Cillie Barnes hosts the summer's first garden party in her new "Brainwash" lyric video.

With the weather warming up, it's hard not to fantasize about backyard BBQs, cold beverages, and impromptu outdoor shows lit only by twilight, vintage chandeliers, and leftover Christmas lights. And just in case you couldn't wait any longer to commandeer someone's backyard with beer-filled mason jars and kale chips, now you can bridge the gap from May to June with Cillie Barnes' "Brainwash" lyric video: a haunting, lush indie folk ballad and the Los Angeles singer's first single since her time as Vanessa Long with Family Of The Year. (Oh yeah, she changed her name!) But unlike Family Of The Year's sparkly pop indie ensemble approach, Cillie channels the mysterious manic pixie alt-folk vibe of Thao With The Get Down Stay Down -- so it makes perfect sense that "Brainwash"'s lyric video would produce a romantic, flea market-y, "summer in Brooklyn" feeling. Check it out below.

Watch Ginny Blackmore's "Bones" video.

Ginny Blackmore laments a less-than-perfect relationship in her "Bones" video.

Word on the street is Auckland, New Zealand songstress (and accomplished songwriter) Ginny Blackmore wrote "Bones" in one night during a "girly, emotional moment" which may or may not have involved a bottle of wine. (How all great anti-love songs begin, obviously.) So of course this means that not only is Ginny our actual spirit animal, but even if she didn't sound like the perfect hybrid of Kelly ClarksonSkylar Grey and Kate Bush, and EVEN if her "Bones" video wasn't a gorgeously shot emotional roller coaster, we would be still be OBSESSED with her.

Watch Austin Mahone be swarmed by fans in Mexico City!

Girls are literally CLIMBING TREES to catch a glimpse of Austin Mahone in Mexico!

Don't get us wrong -- we knew that Austin Mahone had a lot of fans (AHEM, MAHOMIES). We even knew that he had extra-famous fans like Selena Gomez! (Honestly, who ISN'T gonna Stan hard for Austin's IMMENSE guns?) But did you know that MTV's Artist To Watch has (approximately) the most fans in Mexico City? No, really. Like, ALL THE FANS. And they'll stop at nothing to swarm the "Heart In My Hand (Live On The Beach)" singer should they catch an in-person glimpse of him. That said, it's time to watch a video of Austin's Mexican Mahomies going HAM for him outside Universal Republic's Mexico City offices! But maybe don't watch if you're scared of huge crowds, unfettered squee-ing, and fangirls in trees. Yes, you heard us. We said, "FANGIRLS IN TREES."

Watch Janelle Monae and Erykah Badu's funky new "Q.U.E.E.N." video.

Janelle Monáe twerks it out in something fierce in her brand-new "Q.U.E.E.N." video.

HOO boy. We THOUGHT we knew what it was like to miss soul-funk pioneer Janelle Monáe in the time between 2010's The ArchAndroid and her upcoming sophomore effort, The Electric Lady. We also felt another twinge of "we need more Janelle solo stuff!" after her appearance on fun.'s "We Are Young." But now, after watching Janelle's hyper-stylish, black-and-white video for her powerful Erykah Badu-assisted jam "Q.U.E.E.N.," we are ENTIRELY aware of just how empty life was without Janelle and her unbeatable tuxedo-ed swagger.

Emblem3 give an exclusive look at their "lavish" tour life.

Emblem3 gave us a thorough tour of their 'Goin' Back 2 Cali' road trip bus!

Emblem3 may have come in fourth on the second season of "The X Factor," but the brother + brother + bestie group (Wesley Stromberg, Keaton Stromberg, and Drew Chadwick respectively) are basically already pros at living the gig-to-gig rock star life. Now trekking cross-country on their "Goin' Back To Cali" road trip, Emblem3 aren't about to see the U.S.A. in a busted old hippie VW van (no offense, hippies)! Nope, the trio's hitting the road in a bona fide mansion on wheels! Well... sort of. At least that's how they describe it in their MTV "Cribs"-style bus tour!

Little Boots spends the night at a roller disco in her "Broken Record" video.

It's probably not a coincidence that "Broken Record," the first song from U.K. synth-pop darling Little Boots, is rhythmically punctuated by resounding church bells; when it reaches its enthralling peak, a night at the club (or, in this case, a roller disco) is a spiritual experience. The video for the track off her sophomore LP Nocturnes, out next week, brings just such a night to life.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon renewed their wedding vows.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon renewed their wedding vows DRESSED AS CINDERELLA AND PRINCE CHARMING.

NO WORDS. We have literally ZERO WORDS to say about the fact that Mariah Carey and her hubby, Nick Cannon, went all out for their five-year anniversary/ "Dem Babies" birthday by renewing their vows at Disneyland in a "Cinderella"-themed ceremony. Actually, we do have a few words, and they go like this: Renewing your vows at Disneyland is THE MOST Mariah Carey-est thing to do ever. Especially if you're Mariah Carey. She's out-Mariahed herself! This is actually even more Mariah Carey-ier than when she played her own song during her twins' birth. Girlfriend is COMMITTED to being a princess and making sweet fantasies a reality.

Listen to Alien Ant Farm's new song "Let Em Know."

Alien Ant Farm return from a seriously long hiatus with a new track, "Let 'Em Know."

When the going gets tough, the tough get back in the studio. That's the lesson behind "Let 'Em Know," a brand-new song from Alien Ant Farm (yes, that Alien Ant Farm), who are finally back after a lengthy hiatus. "You gotta get invincible, problems are minuscule," frontman Dryden Mitchell sings. We couldn't agree more.
