+ Good news, Glamberts! Looks like Adam Lambert may land at the top spot on the Billboard 200 next week, according to early sales reports. It's not a guarantee, however, as Carrie Underwood's Blown Away and Adele's 21 could surpass him. (Billboard)

+ Usher  has been through a lot the last few years, from divorce to a custody battle, and Looking 4 Myself reflects that. "There's an emotional side to it... it's no secret I went through some heavy transitions and in that I really came out new," he told MTV News during "MTV First." (MTV News)

Motion City Soundtrack

Motion City Soundtrack is ready to 'Go' places.

It's no surprise that the boys of Motion City Soundtrack have a thing for acceleration -- the band's curated singles series is dubbed "Making Moves," after all. But when it comes to their new album title, Go, the quintet says the word has several meanings. "I kind of realized the word 'Go,' in and of itself -- there's a duality to it. And with the songs on this album, it's kind of like you can look at it two different ways depending on your mood," Justin Pierre explains in our exclusive video interview. "'Go' can mean to leave, to give up, to give in, die, basically, or 'Go' can mean to choose life, to live, to experience, to exist."

Watch Motion City Soundtrack chat Go after the jump, and catch them at Bamboozle this weekend.

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to be in a relationship with Nicki Minaj, her new "Right By My Side" video (featuring Chris Brown) gives fans a pretty good idea. A Nicki boyfriend (played here by Nas!) would be responsible for gifting Nicki some posh-ass s***, like designer shopping sprees and expensive cars I can't identify. But she'll return the favor with a ton of slo-mo hair tossing. Fair trade, IMHO.

Director Benny Boom is really in love with the slo-mo effect, and we can't be that mad at it -- "Right By My Side" is a slow jam, y'all. Let's save the strobe lights for later. (Or for "Starships.") The clip opens as Nas starts loving up on Nicki hard: he buys her a new whip, he takes her shopping on a Rodeo Drive look-alike street, and then he just smokes a cigar on the hood of a car for a little bit. (Guys need their alone time, ladies. Don't smother them.) Chris Brown steps in for his verse, which is basically just him on a sound stage, and then the video ends and you're wondering if there was a story arc you missed. Nicki does look sad when she's seated alone out by the grotto or whatever, but we're not sure why -- she just got a bunch of new clothes! And a car! Silver lining, sister. Look for it.

"Right By My Side" is Nicki Minaj's latest single off of her album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, out now.

Sixpence None the Richer

Sixpence None the Richer is back and 'Radio'-bound.

We didn't realize it until right now, but we've been waiting for this new Sixpence None the Richer song since FOREVER. It's real! Take a deep breath! It's been 10 ridiculously long years since the band's last album and longer since "Kiss Me" won our hearts and soundtracked "Dawson's Creek" (in that order). But Sixpence jams are timeless, guys. On "Radio," the group's brand of guitar-pop and yearning melodies still sparkles like Katie Holmes' smile.

The cast of the Broadway production of 'Newsies'

Ummm, I'm not even going to tell you how many times I watched the original "Newsies" film as a kid, but the number is probably somewhere between 999 and 1,000 -- I was mildly obsessed. So you can imagine my excitement when I got word that the original Broadway "Newsies" soundtrack was being released! I had an even larger flip-out when I heard that we got our hands on some behind-the-scenes action and a sneak peek at the "The World Will Know,” one of my favorite songs from the movie and the Broadway show.

Today's installment of  "A Rap Video I've Been Eagerly Awaiting but Completely Forgot Was Coming" is this new joint 2 Chainz and Kreayshawn just dropped for their track "Murder." The internet went a little nuts back in January when photos from the Alex Nazari-directed video set we're released, and thankfully, the final video delivers on the song's promise of "murda." We see 2 Chainz and Oakland's Kreay Kreay giving in to "The Hunger" in a haunted hunting lodge, licking blood-covered knives and splitting a feast of raw (people?) meat.

It's Tuesday! Time for another round of "5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week"!

In case you haven't already heard (and really, my grandma already heard so you should be ashamed of yourself), Britney Spears and Demi Lovato are officially joining L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell on the judge's panel of next season's "X Factor"! What? That's in-sahne! I know! To celebrate the news, I've selected one song from each of the judges (well, and one "X Factor U.K." judge to round it all out) to celebrate their repertoire.

Seacrest out! (WAIT. Wrong show, wrong show...)

1.) Britney Spears, "Hot As Ice"

After weeks of negotiations, Britney's "X Factor" deal finally became a reality in late April -- as well as a reality show first: When all was said and done, Queen B made an icy hot $16 million on the deal, making her the highest-paid television judge in history, y'all (which is still a bargain, if you ask me).

In honor of the multimillion dollar deal, what better way to celebrate Brit Brit's legendary reign than with a spin of her 2007 Blackout brag attack, "Hot As Ice"? Produced by the unstoppable Danja, the springy number sees the Princess-turned-Queen of Pop merrily skipping on top of a space-age hip-pop beat while playfully massaging her ego. "New and improved, I'm saying thank you very much/ Living legend, you can look but don't touch," Brit Brit croons on one of the sassiest numbers in her back catalog. Though the song was released during one of the darkest periods in Queen B's career, it's still a standout. As you can see, fortunately, she's cold as fire... 14 years and counting! Viva La Holy Spearit!

+ LISTEN TO BRITNEY SPEARS, "HOT AS ICE"
