If it's beauty sleep Ari's after, though, she won't have to rest long...
Only three nights of sleep remain until the 2013 MTV EMA airs, and Ariana Grande is doing what any responsible backstage host would do: get in as many kitty catnaps as she possibly can before the big night! Oh wait, did we say "kitty catnaps"? We meant "perfect Disney princess flawless nap realness yaaaaaaaaaaaasss."
The EMA nominee for Artist On The Rise shared her sleeping selfie on Instagram along with a very thorough caption: "Beyond exhausted after a full hour day of press and interviews in Paris. I love this city so much. Off to London tonight. Hope everybody's had a good day. p.s. I look sad but I'm not, just sleepy." Translation: Ariana's just resting her eyes before she clues us in on EVERYTHING happening backstage in Amsterdam on Sunday, so please, guys, no narcolepsy rumors. Thanks.
Actually, let's all take a page out of the "Right There" singer's playbook and snatch as many Zs as we can so we're all perky for the big EMA broadcast on Nov. 10! See you in a few days, K? Night! *turns out light* *spoons anatomically correct Harry Styles cardboard cutout*

Watch Kate Davis sing "Roar" to a room full of cats. Then FALL IN LOVE WITH KATE DAVIS.
We've been privately stanning for folk/pop singer-songwriter Kate Davis for a while now (listen to "Movie" -- it sounds just like an earthier Regina Spektor).
And what better way is there to expose y'all to Kate's lush melodies, pitch-perfect vocals, and artful songwriting than by showing you this video of her singing Katy Perry's "Roar" to a group of VERY ADOPTABLE cats at the The Humane Society Of New York?
Ummmm, BRB, quitting my job to go to the Humane Society and ADOPT ALL THE CATS.

This #tbt EMA moment is brought to you by HAIR.
You know how there are certain spectacles that seem, like, SUPER shocking at the time, yet you would barely bat an eye at 'em a few years down the road? We're talking your first R-rated movie, or like the first time you ever witnessed a cat GIF in glorious, ever-looping motion. (JK, NEVER GETS OLD.) Well, feel free to add these Throwback Thursday photos of Miley Cyrus and Ke$ha casually kicking on the MTV EMA red carpet back in 2010 to that list, because man... IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!
Check out more #tbt photos of Miley Cyrus and Ke$ha at the 2010 MTV EMA after the jump.
C'mon, Biew Biew, put yer back into it!
Yes, operator? Get us on the line with Europe immediately! OMG EUROPE, GIRL, WHAT'S UP. (Love what you're doing with the Scandinavian peninsula lately -- f*** whatcha heard from South America.) Anyway, are you all prepped and ready for the 2013 MTV EMA in Amsterdam this Sunday? Hope so, because by the looks of this photo that Miley Cyrus tweeted earlier, the "Wrecking Ball" singer's swinging your way in T-minus... NOW!

For when it feels like you're the only uncoupled human being in existence...
ICYMI, we've been fans of Tori Kelly for a while now. Ever since we first heard the vocal chord-defying riffs and runs on her YouTube cover of Michael Jackson's "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)," we were hooked. Now, thankfully, she's back with "Dear No One," a video that's all her own.
Just in time, too! Sometime between our "Buzz On" post about Tori and now, the YouTube legal powers that be removed the audio from her M.J. cover. But IDK, maybe it's, like, symbolic? You know, with the release of her Foreword EP at the end of last October, Tori's no longer the amazingly talented girl on YouTube singing other people's hits -- she's the amazingly talented girl singing hits all her own. Yeah? Foreword? More like FORWARD. Get it? Yup, WE'RE PRETTY DEEP.

Busta Rhymes, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Q-Tip are beef-free in their new track, "Thank You."
If you thought Busta Rhymes' recent ode to the twerk, aptly titled "#TwerkIt," was his most NGAF record to date, then you're gonna want to pay close attention to Bussa Buss' latest single, "Thank You," featuring Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Q-Tip.
How do we know this? Well, for starters, "Thank You" asserts once and for all that there is ZERO beef between G.O.O.D. Music and Young Money.
Plus, thanks to important lines like "F*** it, let's get to drinking, poison our livers" and "Legendary swag flu and see the influence, see how we do it," it seems pretty clear that Busta and his crew give absolutely no Fs about their health (but admittedly a few Fs about effortless swag).

Y U SO GOOD?!?!
Gahhhhhhh, Mahomies, how are you all even functioning right now?! Ever since Austin Mahone premiered his new single, "Banga Banga," on the radio, we've like literally been... hmmm, how do we put this delicately and as PG-rated as possible? We've basically been thrusting into the air, with vigor, that corporeal region from which all them funny feelings spring. Got it? (If your parents ask, we didn't say "air-humping 24/7.")
The Junior Year track is, like, bubblegum pop GOLD from start to finish. No buildup, no slowdown -- from the first "You're a banga, banga, banga, banga" chorus to the last, the song is nothing but super fun, beat-thumping goodness. We just wish Austin would drop the club-ready
banger banger BANGA BANGA BANGA BANGA on iTunes already! Sunday seems so far away! #ImTheDramaticOne
Oh well. If you need us from now until then we'll basically only be doing the following:.

That takes some serious balance, guys.
Gimme a K! Gimme an A! Gimme a T! Gimme a... OK, you get the idea.
But maybe my little cheer will help you remember that time Katy Perry opened her hosting gig at the 2008 EMA in Liverpool by performing "I Kissed A Girl"? And that she arrived on stage surrounded by cheerleaders and straddling a
phallic giant Cherry ChapStick? PSHHHH, yeah, you remember that! Because that was the EMAs' 15th anniversary show! #ExtraSpesh
"I've never done anything like this before, so if I pass out mid-sentence, or I throw up all over my cheerleaders, I'm sorry," said Katy at the time. "I'm only used to hosting Scrabble games at my house." Awww, so humble! So good at balancing normal, just-like-us activities with literally balancing on a huge Cherry ChapStick!
Which really begs the question: What's Katy gonna do at her "Unconditionally" performance THIS year??

Ummm, since when was JB such a skilled ARTISTE?!
By now, you can probably guess what I like to do to relax: I hit up a mat Pilates class, drink some kale juice, whip up some quinoa, and watch Food Network -- basically I like to pretend that I'm 88. Wanna know what Justin Bieber does to let off steam? Well, according to a recent batch of Instagram photos he posted, bro straight transforms into a legit graffiti ARTISTE! Like, do we have a budding Banksy on our hands?!
