Selena Gomez is a dead ringer for Richie Tenenbaum!

So, we all know that Selena Gomez has the movie star glamour thing down to a science (see her VA-VA-VOOM vintage Harper's spread). But while other pop stars like Rihanna like to channel old-school stars (Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast At Tiffany's"), Sel is a little more indie/modern with her film selection. For example, here she is borrowing Luke Wilson's Richie Tenenbaum look from Wes Anderson's "The Royal Tenenbaums"! Headband, shades, and all!

The "Come & Get It" singer was snapped shopping in Los Angeles, and we just can't shake how uncanny the Richie likeness is. Even if she was actually trying to cover up while hitting up the shops (just like her maybe/maybe not boyfriend Justin Bieber), we can spot an incognito attempt when we see one. Hey, for what it's worth, Selena does look pretty great for posing like a disgraced tennis pro! But if she starts wearing a fur coat year-round, chain smoking, writing plays, or losing fingers, then the "Royal" film re-creation has officially gone too far.

Vampire Weekend host an indie Last Supper in their new "Diane Young" video.

Vampire Weekend have always had a predilection for the artistic in their music videos, whether it was the Baroque silliness of "Holiday" or the every-lyric-is-literal approach in "Cousins." So for "Diane Young," from their new album, Modern Vampires Of The City (which just hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart), Vampire Weekend take on one of the most iconic art pieces of all time: Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper." But instead of using Jesus & Co. as their inspiration, Vampire Weekend seated all of their indie rock friends at the table, like Santigold, Sky Ferreira, members of Chromeo, Dirty Projectors... just to name a few.

NEW ALBUM RELEASES

+ Queens Of The Stone Age...Like Clockwork: For Josh Homme and Co.'s sixth studio album, original bassist Nick Oliveri returns and Dave Grohl keeps the beat on most of the tracks (he last drummed on QOTSA's 2002 album Songs For The Deaf). Homme told MTV News the band went through a dark period, which informed their new material. "This record was like finding a way out from there to where we are now... so this is the most current, real, raw thing that we've ever made," he explained. QOTSA released a series of creepy, nightmarish animated videos that illustrate the dire album themes. Watch "My God Is The Sun," "I Appear Missing," "If I Had A Tail" and "Keep Your Eyes Peeled" via Rolling Stone. QOTSA enlists several guests on the record, including his wife Brody Dalle, frequent collaborator Mark Lanegan, Trent Reznor, Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner, Elton John and Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears.

+ The MaineForever Halloween: On the Arizona quintet's fourth studio effort, and second album they've self-funded and released independently, they juxtapose '90s alt-rock sonic flavors against more soul-searching, solemn lyrics, such as on the Buzzworthy Obsession track, "Happy," where frontman John O'Callaghan sings of self-doubt (as opposed to what the song name implies). Produced by The Raconteurs' Brendan Benson, the 12-song set may deal with melancholic themes, like relationships gone awry ("These Four Words") and disillusionment ("Love & Drugs," "Birthday in Los Angeles"), but the hooks and emotive choruses make feeling bad something of a good thing.

Sleeping With SirensFeel: Last we heard from the Michigan-based emo-metal-pop outfit Sleeping With Sirens, they dropped their "Roger Rabbit" video for the acoustic and R&B-driven track that appeared on last summer's acoustic EP If You Were a Movie, This Would Be Your SoundtrackFor their third full-length album, they plug their axes back in for their 12-song set. Check out the driving, anthemic kiss-off "Congratulations," their single "Low," and "Alone" featuring MGK. Also: Catch the guys on Vans Warped Tour, which commences June 15 in Seattle.

Check out more new album releases, upcoming TV appearances, and performances after the jump.

This should have been the best year of Joey Bada$$' life. To date, he's worked with the likes of Big K.R.I.T., DJ Premier, Pete Rock, and Q-Tip; he was named one of MTV's Artists To Watch in 2013; and he's gearing up to release his first full-length album, B4.Da.$$. But some of that joy was taken away when his dear friend and fellow Pro Era member Capital Steez took his own life last December.  Watch San Cisco cover Daft Punk's "Get Lucky."

Indie-pop quartet San Cisco do Daft Punk justice with a cover of "Get Lucky."

We didn't think it was possible to fall any more in love with Australian indie four-piece San Cisco, especially after watching their emoji-filled "Awkward" video and hearing about their obsessions with infomercials, dogs in shoes, and YOLO. But we know when to admit when we're wrong. Because it IS possible to fall more in love with San Cisco, and it's all due to their brand-new cover of Daft Punk's ubiquitous "Get Lucky" featuring Pharrell. (And it may also have a little bit to do with how cute Scarlet Stevens looks at the drum set.)

One Direction's Harry Styles as the best man at his mom's wedding is THE BEST.

Harry Styles was the best man at his mom's wedding! AHHHHH.

We're pretty positive the internet broke for a solid 12 hours this weekend after the above photo of One Direction's Harry Styles and his mom, Anne Cox (or "mum," as Harry says, because BRITISH!!), surfaced. That's right: Harry served as best man at his mother's wedding this weekend, because who wouldn't want that face plastered EVERYWHERE in the wedding photos? (Oh, and also probably because Harry's stepdad, Robin Twist, has been in the picture since Harry was 7 and has a loving relationship with his stepson. But also the face thing!!)
