Thirty Seconds To Mars send animals running in their "The Race" lyric video.
While Thirty Seconds To Mars literally shot for the moon on their last celestial lyric video, "Conquistador," on this follow-up, "The Race," also from their upcoming LOVE LUST FAITH + DREAMS (out May 21), they bring the focus a little bit closer to Earth. But don't worry, just because the band has returned to their home planet doesn't mean that "The Race"'s lyric video is any less majestic, haunting, or packed with Jared Leto's grandiose ambition.

Buzz On alum Gilbere Forté is back with the Active Child-assisted "Nolita."
Don't say we didn't warn you that "Buzz On" alum and Philly rapper Gilbere Forté was headed for a Kanye-style career trajectory. (Just look to his collabs with Pusha T, Tyga, and Big K.R.I.T, as well as his recent sign to Epic Records!) And not to toot our own horn (or Gilbere's), but this kid is WELL on his way to fulfilling that Kanye prophecy (and general hip-hop game domination) with his latest track: the grimy, atmospheric, and RAAK-produced "Nolita," with supporting vocals from indie gloom masters Active Child.

Kelly Rowland airs some "Dirty Laundry" in her brand-new track.
We kind of want to give Kelly Rowland an e-hug right now! (We sent it! Hope she got it!) Because aside from our ploy to actually touch Kelly Rowland's shoulder, after listening to Kel's revealing new record, "Dirty Laundry," off her forthcoming Talk A Good Game album, we feel like maybe a few extra hugs couldn't hurt.

Aaaand the "Best Son Ever" award goes to Justin Bieber!
What did you get your mom for Mother's day? Chocolates? Flowers? A prepaid paraffin mani-pedi? Yeah, well, ZERO OF THOSE THINGS compare to what Justin Bieber gave his mama, Pattie Mallette, for Mother's Day. Justin could have gotten his mom jewelry, an expensive vacation, or her very own private jet, but nope -- instead Justin publicly serenaded his mom onstage during his "Believe" tour stopover in Johannesburg, South Africa! WE CAN'T. And fine, Pattie may have been the second lady Justin serenaded in South Africa, but this time there were FLOWERS!!!

Get "Turnt" UP with The-Dream, Beyoncé, and 2 Chainz.
If we have to wait a minute for a new Beyoncé album (girl is pretty busy with her "Mrs. Carter Show World Tour"), then we'll just have to get our fix elsewhere! Come to think of it, we have seen a recent influx of "Bey Bounty": First, we heard a snippet of "Grown Woman" in Beyoncé's Pepsi ad, Beyoncé covered Amy Winehouse's "Back To Black" for the Great Gatsby soundtrack, we heard a preview of "Rise Up" from the Epic soundtrack, and now we get to hear even MORE Beyoncé on an extended preview of The-Dream's new record, "Turnt," also featuring 2 Chainz.

It's time for another round of "5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week"!
This week's roundup features an early '90s throwback from a U.K. disco-pop princess, a sparkling comeback from an "X Factor U.K." alum, and some melancholy moodiness from a Swedish-Australian sister act. Read on!
1.) Katy B, "What Love Is Made Of"
Jessie Ware kept us disco dancing with her fabulously lush "Imagine It Was Us" last month, and now she's passed the mirrorball baton over to U.K. garage/alt-disco princess Katy B to keep the party grooving into the summer. "What Love Is Made Of" is Katy's brand-new single, which premiered on BBC radio last week, and it's a pure burst of early '90s house euphoria. "Let me see/ Give it to me," she commands above the almighty throwback synthesizers. One of the songs of the summer? No doubt.

Watch a mysterious trip back to the farm in Snowden's "So Red" video.
Here's a "Twilight Zone" episode for you: Snowden's "So Red" video chronicles a mysterious trip to a farm, featuring a runaway horse, wordless desperation and, um, extensive crotch shots. Nice pants, bro. The evocative video, produced by NY-based production house LANDED, leaves the plot loose, focusing on its handsome hero's arrival in the field after daydreaming of his pal the horse and making his way out to the country. It's a love story! The footage is more faded and sun-kissed than any particular color -- "So Instagram" is probably a bad name for an indie rock song, though.
