It's Tuesday! Time for another round of "5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week"!

This week's roundup features killer cuts from two of my favorite bands with new albums out this month, a new groove by Rihanna's favorite hitmaker, some booty droppin' motivation from M.I.A.'s protégé and a surprise pop offering by Hollywood's most flawless zombie slayer.

1.) Gossip, "Get A Job"

Gossip wants you to WORK. No, seriously -- shut off the TV and get out of your sweatpants, 'cause it just ain't cute anymore. "Get A Job," one of the freshest, funkiest cuts off of Gossip's incredible new album, A Joyful Noise, is a healthy reminder to all that there's nothing awesome about raging all day and night, as conveyed in one of the best lyrics of 2012: "I'd love to stay and party, but I've got to go to work."

With its biting lyrics ("It was adorable when you were in your 20s/ Not so cute now that you're pushing 30") and raucous rock energy mixed with disco rhythms, "Get A Job" is the perfect inspiration to get up and move (and maybe send out some résumés). It's a fact: There is no better motivational speaker than Beth Ditto, the fiercest guidance counselor of all time. Work!

Being on MTV is one of those childhood dreams that every kid has. That and going to Australia to hold a koala to prove Mary H. from second grade wrong! (Long story.) Thanks to Instagram and Pepsi, now's your chance to make that dream of being on MTV come true. (And hopefully you can get to Australia eventually, too.)

Here's what you gotta do: Upload a photo taken on Instagram to your Twitter account with the hashtag #MTVNow. Starting in June, look for your photos to pop up on MTV. Keep sharing and uploading for the chance to win an invite to one (if not more) of MTV's big upcoming events. For example, we would upload this photo we took at Bamboozle this past weekend to our Twitter, @MTVBuzzworthy, with something like, "You're dead to me if you don't like Jimmy Eat World. #MTVNow." Then we'd show up on MTV. It's that easy, people.

Check out mtvlivefornow.com for more details, and get to tweeting!

Jared Leto is like a fine wine and gets better (looking) with age!

Either the fountain of youth is getting bottled up and sold in bulk at some magical Costco where only famous rock stars are allowed memberships, or Jared Leto is just another one of those insanely lucky human beings who never ages (see: Gwen Stefani). If we look ANYTHING like Jared when we're 40, we will PRAISE the skin gods!

The lead singer of Thirty Seconds To Mars sported this youthful-looking smize during a recent photo shoot with famed photographer Terry Richardson and shared it (along with other poses) on his blog, Note From The Outernet. But seriously, guys, we can't stop staring! Sure, we're kind of gawking at the fake fur Jared's sporting (it wouldn't be a Jared pic if he wasn't in some sort of unique attire), but we're mostly trying to find one effing wrinkle on bro's face. BTW: There isn't A SINGLE ONE.

If the band needs a suggestion on what their forthcoming new album's first music video should look like, we suggest just a slo-mo montage of Jared going Benjamin Button on our asses -- we'd watch that ish for days.

Selena Gomez is hysterical in her Fifty Shades Of Grey spoof for Funny Or Die.

We won't make you admit it, but we know you've already read everyone's favorite soft-core porn erotic novel Fifty Shades Of Grey. If you're still pretending you don't know what it is, then we'll play along and remind you that Fifty Shades is a novel by author E. L. James that documents the steamy relationship between Ana Steele (a virgin) and Christian Grey (a sexually adventurous millionaire). Sure, the book has some poignant moments, but everything about it screams, "Please, Funny Or Die! Make a parody out of me!" And that's just what they did.

The spoof is called "Fifty Shades Of Blue," and it features Selena Gomez playing Ana and Nick Kroll playing Christian. But instead of being hot and sexy, Nick is a dirty house painter. Selena is into him anyway and as she watches him work, she goes wild and recites her inner monologue, much in the same tone as the original novel: "He was still such a mystery to me... Why did he give me this gift of paint swatches?" Unfortunately, Nick isn't into Selena so she's left home alone to fantasize about him, much like the entire female population fantasizes about Christian Grey. As you were, ladies.

The amount of times we've listened to Cheryl Cole's "Call My Name" is almost as embarrassing as the number of times we've image-searched Harry Styles on Google. So you can imagine our excitement when we got word that "Telescope," a B-side from Cheryl's forthcoming A Million Lights album, has surfaced.

Katy Perry killed her performance of "Wide Awake" at the Billboard Music Awards this weekend, and today we're treated to a brand-new lyric video for the tune as well. But, it's Katy Perry, guys -- did you really expect her to release a simple lyric video with fancy words floating around the screen? Nope. In fact, Katy's lyric video is more like a virtual biography documenting the last 21 months of her Teenage Dream journey while also marking the end of an era.

Summer doesn't OFFICIALLY begin until June 20 (and we know that because we consulted the Farmer's Almanac for the very first time and probably last in our entire lives), but that doesn't mean you haven't started dressing, slacking off and/or partying like summer's fully here. Accordingly, you need the ultimate summer jam -- the one singular seasonal jam that will forever seal the summer of 2012 in your soul (and mix CD).

We teamed up with our friends at Seventeen magazine and picked five of the songs we think will rule the summer. But like with all things superlative and all favorite songs, there can only be one that trumps them all. Check out our five top summer song picks below, and vote for your favorite in our poll. We'll announce the winner on Wednesday, May 30.

MTV Buzzworthy and Seventeen Official Song Of The Summer Nominees:

Walk the Moon, "Anna Sun"

The Wanted, "Chasing The Sun"

Wiz Khalifa, "Work Hard, Play Hard"

Rihanna, "Where Have You Been"

Rita Ora, " How We Do (Party)"

Vote for the Official Song Of The Summer, check out Walk The Moon's self-titled debut album cover art and track list and an exclusive Rita Ora interview, and get more at Seventeen.

Chris Brown and Justin Bieber goof the hell out at their Billboard Music Awards celebration dinner.

It's not likely that you'd see a cheesy thumbs-up from the person who basically invited the word "swaggy," but Justin Bieber breaks boundaries, y'all. Snapped recently with pal Chris Brown while they sat down for dinner, Justin showed off his most dad-like hand gesture while Chris turned his face into some kind of Jim Carrey ish circa the "In Living Color" days. (Look it up, young people.) Justin tweeted, "i will have the pasta. very nice," while Chris shared on Instagram, "Celebration dinner! We live our fans! But we hungry too!" (He probably meant, "We love our fans." But maybe not. Free country.)

We're guessing that celebration dinner probably had something to do with the Billboard Music Awards -- Justin took home the Top Social Artist award while Chris nabbed R&B Artist Of The Year. Yep, just a couple of award-winning buddies out for dinner, giving you the thumbs-up. Nothing to see here, move along.

Hawthorne-Heights

Hawthorne Heights are back to rock your summer with 'New Winter.'

Sounds like Hawthorne Heights could use some warm weather. "New Winter" finds singer/guitarist J.T. Woodruff "crashing/and flaming out" before the searing song delivers its mission statement: "This new winter/Won't keep me down." That's not to say the track's, um, beach-appropriate. Hawthorne Heights are as heavy as they've ever been on the new track: Woodruff's piercing vocals rise to a shout, while drummer Eron Bucciarelli pounds his poor kit like a punching bag. But the band steps back from the angsty edge to deliver the song's tuneful chorus, which lands at the emo sweet spot between "catchy" and "ear-melting." The band even shows its cuddly side (which exists!) at the track's end, so stick around until after the credits.
