Katy Perry hangs with rumored new boyfriend Robert Ackroyd.

For Katy Perry, both weekends of Coachella consisted primarily of wearing adorable floral ensembles, dancing with her BFF, Rihanna, and holding hands/flashing her megawatt smile while in the embrace of rumored new boyfriendFlorence + The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd. Essentially, Katy's living out a real-life "Teenage Dream" (while we seethe with jealousy).

Though nothing has been confirmed, by the look of it, "The Katy And Robert Project" is in full swing. The "Part Of Me" singer was swept up in the arms of her reported new flame, after they (probably) gallivanted around Coachella making googly eyes at each other, inevitably making all the other couples feel unattractive inadequate. Also, because Coachella is, you know, held in the desert it was likely 95 degrees when this photo was snapped, yet neither Perry nor her man are sweating one bit. In fact, they both look completely matte! Finally, who can I pay to figure out where Katy got that outfit? I need to wear it tonight when I trot around town with my musician boyfriend. (Sadly, we all know that last part is just not true.)

For example, round one sees 98 Degrees up against The Beatles (!!!), The Monkees versus 2ge+her (who's more legit?) and Boyz II Men duke it out with Jodeci, which depending on what side of the fence you're on, could get you physically assaulted in some parts of this country. Vote wisely, y'all.

Check out a list of all 32 competing bands after the jump, and start voting in MTV's Battle Of The Boy Bands today! Voting for round one closes Thursday, April 26, at noon ET. The final winner of MTV's Battle of the Boy Bands will be announced May 7. May the best boy band win!

Welcome to Buzzworthy's "The Week In Pop," where we round up new album releases, talk show musical guests and TV performances by your favorite pop stars and more (so you don't have to).

Is there a more apt name for the band The Wanted? Audiences swoon in their wake. To borrow from the boy band's own repertoire, the "universe will never be the same" for their dedicated fans. The Brit group drops its first U.S. EP on Tuesday. They make appearances on "VH1's Big Morning Buzz," "The View" and "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" this week. Jack White is single again (well, hello there, Jack), and the emotional aftermath seems the jet fuel for the characters in his lyrics on the riveting Blunderbuss, which also comes out Tuesday. Catch him on "Colbert Report" on Thursday. Electric Guest's much-anticipated Danger Mouse-produced debut album Mondo drops Tuesday, but be sure to peep their new "This Head I Hold" video as a prep course. Thursday night, Adam Lambert hits the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" stage. He's been previewing songs from his forthcoming Trespassing during recent outings, so he might treat the audience to a new tune. And don't forget about "America's Best Dance Crew," week 3. The theme this week? Madonna!

NEW ALBUM RELEASES

Tuesday, April 24

+ Jack White, Blunderbuss: Whether it's the visceral tearing away of body parts during opener "Missing Pieces," the lustful, jealous lover in "Sixteen Saltines," the bruises left on "Freedom at 21," or the piano-fueled cautionary tale of "Weep Themselves to Sleep," emotions are a palpable, blood-stained affair filtered through a bluesy, classic rock, garage and country-tipped lens on Jack White's debut solo effort. The tables are turned, it's the man scorned here and women are the culprit. And it ain't pretty; it's dirtied, gritty and awesome.

+ The WantedThe Wanted, The EP: MTV POSTED artist for the month The Wanted release their debut U.S. EP. The seven-track set includes the hottttt single "Glad You Came," which they performed live at MTV's Spring Break 2012. The song has already hit the Top 5 on Billboard's Hot 100. Look out for three additional bonus tracks on the Special Edition.

+ Electric Guest, Mondo: Our PUSH artist of the week release their debut album with a little help on the production side from DJ/producer wunderkind Danger Mouse. Standout tracks include the insanely catchy "This Head I Hold" and the super psychedelic "Troubleman."

Check out more new album releases and upcoming TV appearances and performances after the jump.

Watch Slaughterhouse's new video 'Hammer Dance.'

The boys (Royce da 5'9, Joell Ortiz, Crooked I and Joe Buddens) of Slaughterhouse hopped a Megabus down to Austin for this year's SXSW festivities (who didn't?) to play in Eminem's Shady 2.0 showcase concert. They brought some guys with cameras along (who didn't?) and figured, "Hey... might as well shoot a video for 'Hammer Dance' while we're here!"

"Hammer Dance" is the first single from Slaughterhouse's upcoming album and was produced by the MPC miracle, AraabMuzik. (Or is it A$APmuzik now?) Either way, Araab gets real spooky on this one, sampling Korn's "Falling Away From Me" and adding his ridiculously dense and intricate drums. The 'House brought him out at the SXSW show, and it's insane he's able to do that in real time on a drum machine.

Justin Bieber and a Selena Gomez look-alike on the set of his 'Boyfriend' video

Well, ladies and gents, it appears the reason Justin Bieber hasn't released the full version of his "Boyfriend" video because it's not done yet! Biebs was seen in L.A. filming some last-minute scenes for his "Boyfriend" video with a cute young lady who happens to  look a lot like his girlfriend, Selena Gomez. I don't know if I'm totally thinking out of the box here, but Bieber, why don't you just... hire your girlfriend? You know she's an actress, right?

When one of the people in your band goes by the name "Cornbread" and your music has been compared to The Troggs, The Seeds and The Zombies, of course Danger Mouse is going to want to produce your debut album. After eclectic musical beginnings (to say the least -- one of these dudes learned drums from some guy at his local Lowes), Electric Guest are prepping for the release of their debut album, Mondo, out April 24. Musicians Asa Taccone and Matthew Compton (aka "Cornbread") make up the group, and we thought it was about time you get to know these guys so you can say you knew them when.

Up first, we've got the premiere of Electric Guest's video, "This Head I Hold," which might be the best video of all time. We see Asa (who you might recognize as The Lonely Island's Jorma Taccone's little bro) prepping for a "Napoleon Dynamite"-like talent competition. As his audition nears, dude is seriously buggin' on nerves. Once the judges call his name, homeboy bolts. He just starts running and running and running until he ends up in the desert. Then there's like, a two-minute montage of what it would be like if he never goes through with his audition and ends up as some nomad living with a random desert woman and child. Then boom, back to the audition where Asa faces his fears and nails it. Moral of the story: Don't become a weird old desert man -- follow your dreams.

Check out more videos with Electric Guest after the jump, where the band opens up about how they met, their vocal sensibilities and their musical future. Electric Guest's debut album, Mondo, drops April 24.

One Direction's Louis Tomlinson bungee jumps off Auckland Tower in New Zealand!

Are we the only ones who think this pic of One Direction's Louis Tomlinson bungee jumping is like, THE scariest thing in the world? Sure, heights and free falling are frightening enough, but imagining the possibility of Louis getting hurt is SCARING US TO DEATH. We can only begin to imagine the gazillion dollar insurance policy bro had to sign off on before he took that plunge. (Call us wimps, but we really like our boy bands in one piece, thanks.)

The incredibly brave "What Makes You Beautiful" singer was snapped taking the thrilling leap off the Auckland Tower in New Zealand while fans held their breathe in utter fear cheered support from below. And while we may have a few choice words about Louis' stunt (can you tell we're not big fans of our boy bands taking on these kinds of risks?) we won't be calling any of the members of One Direction dull. Between Harry Styles latest koala snuggle and Louis' recent adventure, these bros are basically checking off their lives' bucket lists (and pretty much ours)... all under the ripe age of 20.

Selena Gomez has released a second video for her smash 'Hit the Lights.'

Selena Gomez loves her song "Hit the Lights" so much that she decided to make a second video for it. We're not mad at that one bit, but we do have some questions. In the first version, Selena parties with her friends in random locations and plays with giant yellow balloons. And, ta-da! The second version is... basically the same thing?
