When Drake performed "Fancy," his Thank Me Later jam for the ladies, at the 2010 MTV VMAs, he surprised viewers by opening the song with a suited-up Mary J. Blige, vamping over some sweet piano lines played by producer Swizz Beatz. Upon viewing this awesome meeting of the R&B minds, most viewers probably thought to themselves, "This needs to be a remix" (though maybe one or two stray hungry folks found themselves considering a snack).

In a great example of the universe listening to your demands, we happily present to you Drake's "Fancy" remix, featuring Mary J. Blige and Swizz Beatz re-creating their lovely take on the song from the 2010 MTV VMAs. A jazzy, piano-driven vamp at the beginning features some incredible vocal work from Mary, and then things segue into Drake's come-shop-with-me verses. Check out Drake's "Fancy (Remix)" as well as a live video of Drake, Mary and Swizz's 2010 MTV VMAs performance, both below.

Everyone who watched the 2010 MTV VMAs had an opinion on the surprises (Rihanna!), the performances (too many to mention in parentheses!), the host (Chelsea Handler!) and the meat dress (IT WAS MADE OF REAL MEAT, people!). And we called upon two of our favorite Internet stars to share their opinions about the 2010 VMAs.

Alonzo Lerone, known for his pop culture-parodying YouTube videos, and Dannielle Owens-Reid, filmmaker, blogger, and founder of Lesbians Who Look Like Justin Bieber, watched the VMAs and weighed in on their favorite moments and the funniest moments.

Watch Alonzo Lerone and Danielle Owens-Reid's favorite VMA moments--the surprises, the forgiveness, painful shoes, tiny dancers and all. Find out the moments you may have missed, like Justin Bieber's drumstick fail. See who Danielle wanted to spoon with and how she pulled off a bizarre anatomical feat that involved splitting her eyes in half. And don't miss Danielle and Alonzo's spirited debate over whether or not Kanye West is "supposed to be a douchebag."

If you're on the side of Lady Gaga's left-wing politics (or, possibly a log cabin Republican), then she's an unstoppable liberal using her power to advance a political agenda you probably believe in. If you're not on Lady Gaga's side politically, well, sorry.

Lady Gaga's 2010 MTV VMA red carpet arrival was a stunning moment--and not just a fashion moment--though Gaga's Alexander McQueen Victorian ball gown was by far the biggest and best arrival of VMA night. Lady Gaga's VMA arrival was a political statement, arriving with members of the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network, an organization of gay men and women who served in the Air Force or Army who left on their own or were discharged.

And Gaga's anti-"don't ask, don't tell" statement was timed perfectly, falling days after "don't ask, don't tell" was declared unconstitutional by a California federal court, and two days before the 2010 primaries. Two days after the primaries, on Thursday, Sept. 16, Gaga released a YouTube video encouraging her fans (and anyone against this human rights violation) to contact their state senate to repeal "don't ask, don't tell" next week. Gaga's video was also a message to Senator John McCain and other state senators who've opposed gays in the military.

Standing at the start of the VMA red carpet where all of the night's stars arrived, I managed to capture the Flipcam video below of Lady Gaga's arrival. While I assumed her arrival with soldiers was clearly politically symbolic (a message to end the war?), I was too far away from her MTV News interview to hear her powerful words and only found out later that her soldiers were men and women willing to put their life on the line and die for our own safety.

It was an honor to witness firsthand not only a major VMA moment, or the rush of paparazzi and Gaga energy electrifying a crowd the second she hits the public eye--Gaga's over-the-top gown was exciting, too--but also one of the biggest stars on the planet making such a powerful, poignant political statement right in front of me during one of the biggest pop culture events in the country.

30 Seconds To Mars had a pretty great night at the 2010 MTV VMAs. From their grand entrance to picking up their award for Best Rock Video to mingling with their musical brethren, Jared Leto, Shannon Leto and Tomo turned heads like the cool kids in school, representing the Echelon. So let's take a look back at a night 30STM and their fans in the Echelon will never forget.

+ 30 Seconds To Mars Hit The White Carpet: 30 Seconds To Mars always cut a pretty distinctive figure, with their slick, sci-fi-leaning rocker threads. But there's making an entrance and then there's making an entrance. And 30 Seconds To Mars made an entrance. Their white carpet appearance paid homage to both their "Kings and Queens" video and the Echelon itself, as the group arrived on bikes, with a bunch of their glittery, caped friends in tow. Watch video of their arrival below...

+ 30 Seconds To Mars Win A Moonman For Best Rock Video: The cast of "Jackass" awarded 30 Seconds To Mars the VMA for Best Rock Video. It was obviously an emotional moment for Leto and the band, but they immediately gave credit where it was due--to their families and their incredibly dedicated and passionate fans, The Echelon. Watch 30 Seconds To Mars accept their VMA.

+ 30 Seconds To Mars Look To The Future: While, generally, the MTV VMAs are about saluting the year gone by, it's also a great opportunity to share what's coming up. So 30 Seconds To Mars told MTV News' James Montgomery what to expect from the band, including a scoop on their upcoming new video for "Hurricane" off their This Is War album. According to Jared, the clip will be, "very, very, very, very, very sexual." That's five verys!

Watch Jared's take on 30 Seconds To Mars' "Hurricane," and watch 30 Seconds To Mars' VMA-winning video, "Kings and Queens," below.

Lady Gaga's VMA meat dress is probably well on its way to becoming a jerky dress (or a serious health hazard). Or a shrine for someone's Silence Of The Lambs fantasy. (Just kidding!)

Anyway, that doesn't mean there aren't other celebrities lining up to try it on Gaga's meat dress for size and put a little meat on their bones! (Har.)

We've already seen Snooki in Gaga's meat dress. Check out Britney Spears, Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Bill Kaulitz and Cher in Gaga's meat dress, and vote for the celebrity you think wore the meat dress best!

Not bad. Britney looks cheery and sweet, but we like our Britney best with a snake.

Nicki Minaj can pull off pretty much anything. Even the dress equivalent of the "Bodies" exhibit.

Kanye West in Gaga's meat dress? Again, not a bad look, but it'd work best if the meat dress were stamped in the Chanel logo.

Bill Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel is never afraid of taking fashion risks. But, he's also a vegetarian and animal lover, so he might be politically and ethically adverse. If Bill Kaulitz wore Lady Gaga's meat dress, it'd have to be that really convincing fake meat that looks like the real thing. It it somehow incorporated leather, that'd be even better.

Back in the day, Cher was the queen of wearing crazy ish... What am I talking about? She's still the queen of wearing crazy ish. No pants, embellished everything, and head dresses that looked like she robbed an Egyptian tomb. In fact, Cher's VMA outfit was pretty much all of those things, minus the headdress (slacker!), though her wig was approximately the size of Lady Gaga.

+ Who wore Gaga's meat dress best? Vote!

When watching the 2010 MTV VMAs on television, everything happens so fast. Your friends are texting you, maybe you've got one eye on Twitter and another eye on your microwaved dinner, while you make a mental note to ask your barber whether he can make you look more like Jared Leto (hypothetically, of course).

But photographs freeze moments in time, capturing a split second forever. Which is why we thought it would be cool to count down the boldest, most beautiful and flat-out weirdest performance moments of this year's VMAs.

+ The Bold: Justin Bieber Plays The Drums

Lots of moving parts in Bieber's performance. There was the arrival in the convertible, the running from Bieber-fevered fans, the singing and dancing routine--it was a lot to handle. But the boldest moment was when Bieber got behind the kit to bang on his drum all day (or for about a minute). Who knew little Biebs had it in him? Well, we did, but we had no idea he was basically a cuter version of Animal from "The Muppets."

The Beautiful: Drake And Mary J. Blige Suit Up

Even we'll admit that the MTV VMAs can get a little bawdy at times, so it was cool to see Drake and Mary J. Blige keeping it classy. Performing Drake's Thank Me Later jam for the ladies, "Fancy," Drake looked like a modern day Sinatra in his white tux. But the real star of the performance was Mary, who looked fantastic rocking a black fedora with a shock of blond hair peeking out from underneath.

The WTF?: Nicki Minaj And Will.i.am As The Jetsons

Look, we LOVE Nicki Minaj. We would fake-marry her if Drake hadn't already fake-married her. And one thing we really, really love about Nicki Minaj is the wild and crazy looks she breaks out. But given the flack he's taken in the last few days over his, um, unique choice in attire, she might have wanted to pregame with Will.i.am a little harder, regarding his stage fashion.

Travie McCoy played an important, if small, role at the 2010 MTV VMAs, performing briefly, high above the Nokia Theater crowd, as the VMAs telecast went to commercial.

So we thought it was only right to give him a moment in the spotlight with a little more breathing room. With that in mind, we have his "We'll Be Alright" video.

The song "We'll Be Alright" is taken from Travie's debut solo album, Lazarus. It's also worth pointing out that the song, "We'll Be Alright," is pretty much taken from 90's/00's Brit-Pop faves Supergrass' anthem, "Alright," lifting the original's chorus and carefree feeling.

The video is basically a PG-13 house party. People skateboard indoors, Travie flips the bird and uses some bad words, and much pillow fighting and shooting of silly string ensues.

Watch the video for Travie McCoy's "We'll Be Alright" below. WARNING: NSFW LANGUAGE. And check out Travie's all-too-brief live rendition of "Billionaire," from the 2010 MTV VMAs as well.

After two whole days of toasting the d-bags, jerkoffs and, of course, the a**holes, it's time to finally hear a studio version of "Runaway"--the song Kanye West used to bring down the house on the 2010 MTV VMAs.

The studio version of "Runaway" is still a funny, sad and beautiful song. You can hear the numerous layers of production and subtleties in the backing vocals that weren't apparent in the live version. Along with "Monster" and "Power," "Runaway" will probably be on West's upcoming album, (supposedly titled) Dark Twisted Fantasy.

This version also illustrates how incredibly energetic and passionate West's 2010 MTV VMAs performance was. The recorded take of "Runaway," while still awesome, is not the version we just fell in love with. The vocals are far more emotionally distant and Pusha T's guest verse, delivered with such fire on the Nokia Theater stage, is far more reserved.

All this really means is that we have two great versions of a great song. So check both the live and studio versions of "Runaway" below.

One of the great performances of the 2010 MTV VMAs came courtesy of Brit pop act Florence + The Machine. The group's performance of "Dog Days Are Over" blew away the crowd with the ethereal vocals of Florence Welch backed up with booming percussion, and astounding visuals inspired by Kabuki and synchronized swimming.

With all that exposure, what better time than now to release a new video? Florence + The Machine have dropped an eerie clip for "Heavy In Your Arms," the track Welch penned for the "Twilight Saga: Eclipse" soundtrack.

While the song may have been written for the romantic and melodramatic world of Edward, Jacob and Bella, the ghostly, grainy, mysterious video for "Heavy In Your Arms" has a lot more in common with with the DIY haunted house flick "Paranormal Activity."
