  1. Obsessively blogging about pop music, pop videos, pop stars, and pop culture from inside the MTV headquarters in Times Square. We also have a slight Jonas Brothers problem. And a little fixation with Tokio Hotel.

Eminem ripped last night's show wide open with a medley that included "We Made You," and "Crack A Bottle," (which, come to think of it, was not the only "crack" that Eminem got into last night). Squinting ferociously out from under the brim of a low-slung baseball cap, Eminem dropped in on last night's MTV Movie Awards (before Brüno dropped in on him) to show the world just what a career relapse looks like.

Stuntin' out in front of a jumping brass band, the slimmed-down Shady (who announced his weight as 175) made it hard to believe he'd ever been gone. Watch his performance below, and catch an encore of Brüno's crotch-first crash-landing, after the jump!

Last night was a really big deal for Kings Of Leon, but it's hard to imagine them stressing it too hard. They always play it so cool. But nervous or not, Tennessee's Followill brothers (and cousin) had one of the biggest rapt audiences of their young lives last night, and they flat-out killed it on whoa-oh anthem, "Use Somebody."

The Only By The Night single won the boys plenty of new admirers last night, but they already had some high-profile fans in the audience. Zac Efron (who won Best Male Performance for High School Musical 3: Senior Year) and Robert Pattinson (who won pretty much everything else) to name two! The show's studliest guests (although those Followills give 'em a run for their money!) both have their iPods loaded up with Kings Of Leon.

And as we've told you before, Miley Cyrus (who fist-bumped God for making "The Climb" Best Song) and Taylor Swift (who popped up in the Twilight segment of Andy Samberg's intro) have big crushes on KOL bassist Jared Followill. So, it's no surprise that the 2009 MTV Movie Awards gave Kings Of Leon a very warm welcome, and kept clapping well into the commercial break!

Watch their full performance of "Use Somebody," below, and see what Hollywood's all worked up about.

If you're like Kim Scott, you prefer Eminem in short, repetitive doses. At least that's why I assume she married and divorced him so many times. Anything more than a blip would have been too much. Well, Kim... Boy have I got a video collection for you!

In case you haven't heard, Eminem is this week's Featured Artist on MTV. To mark the occasion, the 2009 MTV Movie Awards performer is releasing an exclusive five minute mini-movie of a return visit to his high school (a sort of Relapse, if you will). You better believe we'll be posting that one here.

But the movie's not ready to go, yet. So, to kick things off, we're rolling out a set of exclusive live videos that would make Kim's head spin. They feature Eminem just how she likes him -- performing "We Made You" and "3AM" in ten exceedingly digestible 30-second clips!

Watch "We Made You" and "3AM" below, get stoked for his Movie Awards performance May 31 and stay tuned for Eminem's trip back to high school, appearing here, the second it comes in!

One more MTV Movie Awards (voting is now open!!) announcement, and that show might just break off and become its own country! The details are still scant and vague, but we've got a big one to add to the list. EMINEM HAS SIGNED ON TO PERFORM! God I wish I had 2009 MTV Movie Awards host Andy Samberg on instant messenger so I could get his reaction to this major news. I bet you he'd say something like, "Yeah Daniel, that's amazing. How was your weekend?"

As you obviously know, Eminem just put out a new video called "We Made You," to hype up the release of his comeback album, Relapse. Think he'll do "We Made You" at the awards? I bet he's got something real special planned. As you know, Eminem always brings it with a vengeance when he plays MTV's award shows. He's always front page news the next day!

In case you weren't born in 2000 or you just need your memory jogged, here's a sweet French bootleg of Em's history-making performance of "The Real Slim Shady" at that year's MTV Video Music Awards. Do you think it was awkward for all those dudes in white t-shirts to stand there and look at Eminem while he rapped in their faces on the street? I woulda felt nervous for sure. Enjoy!

More 2009 MTV Movie Awards news coming soon!

Seth Rogen kept us on our toes yesterday when he was at 1515 for TRL. With the insanity that is Tokio Hotel Fan Week, we weren't sure we were gonna get anywhere near the new king of comedy. But at the last minute, we got the call that Seth had a few minutes to spare. We quickly dropped everything and rushed to the studio, where the laid-back actor cordially answered all the questions we threw at him.

We talked about everything, from his new movie Pineapple Express to his love of '80s pop-rocker Huey Lewis. He even poked fun of the smoky stunt he and James Franco pulled at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards. Here's what he had to say...

Buzzworthy: What did you actually smoke on the set of Pineapple Express?

Seth Rogen: It's called Wizard Smoke. It's, like, a benign plant. It'll probably kill me in several years, but I guess it's just like oregano. Honestly, I don't know what it is. [Laughs.]

BW: What's your all-time favorite stoner flick?

SR: That's a good question. There's been a lot of debate as to what is or is not actually a "stoner flick." Like, is The Big Lebowski a stoner movie or is it just a movie about a guy who smokes weed a lot? Is Dazed and Confused a stoner movie or are there just stoner characters in it? So, I would say The Big Lebowski, if you count that. If not, I would say Friday because that is a pure stoner movie in my mind.

BW: Did you feel pressured to pull off a good stoner flick with Pineapple Express?

SR: Yeah, definitely. I mean, I had to look my own friends in the face again at some point, and it would have been such a humiliating failure if I couldn't write a weed movie. [Laughs.] So, yeah, I felt a lot of pressure, mostly from myself though.

BW: Are you happy with the end result?

SR: I am. I love it. Honestly, I watch it and can't believe they let us make it.

Since it's Friday and we're all counting down the minutes until we go suck down some Lobsteritas, we figured we'd help you pass the time by posting our hands-down favorite moment from the 2008 MTV Movie Awards: The Mike Myers/Chris Brown Dance-off. Sure, Chris has the apparent advantage -- what with his ridiculous catlike reflexes and decade or so of technical dance training -- but Myers keeps things close, breaking out old-school moves like The Robot and the always-effective "Tummy Roll." So check out this manly, and surprisingly competitive dance war. It's far and away the best competition-style choreography we've seen in the post-Spartan Cheerleader era.

Last night's 2008 MTV Movie Awards had a little something for everyone, with moments ranging from silly – as in The Mike Meyers/Chris Brown 'Dance-Off' – to serious – as in Coldplay's awesomely intense performance of "Viva la Vida"– to sexy – as in the Pussycat Dolls' sultry rendition of "When I Grow Up." And while you may never want to relive the experience of seeing Rainn Wilson in his almost-birthday suit, feel free to enjoy the on-air musical performances one more time.
