little background to the ballad "Lost," before performing a heart-rendering version of the track.

"Ur So Gay"

A sly insult to an ex-boyfriend with a flair for H&M scarves, it's the song that announced Katy Perry's arrival to the music world. "Ur So Gay" gets a a horn-heavy revamp.

"Thinking Of You"

One of the more delicate songs from One Of The Boys gets a tasteful string accompaniment. A lovely performance of a track that clearly means a lot to Katy.

"Hackensack"

You can totally see why Katy Perry would be a Fountains of Wayne fan. They both excel at tying together often humorous concepts with a real heart beating underneath. Here, Perry covers FOW's lovelorn "Hackensack" from their Welcome Interstate Managers album.

"Waking Up In Vegas"

Katy's lost weekend anthem gets stripped down, but loses none of its power or charm.

"Brick By Brick"

Katy ends with an all new song. "Brick By Brick" almost seems as if it was written for the Unplugged setting, as it highlights her lovely guitar playing and beautiful vocals.

Britney Spears' Twitter followers (all 3,756,910 of 'em) are usually treated to relatively tame announcements and insights such as, "Can't wait for ya'll to see my new video tomorrow morning. I think you're really going to like it!"

So it probably came as quite a shock to the system last night when Britney started Tweeting about the dark prince Lucifer, sometimes known as Satan, but best known to his pals and associates as The Devil.

Despite her past run-ins with instability, Britney was not getting her kicks on Route 666. It seems some crafty hacker got into her Twitter account and took the opportunity to give "glory to Satan!"

This was all cleared up by morning, with Le Brit's Twitter page scrubbed of any pentagrams and Illuminati references (you can see all the pagan imagery here). An explanation was posted that stated, "Britney's Twitter account was just hacked. The situation has been resolved and we apologize for any offense the hacker's messages caused." (Phew! That was close!)

Just to be sure, I think it's best if you watch Britney's new video, "3," as well as this rare performance from the 1999 MTV Europe Music Awards to see if she's throwing out any subversive messages.

As Lady Gaga's The Fame: Monster's official release date looms on the horizon (the re-issue of Gaga' 2008 album, peppered with new tracks is due on November 23rd), it's only natural (given the way things are these days) that bits and pieces will start leaking.

We've already consumed and processed "Bad Romance," a reunion of Gaga and her go-to producer RedOne ("Poker Face," "Just Dance"). Now we get "Dance In The Dark, produced by Fernando Garibay (who's worked with Britney and Will.I.Am).

I am no Nostradamus/Amazing Kreskin, but this joint has "batten down the hatches; we've got a hit" written all over it. It's got a crunching techno beat with rough keys draped all over it. But more importantly it's got one of those patented Lady Gaga mantra-style hooks (especially the pre-chorus chant of "She's a mess/She's a mess/She's a mess")

Behold: the My Little Gaga (found on World Of Wonder via Buzzfeed). It's Lady Gaga... as a My Little Pony. Kasurinen has rendered several popular culture icons as My Little Ponies, including Princess Leia, Edward Scissorhands, and the alien from, well, Alien.

I doubt Lady Gaga would take any offense to being represented this way. If anything she's probably just annoyed that she can't throw one of these into the super deluxe version of The Fame: Monster. (Or can she?)

Kevin Jonas! He's a year older! The senior member of the Jonas Brothers singing and rocking and "Bounce"-ing ensemble has turned 22, and we're all here to say, mazel tov, homie!

Nick and Joe stay mugging for the cameras and breaking young girls' hearts and having said young girls write tunes about them (coughTaylorSwiftcough... and is that a Demi Lovato rumor we're hearing?), but Kevin Jonas will always be the big dude behind the dudes.

Mariah went and trumped Lady Gaga's super deluxe edition of The Fame: Monster (lock of hair included), BY THROWING A DAMN YULE LOG IN A BOX WITH THE REISSUE OF HER HOLIDAY LP.

But, hark, I was wrong. But it's still awesome because Ms. Glitter is warming up your Christmas with a virtual yule log. The DVD fire burns while Mariah's holiday standards warm your soul.
