+ Damn, Ke$ha, do the words "give" "peace" and "a chance" ring any bells? First she mixes it up with Britney Spears. Now Ke$ha is trying to back off some not particularly harsh comments she made about Justin Bieber in Maxim. The "Tik Tok" singer could, at worst, be accused of being a little condescending to Bieber in her interview, joking, "He’s a tiny little baby! I would’ve loved to push him around onstage in a carriage.” Not the worst thing ever, right? Well, she must have anticipated some serious Bieber blowback, because Ke$ha hit Twitter yesterday to apologize: "dear justin b i am so sorry if my bad joke has hurt your feelings.u r obviously so talented andi would never mean to offend u.i think u r rad” (Idolator)

+ Green Day's American Idiot album spawned hits, certified the Bay Area punks as global rock superstars and has been adapted for the Broadway stage. Now it appears that the 2004 concept album may still have more life in it, as Tom Hanks is in talks to pick up the film rights for the musical version. Hanks is no stranger to translating stage musicals to the silver screen. He produced the blockbuster film version of Mamma Mia in 2008. (MTV News)

+ In other movie news, Rihanna could be gearing up for a leap to the big screen. Rumor has it that the "Rude Boy" singer might be getting her wings, joining the likes of Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu in playing one of the angels in a sequel to the 2003 film Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. (LimeLife)

+ Radiohead is much too busy trying to save the world and reinvent the music industry to trouble themselves with such trivialities as horse racing. But that hasn't stopped one man from naming a three-year-old colt after the band and entering it into the Kentucky Derby. Radiohead, the horse, is getting 20-1 odds to win the "Run for the Roses." (Spinner)

+ India.Arie will not be hitting "replay" on Lady Gaga's "Telephone" video any time soon. The neo-soul singer recently took to her Twitter account to give some constructive criticism to Gaga and society at large. While she respects Gaga's creativity, India deems the video "socially irresponsible," predicting, "It's not long before somebody does a straight NAKED video." (Crunk + Disorderly)

+ Britney and Jason still an item? Still, we stand by these guys Britney should date. Just in case. (Just Jared)

(Twitpic via Semi Precious Weapons' Twitter)

This Twitpic of Semi Precious Weapons' Justin Tranter and Gaga is pretty much the platonic ideal of f**king gorgeous, regardless of your ability to pay your rent. Seriously -- watch out, Weezy and Birdman. Lady Gaga's got gold fronts. If only she'd start wearing them with her Coke can hair rollers, we'd have ourselves a look.

Still don't know Semi Precious Weapons? Uh, Buzzworthy's only been blathering about them for A YEAR! It's time to get to know Justin, Stevy, Cole and Dan a little more intimately. Find out how Semi Precious weapons almost destroyed Lady Gaga's set and almost got murdered in Vegas.

Spring break is a time for America's students to let their hair down, bear down on a few brain cells with some responsibly consumed beverages and generally rock out. But no matter where you celebrated your spring break, you really weren't doing it right, unless you were doing it with MTV.

This year, our traveling circus went down to Acapulco to entertain throngs of young adults with the sounds of young America. With master of ceremonies (if not subtlety) Funkmaster Flex presiding, a bunch of great acts packed their bags and brought their music south of the border to the delight of spring breakers in attendance.

Below, we have the first batch of great live videos culled from MTV's "Spring Break 2010." Check out Ludacris and Nicki Minaj performing their single "My Chick Bad," Drake taking his new song "Over" out for a test-drive and Trey Songz doing a live demonstration of his "I Invented Sex."

Plus, check out the MTV Spring Break Style Guide and enter H&M's Style Eye Contest for a chance to win a spread in "Lucky" magazine, an MTV gift bag AND $500 at H&M!

I've never personally felt compelled to check out Chat Roulette. As an active rider of New York City's public transportation system, I am already treated to a daily dose of any number of strangers doing any number of strange things. I don't need to replicate the experience on my computer. But different strokes for different piano-playing folks, I always say. That's why I've got no problem with this great video of master songwriter/pianist Ben Folds serenading random people on Chat Roulette, while a live audience of 2000 people look on with glee.

This video is actually a tribute to the wildly popular viral video by the enigmatic, mysterious piano man named Merton. Many thought Ben Folds actually might be Merton, who seems to have originated the practice of free-styling lyrics based on what he sees on Chat Roulette, while accompanying himself on piano.

Folds' performance (which has been thankfully edited and is free of Chat Roulette's ever-present male appendages), features his signature humor and detailed observation ("Hello, Mr. Shirtless Man. How are you doing? Is it hot in there?"). It's all the more impressive when you consider he did it in front of that many fans.

Check out the video below. There's no nudity, but there is some NSFW language. And watch "Army" —  seminal Ben Folds! — after that.

File Under: Songs That Will Not Appear In Usher's Ex-Wife's Most Played Songs Playlist. Man, if I were Tameka Foster — known, until recently, as Mrs. Urrsher — I would be steaming right now. It's one thing to have a song like "Guilty" come out, a tune that pulls back the curtain on what sounds like the final days of Usher and Foster's marriage. You can hear talk of infidelity and strained communication lines. But it's a whole other thing for your ex to make an absolutely scandalous song with the hottest chick in the game. I mean, "Little Freak" — we've been bumping it for months now, and the "Little Freak" video's about to drop — is nothing short of freak nasty. "Little Freak," the latest leak from Usher's upcoming album, Raymond v. Raymond, is so full of sexy sexuality that it's enough to make Tiger Woods blush. We knew the LP would be rife with talk of breakups and heartbreak and divorce. We had no idea it would be so up front with Usher's freaky bedroom talk.

Usher pairs off with current queen MC Nicki Minaj, and the two glide over Polow Da Don's minimal bass beat. And what happens on the track should only take place between two consenting adults. Honestly it's hard to find lyrics to reproduce without angering the gods of civility and good taste.

And, um, it's awesome. This is slick, sexy hip-hop-infused R&B done to its finest.

+ Listen to Usher and Nicki Minaj's "Little Freak," here. (Really, really NSFW language)

Sometimes you learn the most about artists when they aren't talking strictly about their music; sometimes it's best to just give 'em a topic and let them ramble for a bit. It's in the act of storytelling that their actual personalities come through.

With that in mind, we asked Semi Precious Weapons to tell us some tales, specifically about two of their most beloved towns: New York and Las Vegas.

First up, we get some fear and loathing in Las Vegas, as frontman Justin Tranter recounts the time the band played a gig at a "prejudiced murder bar" in Sin City where the local patrons, all of whom were, in the words of Justin Tratner, "born in that bar," were none too pleased about Justin's fierce footwear. You'd think that a bunch of guys as theatrical and fabulous as Semi Precious Weapons would have no problem getting along in the cabaret capital, but alas, it simply wasn't the case.

In the second Semi Precious interview, we hear all about the band's adventures in their hometown of New York City. This one concerns the band's gig opening for Lady Gaga at Radio City Music Hall. The band figured, hey, this NYC, we're gonna bring it. Bringing it included spitting water at the crowd, pouring champagne on the crowd, running up and down the aisles of the storied venue ... the usual. Everyone thought these hijinks were HIGH-larious, save the New York City fire marshal.

You'll have to check out the exclusive MTV.com videos to see how these things worked themselves out. Semi Precious Weapons' self-titled EP is available now. And check out some epic photos of Semi Precious Weapons pics here.

With the world awaiting tomorrow's release of Justin Bieber's "My World 2.0", the follow-up to "My World," and Bieber Fever at crisis levels, it's obviously time to take a behind-the-scenes look at what goes on in Justin Bieber's green room. + Justin Bieber's My World 2.0 drops tomorrow. It will no doubt be a smash, fueled by Bieber's incredible charm and personality. But according to Ludacris, Bieber's a bit of a wallflower when you first meet him. The Atlanta rapper worked with Justin on their single "Baby," and according to Luda, "When I first met Justin, man, I felt like he's definitely a little shy at first. I understand. I'm kind of the same way till I get comfortable with my surroundings, and then it's just all out, just wild." (MTV News)

+ Avril Lavigne seems to be patching things up with her husband Deryck Whibley. Lavigne and the Sum 41 guitarist/singer sealed the deal the way any respectable, loving couple would: they got tipsy and tattooed. This being 2010, these events were obviously filmed and uploaded to the Internet. Ah, young love. (TMZ)

+ One couple who will likely not be getting back together is Lady Gaga and her ex-boyfriend Rob Fusari. In case you missed it, Gaga's astronomical rise to fame has apparently ruffled Fusari's feathers a bit; he's suing her for $30 million, claiming that he came up with the name "Lady Gaga," and that he's contractually due revenue from merchandise and album sales. (Idolator)

+ Looks like Ke$ha might, for whatever reason, be having second thoughts about starting that beef with Britney Spears. The "Tik Tok" singer threw some shade at Spears for her alleged propensity to lip sync onstage. Now, with the 8 year old Britney "diss" track "Styrofoam" leaking, Ke$ha is having a change of heart, claiming she has "nothing but respect" for Spears. (Idolator)

+ Snoop Dogg's appearance at South By South West was apparently a smoking success. The legendary Long Beach MC ran through his huge catalog of hits, playing everything from "Gin And Juice" to his recent smash, "I Wanna Rock." The usually subdued D-O-Double-G then got the crowd barking a little louder with a cover of House Of Pain's "Jump Around." (Spinner)

+ Here's some good news to tide the Gleeks over while they wait patiently for their high school musical to return on April 13th: talks are currently being held to turn Glee into a Broadway musical. The producers of Legally Blonde and Hairspray want to bring the hit show to the Great White Way. (Limelife)

+ Do we ever get sick of seeing Kevin Jonas and wifey Danielle hold hands and shop? Uh, NO. (I'm Not Obsessed)

+ Just like we never get sick of seeing Katy Perry and Russell Brand wear matching flipflops. (Just Jared)

Here's what it looks like when you're Honor Society, Just Kait and Ashlyne Huff, and you're getting ready to rock the jam-packed "Here Comes Trouble" spring tour. And you're doing that at Johnny Wright's The Compound in Orlando, where NSync, Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears produced their tours. You know. Huge names. No bigs/no duh.

If you haven't already, get your tickets to the "Here Comes Trouble" tour and watch Just Kait's video "Hot Stuff" from the MTV movie Turn The Beat Around, and watch Honor Society's "Over You."

Jesse Freidin, I do not know you. But I think I am going to nominate you for the MacArthur Genius Grant, as long as you promise to keep up this important work.

Who is Jesse Freidin? Well, he's a photographer, and oh, you know, JUST A VISIONARY. Yeah, everybody has a Tumblr or photo blog these days, and whether it's puppies dressed as hipsters or Photoshop jobs of Tom Selleck eating sandwiches, none of them quite match the joy found in looking at pictures of dogs dressed as Lady Gaga.

We spotted this one over at Celebuzz. Honestly, there's not a ton of play-by-play that needs to be offered here. There are some dogs, they rock various looks in the Lady Gaga repertoire. It is really adorable.
