Duders, the men of the Myriad don’t actually live in the basement of a circa-1840s church in New York. (We were disappointed too when we found that out.) The current MTV Artist of the Week is actually from Seattle, which, to them, sometimes feels less like Nirvana-land and more like Narnia and inspires the band’s soundscape, or, what bassist John Roger Schofield refers to as the sound of “10,000 times 10,000 ships on the sea with their sails.”
See what else you didn’t know about the indie rock band and their cinematic sound in a brand-new “Discover & Download” interview. But be careful — you could end up with a speeding ticket. Or a baby. Consider yourself warned.

There’s stuck-in-your-head bad, and then there’s stuck-in-your-head good. And, happily, we’ve had the hypnotic, looping, guitarmonies that carry the chorus of “I’m Not Over” — Chad Wolf’s breakout hit, which you’ve probably heard during major drama on The Hills — practically lifting us off the sidewalk for a month now. Thankfully, for the sake of our sanity, we’ve finally got his whole album, Coming to Terms, to listen to.
Hear the whole Carolina Liar album a week early on “The Leak,” and check out our exclusive interview with Chad Wolf.

Not everyone can be in two places at once, but Ludo isn’t everyone. Watch as they almost pull it off by attempting to play two shows in two cities in two days, threaten the welfare of an innocent child on a plane, enumerate the pop culture highlights of Seattle, and literally tell you to go f— yourself. Lovingly, of course.
Watch their fourth tour diary video below, catch up on 1 - 3 here, and check out Ludo’s exclusive photo gallery.

Yesterday we posted our interview with tireless Tokio Hotel fans Josselyn and Amada, who were standing outside of the MTV building last week, waiting to see Tokio Hotel on TRL.
Today, meet Katarina (left), and Monica (right), both 18, who both boldly battled airport hell to fly here for the big event.
Buzzworthy: What do you love about Tokio Hotel?
Katarina: Pretty much what everybody does — they got their own sound, they defy genres. Being formed outside of the U.S., they didn’t really conform to any musical industry standards. And also, just their lyrics are really meaningful to everyone. That’s one of the main drawing factors to them.
Monica: They have really good songs. And they have their own sound. Their lyrics are meaningful and make me feel better when I feel down.
BW: Any lyric in particular?
Monica: The song “Live Every Second,” because it tells you to live your life freely, not to follow the rules.
BW: Do you have any lyrics that are particularly meaningful to you?
Katarina: “Break Away.” It’s just describing breaking out and doing your own thing and needing to live life apart from everybody else. It’s just really really powerful.
BW: How’d you first find out about the band?
Katarina: About a year and a half ago I was on vacation in Europe, and I saw one of their videos. And I just kinda got hooked. And then, you know — the Internet.
BW: Do you have a favorite Tokio Hotel member?
Monica: Yes! Bill!
BW: If I could get you alone with, Bill — and I’m not saying I can — what would you say to him?

Slide to the side, Chris Kirkpatrick. The boy bands of Bandemonium — Menudo, NLT, Glowb and V Factory are going where no four boy bands have gone before together at the exact same time: the 17-gig Bandemonium tour.
They started out in Vegas, and they’ll end in Orlando (home of the boy band). But in case you’re not keeping up, they’re currently rolling through the Midwest, spreading their infectious pop sounds, razor-sharp in sync dance moves, impressive hair and heavenly dimples along the way. They’re also spreading goodwill through approachability — and the occasional free ticket. But most importantly, they’re sending Buzzworthy dispatches from the road.
In their first Buzzworthy tour diary, the men of Menudo take you on a tour of their bus — highlights include where they write lyrics, where they heat up their pizza, and where they “get goofy” — and hit up a local mall for some promotional love.

Gossip singer Beth Ditto swears there’s no idle chatter to be bandied about over the Portland punk trio. Sure, she’s pals with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. And yes, she posed completely nude on the cover of NME. And oh yeah, she might’ve called Britney Spears “hideous” that one time.
But trash talk aside, the group itself is something to be talked about. Gossip (formerly The Gossip) first electrified tastemakers with “Standing in the Way of Control,” (a song about the U.S. government’s anti-gay marriage stance), which features Beth’s powerhouse, tent-revival vocals, and landed on NME’s 50 Greatest Indie Anthems Ever list. Then they reached just about everyone else with their MTV Artist of the Week spots a few weeks back.
In our exclusive interview, Beth, along with guitarist Nathan Howdeshell and drummer Hannah Blilie, talk about dropping the “the” from their name, how Beth toured with a broken foot, and their new CD/DVD Live in Liverpool.

Last night’s finale of The Hills Season 3 was all about cool-but-sticky nights, low-cut dresses, and short skirts: Heidi’s Vegas power outfit, Justin Bobby’s chronic unkemptness, Lauren’s roommates-and-crab-legs tie-dyed dinner dress (and that boobalicious one-strap LBD — oh my!), Whitney’s ’80s-in-a-good way party frock, and the throngs of prom-a-be partiers making very merry on the many balconies at The Hills bash.
But no one brought the sexy harder than Usher, who performed “Love In This Club” live at the big event, which was held at the Beverly Hills mansion — a private residence (!!!) that’s bigger than any club we’ve ever seen in our lives.
High above L.A., wearing sunglasses at night, screaming girls pulling at his leather jacket, commanding the spiral staircase, Young Jeezy on back-up, and with more flashing lights than a Kanye video, Ush looked like king of The Hills.
Watch the performance below, and get behind-the-scenes dirt on The Hills, the bash, and the cast at the Remote Control blog.

Jason Mraz: singer, songwriter … magician? Apparently, Jason started dabbling in magic (coin tricks, to be exact) while working on his new album, We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things, out today. In fact, he’s so into his new hobby that he took a magician on the road with him during his Music, Magic & Make Peace Tour.
But Jason’s love for sleight of hand doesn’t end there. He has also released three bonus EPs featuring demos, live performances and acoustic versions of songs that appear on his new full-length studio album. One of those EPs, We Steal Things, includes some “stolen” cover songs.
See what Jason had to say about the connection he feels between music and magic and why he decided that releasing one album’s worth of new material just wasn’t enough.
+ Plus: check out exclusive photos of Jason Mraz here.

We have a long-standing opening for a personal cheerleading squad with electro-dance leanings, and the Ting Tings are just the band for the gig.
Their new album, We Started Nothing, isn’t out until May 20, but you’ve absolutely already heard “Great DJ,” “That’s Not My Name” and “Shut Up and Let Me Go” all over your TV for weeks now, hyping everything from iPods to Speidi drama on The Hills. And now you can hear the full-length album a week before it hits stores, on The Leak. But hurry up and listen before your hipster friends swear they were soooo into this album back in like, 2005.
+ Plus, watch the Ting Tings’ “Great DJ” video.

Lights, camera, lipstick, action! Maroon 5 and Rihanna’s be-corseted new video, “If I Never See Your Face Again,” makes breaking up look almost as hot as hooking up.
Check out their new love-how-much-I-hate you clip, directed by Anthony Mandler, who directed Rihanna’s “Shut Up and Drive” and “Don’t Stop the Music” videos. It’s a synthed-out celebration of revenge, lust, well-tailored suits, satin sheets and seductive posturing.
