Lana Del Rey manages to keep her cool when signing autographs for a crowd of fans.

Lana Del Rey may be relativity new to the celebrity scene after making it big on YouTube and that little "Saturday Night Live" performance, but girl clearly has A TON of devoted fans. Being famous looks seriously intense, guys!

The "Video Games" singer was snapped in the midst of mayhem while devoted fans beg for her autograph. Judging by Lana's face, girl seems a little overwhelmed, but she flawlessly handles the crowd while remaining completely poised (and GORGEOUS!). If we were being bombarded by some unruly crowd hungry for our signature, we'd be foaming at the mouth and using our Sharpie as a weapon. (We don't condone violence -- drawing mustaches on fans that get too close is practically harmless.)

We hate to spill it to Lana, but she better get used to the pandemonium. Based on the recent success of her Born To Die album and the fact that the girl looks STUNNING in every single photo ever taken, she's going to be dealing with gazillions of admirers for very long time.

Synth-pop star on the rise Charli XCX

Whether or not you're looking forward to an evening of red roses, chocolate and Edward and Bella-level romance tonight, you'll have a new jam to keep you company. U.K. songbird Charli XCX has been making us fall in love since exploding online with single "Nuclear Seasons" last year, and today's "Valentine" has us even more head over heels.

The track sounds like Lily Allen remixed by the xx, but a bit more awkward: "I wanted to kiss you, I wanted to kiss you, but I can't get that close," Charli sings in the squirmy synth-pop track. We've been there, girl! She and Adele should get together over a heart-shaped box of See's Candies and dish on dumb boys. (Ummm, can that be our favorite new podcast already? "Love Lessons from Adele and Charli XCX"? And Ryan Gosling can be their first guest? Because we'd download the s--- out of that.)

Despite the unrequited feelings, the upbeat "Valentine" is a sunnier-than-usual effort from Charli, missing the post-apocalyptic synthesizers that cloud over "Nuclear Seasons." Maybe she'll dye her hair blue and make a big, silly pop album yet. Fingers crossed! Now if you'll excuse us, this chocolate's not going to eat itself. #caramelswag

"Mr. Valentine" is a sultry, reggae-infused R&B jam that speaks of a super hot hook up that's about to go down between Christina and a sexy mystery man: "Basement, lights down/ Feels like we're in Kingston/ The heat is melting off my dress, yea/ Sneaking kisses all up on my collar bone.../ Ya, ya, ya, Mr. Valentine." Really wish my Valentine' Day eve was gonna play out like that...

No word yet on whether the song will be included on Christina's much-delayed fourth album, but we're definitely digging on the tune and think she should run with it. Is "Mr. Valentine" a hit? Maybe not, but it's definitely a strong album cut and a great start to what is hopefully a killer comeback moment for Milian. Oh, and nice work releasing the record on Valentines Day, girlfriend. We have a feeling your new song will soundtrack a few hot hook ups tonight/ might be actually responsible for a one percent increase in the world's population. TMI? Sorry!

Flash forward to today -- I'll be 26 tomorrow and "Run To You" still gives me chills. I fall a little bit more in love with it every time I hear its deliciously retro, synth-tinted piano intro. While "Run To You" features several of Whitney's signature belting notes, it's also shows an airier, more vulnerable side to her vocals. And let us not forget that the record was nominated for an Academy Award in 1992 for Best Original Song. (It lost to "A Whole New World" from "Aladdin," ugh.) And did you guys also know this song almost didn't see the light of day? "The Bodyguard" director Mick Jackson loved the melody but needed a love ballad for the film. The entire record was re-written and only then did it make it on to the famed "The Bodyguard" soundtrack. Close call, guys. Close call.

It's in the wake of Whitney Houston's tragic death that I remember just how large a part her music played in my childhood. And, amazingly enough, I can almost guarantee that so many others from all different corners of the world have similar if not identical memories. And no, that's not a testament to the popularity of in-home karaoke machines in 1993, but rather just how powerful and just how far Whitney Houston's reach extended. We'll miss Whitney immensely but are comforted by the fact that her incredible catalog of music will remain live forever.

OMG... It's Valentine's Day, everybody! I hope your day is full of love, laughter and sugary confections -- whether you're trading teddy bears, chocolates and kisses with that special someone or you're holed up in your bedroom all night with a bottle of Merlot watching a "Real Housewives" marathon full of bitterness and resentment because this is the first time you're spending Valentine's Day alone in over six years!

What? Oh, no. Why would I be talking about me? That would be a really awkward over-share. HA! HAHA! YAYYY, Valentine's Day!

1.) Cassie, "King of Hearts"

Apart from Madonna, there's no comeback quite as highly anticipated in my book this year as Cassie. Nearly six years since the release of her chilly R&B masterpiece ("Me & U") and several months of teasing previews and snippets, the half shave-headed New London-born beauty (CT pride, y'all!) has finally returned in the most glorious of ways with "King of Hearts," the lead single from her forthcoming album.

"You are the prince of charm, seduction is your art/You'll never play my love/You're just my king of hearts," Cassie croons amidst chilly echoes, blazing hot four-to-the-floor Ibiza beats and infectious hand-claps. Serving shades of Kelis' Flesh Tone and a hint of Janet's "Rock With U," "King of Hearts" is nothing short of a sexual sonic mini-revolution of 22nd century tranced-out seduction.

Between Cassie's sexy speak-sung delivery and those pulsating beats (not to mention that video, in which the Bad Boy songstress flaunts her luscious lady lumps), "King of Hearts" is the ultimate aphrodisiac for a Valentine's Day romp for the record books. It's honestly just... I need to take a walk. Cool off, cool off!

2.) Nicki Minaj, "Starships"

Take David Guetta's "Where Them Girls At," multiply it with the rallying "Whoa-oh-oh!" chant of Britney's "Till The World Ends," a touch of P!nk's "Raise Your Glass" and divide it all by a bouncy RedOne-produced beat. Carry the five, add the ten... yep: It's Nicki Minaj's bananas o'clock club banger "Starships," the new single off of her increasingly eclectic new record, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

"Starships were meant to fly/Hands up, and touch the sky!" Minaj cries out above the blaring synthesizers before the song utterly explodes into an insane beat breakdown. Between refusing to pay rent, dancing all night and championing gay rights ("F--- who you want and f--- who you'd like!"), I'm terrified and completely mind-boggled, but my body just wants to move. Hands up and touch the sky!

3.) Katy Perry, "Part Of Me"

Last Friday night -- sorry, Sunday night, the usually candy-licious Katy Perry pulled a fast one on the audience at the the 2012 Grammys as she premiered her brand new single "Part Of Me," donning a bright blue Gaga-licious wig and rampaging around the stage amidst broken glass and fiery explosions. "This is a part of me that you're never ever going to take away from me!" she declared. Whoa, whoa, whoa -- where's the cream filling?

While you might think the newly single songstress whipped up this track with Russell Brand in mind over the past few weeks, it simply ain't so: "Part Of Me" has been floating around in demo form for about two years now, co-penned alongside supreme pop songstress Bonnie McKee ("Teenage Dream," "Hold It Against Me") for her sophomore record, Teenage Dream.

With a new sparkling polish and a little slap on the bass, "Part Of Me" is now the lead track from Perry's forthcoming reboot of her 2010 smash (and endless hit machine), Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection. Guess it's true what they say: timing is everything!

4.) Garçon Garçon, "Take Me Out"

Australia's gifted us with some truly stellar electronic acts from Cut Copy and The Presets to Sneaky Sound System and Empire Of The Sun. Now, there's an exciting up-and-coming act poised on the precipice of super-stardom: The ever-adorable Garçon Garçon -- an Aussie snyth-pop duo equipped with sparkling '80s New Wave beats, glitchy electronica and devastatingly earnest lyricism.

"Take Me Out," one of the five songs off of their newly released debut EP EP, sees the boys waxing lovey-dovey above a twinkling beat: "Take me out tonight, I'm bored and lonely/ Help me out, I'm on my own," singer Nathan begs on top of the song's bouncing beat.

The entire EP is all shades of genius and demands your full attention, but like... two sexy Aussie blokes delivering synth-pop heartbreak on a Casio keyboard. Do I really need to do any convincing right now? Didn't think so.

5.) Cady Groves, "We're The S---"

This little girl is capable of murder -- but when she's not doing that, she's raising her fist in defiance! "We're the S---," one of four tracks off of Cady Groves' brand new This Little Girl EP, finds the gorgeous 22-year-old Oklahoma-bred songstress getting rowdy and rambunctious in one big cry of defiance: "Just like a boomerang, we'll always come back/ So throw your word grenades, we love the attack!" she chants. Think of it as an "It Gets Better" pop anthem with a little more oomph.

In case you couldn't tell between "This Little Girl" and "We're The S---," Groves ain't exactly shy. (I mean, have you seen half the things she writes on Twitter?) That's exactly why we love her.

Radiohead: Bonnaroo headliners, kings of our hearts

It's almost our favorite time of year: summer festival season, which -- if you rock as hard and as incessantly as we do -- stretches from SXSW in March all the way until L.A.'s FYF in September. Right in the middle's our favorite four-day Southern blow-out, the epic Bonnaroo Festival, which just dropped its 2012 lineup. Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phish and the Beach Boys reunion (!!!) are at the top of the bill, and beyond that, it basically looks like the Grammys on a farm: Bon Iver, Skrillex, Foster the People, The Civil Wars -- yup, they're all on the list.

Beyond headliners like Radiohead, here are a few of the 2012 Bonnarroo bands we'll be camping out/freaking out for.

Ben Folds Five: The best piano-rock band since Sir Elton John is reuniting for a new album this year and what're sure to be some bonkers performances. If you know Folds more from "The Sing-Off" than Whatever and Ever Amen, you've got some jams homework ahead of you.

tUnE-yArDs: The ecstatic indie act won last year's influential Pazz and Jop critic's poll, but Merrill Garbus' face-painted, dizzying music is for the people.

Childish Gambino: Troy from "Community," secret rapper! Donald Glover can do anything. Maybe it's best he didn't get that lead role in "The Amazing Spider-Man," because then we'd be too jealous to type.

Laura Marling: One of our favorite new U.K. folkies, Ms. Marling comes from the same scene that birthed groups like Noah and the Whale and Mumford and Sons. Her songs are straight-up modern-day Joni Mitchell. Also, she's crazy pretty! Watch out, Lana.

Alabama Shakes: The band's one of the year's mostly hotly tipped new acts, and their giant-sized blues should sound pretty incredible blasting through the Tennessee heat.

Flying Lotus: The king of L.A.'s underground electronic scene has a fan in Radiohead's Thom Yorke, so look for a possible collaboration -- also, look for intricate, psychedelic beats that'll blow your mind even faster than a Phish solo.

Listen to Nicki Minaj's 'Starships.'

Another day, another new Nicki Minaj record. In the midst of tearing up her Grammy performance Nicki's also found the time to debut her radio-ready new single, "Starships." Produced by RedOne (Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez) "Starships" is slated to appear on Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, due out April 3.

Perhaps one of the most radio-friendly, pop-laden singles we've heard from Nicki in a while, "Starships" kinda sounds like it could have also been a David Guetta or Flo Rida record with a rap hook thrown on it. Translation: "Starships" is the world's next big party anthem. Boom, done.

As if its booming track wasn't enough to make this record a guaranteed hit up in da club, Nicki's infectious hook permeates as she sings: "I'm on the floor, floor/ I love to dance/ So give me more, more, till I can't stand/ Get on the floor, floor/ Like it's your last chance.../ Starships were meant to fly/ Hands up and touch the sky/ Can't stop 'cause we’re so high." In a candid interview with Ryan Seacrest Nicki admits: "Starships is one of my absolute, absolute favorite records on Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. It makes people feel happy and that’s all I want. I want to start the year off with making people feel good.” Consider that done, gurl. I'm at least three notches higher on the "good" scale than I was before I listened.

Taylor Swift, Kid Cudi and Miranda Lambert are featured on the "Hunger Games" soundtrack.

Judge me, don't judge me, I could care less -- I'm a grown-ass woman and I'm proud to say that I love me some Katniss Everdeen! In fact, when I'm presented with problems throughout the day I generally ask myself, "What would Katniss do?" -- WWKD. You should try it, it's really fun.

Though "Hunger Games" fans have to wait until March 23 for the movie's release (pure torture!), the "Hunger Games" gods (Gamemakers?) have thrown a tiny morsel of joy our way and unveiled the star-packed track list and cover art for the "Hunger Games" soundtrack! And just last night we brought you the stunning "Safe & Sound" video, Taylor Swift's and folk-pop duo The Civil Wars' contribution to the "Hunger Games" soundtrack. ALL "HUNGER GAMES" EVERYTHING.

Produced by Grammy-winning producer T Bone Burnett, the track list boasts a bevy of unreleased tunes not only from Taylor Swift, but Ella Mae Bowen, Arcade Fire, Miranda Lambert, Pistol Annies, and Kid Cudi, to name a few. What, Katniss doesn't strike you as a hip-hop fan? She is versatile! Plus, how can she be a bad-ass (but also kind, merciful and humane) killer if she's listening to sad, sappy songs all the time?

Yes, Lana has a boyfriend (sorry, every other dude on earth), and she shared a little about him when she stopped by MTV. She also let us in on her babysitting gig, how she hates World Of Warcraft, and the books she's currently rereading -- she's like a real girl! But given that Lana's a pretty private person, she didn't tell us too much about her main dude. All we really discover is that he's "really nice" and "in music, but not a musician." I'm not a psychic or anything, but I'm pretty sure that means she's talking about "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson. (Kidding. Hold the barrage of tweets, please.)
