Is @PattinsonRT REALLY TRULY Robert Pattinson on Twitter? An @PattinsonRT popped up on Twitter tonight, and it'd be cool, right, if THIS one were ACTUALLY him! We could see what brand of bottled water Robert Pattinson likes and just how deep the V in his V necks extend...

But we've been fooled by Robert Pattinson Twitter imposters before. (At least @fakerpatz is forthcoming about it.) And I'm highly suspect that @therobpattinson was actually the REAL Robert Pattinson's former Twitter because WHICH celebrities who aren't in bands (or porn) promote their own MySpace profiles anymore? (For the same reason, I really doubt that @KristenjStewart is/was Kristin Stewart. And @kristensss obviously isn't Kristen Stewart.) Plus, both Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson seem like fairly discreet celebs, and Twitter is, you know... the opposite of discreet. And furthermore, just because someone's Twitter says "THIS IS THE OFFICIAL TWITTER AND THE ONLY OFFICIAL TWITTER" doesn't actually make anything official. It's not a Twitter law or anything. (Like, I could say I'm OFFICIALLY tall, but in truth, I'm barely 5 feet. Nick Jonas is taller than me. See, so sometimes people fabricate things! See how that works?)

But what could give @PattinsonRT slightly more cred is his affiliation with @kristenstewart9 and @nhoustonreed, if those are REALLY Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed's actual Twitters. Seriously, all it takes is a pirated Internet connection and a borrowed celebrity photo from an interview, and suddenly you're a matinee idol and the Fail Whale's rearing its great and mighty head, all because of you. (Over 200,000 people still follow Tina Fey, and Tina Fey herself has said it's a fake... Twitter makes my head hurt.)

After all, maybe it's @PattinsonRT is really just some 19-year-old sitting in a college dorm somewhere, and if so, the joke's on me. (Good one!) And if it IS really @PattinsonRT... um, HIYOUREREALLYHOT!

Okay. Between the Twilight Conversation Hearts and Robert Pattinson maybe being on Twitter (again), it's all starting to feel a little too bitchpleeze.com for my blood, so I'm going to bed, confident in the knowledge that @MTVBuzzworthy is the REAL, OFFICIAL Tamar Anitai/ MTVBuzzworthy Twitter, for the two of you out there who were curious... The two of you being Mom and Dad.
