Coming at you from L.A. post-VMAs is this week's episode of "Bigger Than The Buzz"! Buzzworthy's very own Tamar Anitai and MTV News' James Montgomery sat down to discuss big VMA news and surprises in episode 6 of the most hilarious short-form pop culture web show to ever hit the internet in all of eternity. (Just my completely objective opinion.)

Up first, THE COOLEST BABY EVER!!!! In case you missed it, Beyoncé announced her pregnancy at this year's VMAs, first on the red carpet and then officially at the end of her performance of "Love On Top." As expected, the audience went crazy, and don't even get me started on the cut to Jay-Z after Beyoncé rubbed her belly. I will cry real tears in front of you. Do not even.

In addition to the Beyoncé/Jay-Z news that almost broke Twitter, at the VMAs we also found out that Katy Perry dances like your mom. No, seriously -- there is video evidence of Katy Perry dancing to Beyoncé's performance, and she's doing the adorable "I'm not really sure how I should be moving right now because this song is kind of mid-tempo so I'm just going to step from side to side and clap my hands" dance. Oh, and she's wearing a block on her head, so like, WATCH THE VIDEO.

And of course, what kind of VMA wrap-up show would this week's "Bigger Than The Buzz" be if Tamar and James didn't discuss Lady Gaga going full-on DUDE. Lady Gaga showed up to the VMAs (and stayed that way for the entire evening) as Jo Calderone, her male alter ego (and Adam Goldberg's seriously uncanny doppelgänger). And it turns out homeboy is a playaaaah. Kissing Britney Spears AND rubbing up on Snooki? Be careful, Jo. Lady Gaga's s*** list is not one we want to be on.

When our "Bigger Than The Buzz" producers asked us which celebrities we'd want to appear on our episode 5 of "Bigger Than The Buzz," we had only three answers. Oprah, Kate Middleton and Joe Jonas. Oprah was busy (whatEVER), Kate Middleton declined but sent us a lovely box of macrons. And Joe Jonas stepped up to the plate, making him our very first celebrity guest! (Also, Oprah and Kate Middleton are OFF my Christmas card list.)

So, not only did MTV News' James Montgomery and I get to share a tall, cool glass of milk with Joe, but we got a chance to find out his take on the VMAs -- he's a VMA presenter, and he'll be kicking off VMA weekend by performing live at mtvU's VMA Concert to Benefit Lifebeat - Music Fights HIV concert with Cobra Starship and Miguel. And, since he's going on tour with Britney Spears, he told us what he plans to steal from her dressing room. Watch out, Brit. If your feather boa goes missing, you know who to call.

Also, inspired by my current favorite video -- Chromeo's dangerously fertile "When The Night Falls" video -- James, Joe and I discussed artists who are so hot they should come with their own birth control. Joe Jonas' answer: Michael Bolton. AMAZING! And speaking of babies, we speculated on Lady Gaga's VMA opening performance. If I were running things, I'd try to arrange for Lady Gaga to give birth to a baby Gaga wearing a meat dress. Wait... What? No? Not gonna happen? Okay, that's not gonna happen. She's probably got something even than that bigger planned.

We also got Joe Jonas' style tips for guys (specifically, for James). What it comes down to is that "fashion hurts." Amen, (Jonas) brother.

And for you Joe Jonas fans out there who wanna know what Joe's like in person, well, you probably won't be surprised to hear that he's not only incredibly down-to-earth -- he arrived on set with almost no entourage, excited to be part of the show ("I saw the show! It's really fun. But why milk?" he asked me before the cameras started rolling), but he's also dangerously funny and really knows his shiz when it comes to music. Actually, I'm a little worried they'll replace me with him. Anyway, big thanks to Joe Jonas for being our first celebrity guest on "Bigger Than The Buzz." (And also, please don't take my job.)

At this point, if you haven't seen the naked Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez statue, then consider yourself lucky. Okay, not that lucky, because HERE IT IS AGAIN! HA HA!

In this week's episode of "Bigger Than The Buzz," MTV.com's brand-new pop music and pop culture show, MTV News senior editor James Montgomery and myself (Tamar Anitai, MTV Buzzworthy Blog managing editor) debate the artistic merits of a naked Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez statue. (Conclusion: there IS NO ARTISTIC MERIT! IT'S HORRIFYING!)

We also ponder the pandemic that is popstar lap dancing -- Britney quasi-lap danced Pauly D, and he didn't look too unhappy about it. And just this past weekend, Nicki Minaj grinded on Drake, and Rihanna's become the patron saint of straddling. Is there some lap dancing lesson in popstar finishing school?

And, lest you fear all we as MTV music writers do is sit around talking about lap dances and weird naked art (well, you're 99 percent right), we shared the bands we're currently obsessing over -- Kentucky garage rockers Sleeper Agent, whose "Get It Daddy" single is making my entire summer and Portugal. The Man, who are both and incredible and Alaskan.

Watch Episode 4 of "Bigger Than The Buzz, and after the jump, catch up on Steve Urkel's musical career in "Bigger Than The Buzz" Episode 3! And check out Episode 2, featuring new band Emily's Army and a cat with a job, and episode 1, where we kill owling dead.

Did you miss Lady Gaga's latest "thing"? No, she didn't make a dress out of live babies. (Yet...) But she did transform herself into a guy -- like, very, very convincingly and artfully -- for the cover of her "You & I" single. What being a guy has to do with schlepping all the way from New York to Nebraska on foot, I do not personally know, but I'm open to learning about new ways of doing things. And I'm also pretty sure that's not actually Lady Gaga in drag. It's her alter ego, Jo Calderone, who's an auto mechanic from Italy. And on this week's episode of "Bigger Than The Buzz" -- MTV's new weekly pop music show --  James Montgomery and I discuss this gender-bending transmogrification and debate the merits and relative hotness of a male Gaga versus Jo Calderone versus our own personal tastes and desires. And somehow John Travolta got involved. And James confirmed that the members of Evanescence are, in fact, the nicest people on the planet and that if their music is not featured in "Breaking Dawn: Part 1" then there probably will be blood. You NEED to watch!

And remember Steve URKEL! WHO could forget America's most beloved and endearingly adorkable next-door neighbor of the 1990s? Well he popped up in Cee Lo's new video, "Cry Baby," and you best believe we chatted about that. And then we discovered that Urkel's got a long-lost identical twin. And you'll never guess who it is.

+ Watch Episode 3 of "Bigger Than The Buzz"! And check out episode 2 -- featuring a cat with a job -- and episode 1, where we kill owling dead. And if you can handle it, check out the "Bigger Than The Buzz" pilot if you think you can handle Trishii.

Last week on the premiere episode of "Bigger Than The Buzz," -- featuring the lovely and talented Tamar Anitai of this here lil' blog (@MTVBuzzworthy) and MTV News' James Montgomery (@postivnegativ) -- many a heated topic was discussed: What would be the most epic pop collabo of all time (Lady Gaga/Britney Spears?), the wild and krazy Kreayshawn, and OF COURSE, owling and why it must end.

This week, the duo brings you even more pop musings to... muse about. First, when it comes to what they're listening to, Tamar proudly admits that she's had Emily's Army (featuring Billie Joe Armstrong's 16-year-old son Joey) on repeat this summer, while James is all up in Foster The People's grill. In addition to summer tunes, T & J discuss MTV's Dirty Thirty (we just turned 30, send flowers) as they view some "exclusive archival footage." And finally, what would a pop music web show be without a little of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's "PON PON PON"? Trust me, brosephs -- you're gonna wanna watch this acid trip WTF is this I don't even unique display of creativity in moving picture form.

Oh, and P.S., there's a cat manning a grill!!!! Too much, y'all. I can't.

That's me, Tamar Anitai, and James Montgomery, demonstrating the absurdity of owling and why you absolutely should not do it.

Last week on the pilot episode of "Bigger Than The Buzz," MTV.com's brand-new pop music show hosted by myself, Tamar Anitai of Buzzworthy (THAT'S THIS BLOG!) and James Montgomery (aka @positivnegativ, if you'd like to read his angry, ranting Tweets), we delved into the intriguing, oddly befuddling trend of pop stars like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry morphing into mermaids. Mermaids are the new Twilight, y'all. Which led us to creating the first-ever Lady Gaga centaur. We also tried to detangle the mystery that is "Popstar Trishii"'s terrifying "Kiss Kiss" video. Watch at your own peril. And we placed our bets on some VMA nominations, which came out this week.

That's James Montgomery from MTV News and me, Tamar Anitai from the MTV Buzzworthy Blog. The comical height difference is why we're taping this thing sitting down.

You know that pop-culture-obsessed, know-it-all friend who keeps up with every new band, every music (and cat) blog, every tabloid and every tweet? The one who's high-strung and long-winded and has opinions about EVERYTHING? Well here at MTV, that's basically me and MTV News' James Montgomery! I'm Tamar Anitai, and I started the MTV Buzzworthy Blog. (AND YOU'RE WELCOME!) James Montgomery is MTV News' senior music writer and resident music snob expert, and each week he effuses, muses, rants and waxes poetic in his "Bigger Than The Sound" music column. Contrary to any sort of logic or good judgment, the powers that be here at MTV decided to give us our little web show (thanks, "powers!") where we'll be getting together every week to talk about all of our favorite -- and not-so-favorite -- things happening in pop music and pop culture. The show's called "Bigger Than The Buzz" (and that's a Buzzworthy + Bigger Than The Sound play on words for any of you playing along at home).

For the pilot episode of "Bigger Than The Buzz," we covered MERMAIDGATE 2011, wherein both Lady Gaga AND Katy Perry are somehow morphing into mermaids. And we talked about "Popstar Trishii" (click at your own risk), whose "Kiss Kiss" video is so thoroughly appalling that it makes any music video that any of those Real Housewives Of Wherever made look as artistic as "Thriller." And, since the 2011 MTV VMA nominations will be announced tomorrow (FINALLY!), we placed a few bets on who we think will be nominated for a VMA this year. I cast a not-at-all official vote for Rihanna's hair.

Anyway, "Bigger Than The Buzz" is just starting out. It's a total work in progress (so basically, the next episode will look like Citizen Kane), and we want your feedback. Watch it if you have a few minutes (I swear, it's short!) and tell us what you think of the show. What do you want to see more of? Less of? None of? All of? Basically, you're like our free focus group.

Follow me on Twitter at @MTVBuzzworthy and James Montgomery at @positivnegativ. And thanks for watching MTV.com's new online pop music show, "Bigger Than The Buzz." We even managed to work in a centaur.
